well im a junior in high school and im starting to worry about college. I know i have time and crap and i dont gotta worry about it know but im just curios how it all goes on and stuff. i kinda wanna major in veteranary science, or music, or psycology. my school is pretty laid back when it comes to this stuff and idk they start actually doing anything to help us until like april or something. so i was wondering if anyone here can give me some advice on how to decide on a route and how to prepare for applying for college and what not

Don't worry about it too much. Most people switch majors, and credits often transfer. So if you change your mind, it's not necessarily a big deal.
But I'd recommend looking into community college first. It's cheaper, so even if you drastically change your mind and have to retake a couple things, it's ok.
Start out with a lot of general classes like English and math since they're required for most majors anyway.
You can look for a job, even if it's just volunteer work. That can help you decide and look good on a resume.
You can also look through your local classified ads to see what is in demand in your area.

Pretty much what Lorien said. I did two years of college under general studies, one year in university as a psychology major, and I'm now a third year social work student after transferring over to a new major. Sometimes people switch multiple times before figuring out what they want to do. My mom's a college professor and she's had students who get to their 3rd or 4th year and realize they actually want to be doing something else. sweatdrop
