~ You must follow the testing scenario assigned to you.
~ Have fun!

Scoring:
A 85 credits
B- 75 credits
C- 65 credits
D- 45 credits
F- 20 credits

~Ice- Pretty simple with this one. The floor becomes solid ice. There are random chunks of ice protruding from the floor. And of course, you have little to no traction.

~Desert- Pretty much nothing but massive sand dunes. You sink down into the sand, which slows you down a LOT. If the wind blows, the sand gets kicked up, which obscures vision.

~Open Field- A plain grassy field with nothing on it.

~Ocean- A mini ocean about 40 feet deep. There are five floating platforms for battlers to stand on. The plat forms bob around and it's really hard to keep your balance on them.

~Dense Forest- The arena is packed from wall to wall with dense, tropical trees. As in any tropical jungle, there are lots of vines and other such things to get tangled up in.

~Land of Fire- Parts of the arena floor sink away, leaving behind pits of lava. Also, pillars of fire erupt from the floor periodically

~Concrete- A plain concrete floor.

~The Abyss- Near complete darkness engulfs the arena. Dark energy is abundant in this field.

~The Sanctuary- Opposite of the Abyss. Light energy fills the arena. Its very bright!

~No floor- The floor drops away leaving a pit filled with spikes. There are levitating platforms at varying heights, going all the way to the top of the arena. It's hard to jump from platform to platform, and trust me, you don't want to fall.
Ryuka Navali generated a random number between 1 and 10 ... 8!

Something slithered in the darkness about her feet as she entered the erie darkness of the room. All light seemed to have been drowned out by the dark energy radiating from here. The air was thick with it, an almost liquid like amount of energy and dark, like oil; it was hard to breathe.
She felt her hand to the wall; Sheba was all but blind in this darkness. Taking a tentative step forward, she stumbled and fell. The sound of her tripping resonated through out the entirety of the room; how far did the darkness stretch? The hollow echo was mimicked by the sound of bare scales scraping over the rough ground.
Sheba stood, fear rising in her chest and her knees burning in light pain. What else resided within this room? Her breathing quickened as she turned and tried to find the door; her search was for naught as it did not turn up anything, not even the thinnest of hairline cracks. Her hair began to slip from the pony tail she had put it in.
The slithering sound grew closer and closer with each passing heart-beat. Sheba resorted to her instincts and ran, as far as she could away from the sound and against the wall.
Her foot-steps echoed over the floor and she heard nothing in the complete and total silence. She drew up her palm, not even seeing it in front of her face.
"Light," She shouted in an uneasy tone as the slithering noise grew nearer and nearer; her palm did not light: there wasn't enough light energy about her, and dark energy took a while to translate itself, "Light! LIGHT!" She shouted in a panic as the slithering stopped and was replaced by the sound of hissing, her palm finally lit; exposing the snake-like creature only mere inches before her, it reached back on itself, its mouth opening and exposing many hundreds of teeth- it screamed at her, grabbing for her arm.
She ducked out of the way, but not before it got a hold of her shirt and ripped her sleeve off- ripping off bits of her flesh in the process. Her arm burned and the light, in her palm, shed little light on the situation. All around her she heard the creature slither. What was she to do? Switching her light to her left hand, she pulled her rapier out with her right and stood off-handed as the creature slithered about her. Its scales rapping against the stoney floor, she heard it behind her and slashed- then she ran in the opposite direction- fearing her life. The smell of her blood in her nose, and tears stinging her eyes as she ran as far as she could before she could breathe no more.

She stopped, air burning in her lungs as she gasped and tried to catch her breath. That creature, whatever it was, wasn't hurt badly. She clutched her sword in her off sword hand, she was wounded in the dark and alone with that beast. All alone.... Just like her child hood, the battle brought back memories of being shoved into closets, of hiding, and running; of hurting; the painful feelings she had always locked away.
Sitting down and collecting her wits as she rested she began to list off things she knew about it just from their brief encounter, blocking out all else. It, whatever it was, was reptilian in nature, had many teeth which may or may not be poisoness, thick scales, a large snake-like body.... In her mind it could only be one of two things, a sand worm taken and mutated or some other form of snake like creature. Whatever it was it was dangerous, and she didn't have much time until it would, likely, find her. Sheba looked at her wounded arm, if anything at all she should try to heal herself or at least see if it was poisoned. Her mind went back to the creature, it seemed well adapted to the darkness, though not very afraid of the light. What sort of magics could possibly hurt it? Dark energy was abundant here, but, the creature breathed of it- it couldn't possibly be damaged by that.
Replacing her sword by her side, she took a deeper look at her arm. It was bleeding rather badly and would require a lot of her energy and attention. However, she had neither to spare for it. Healing would have to wait.
She heard the familiar slithering noise in the darkness accompanied by a wet noise, as if its scales were wet. Had she really hit it that hard with that ill placed slash? Where? How many more times would she have to in order to kill it?
Standing up she cast her light in a circle five feet around her. The creature wasn't that close, yet. Sheba's breath quickened as she heard its tongue lap at the air. Defiantly not a sand worm. It lunged at her from behind, grabbing her left shoulder and shaking her. She flew out of its mouth and to the side, her sword falling to the ground feet away.
Standing, Sheba grabbed her shoulder and cursed; it was close to killing her she knew. Only a few inches to the right....
It slithered her way yet again and she was tempted to run. But how far could she get before it caught her again? How far before blood-loss caused her to collapse and die in the darkness? Rage filled her, this creature, this beast, would not take her. Not today, not tomorrow; never. She grabbed her gun with her right hand, her left arm dangling uselessly with the light still in her palm. It would stay that way until she stopped giving it her energy. Sheba took aim as the creature barreled toward her, her first two shots missed; glancing off the side of its face. Her third and last bullet found itself in the creatures eye. It screamed in pain as it threw its upper body down on her.
Sheba rolled away and ran, looking for her sword. One bullet wouldn't stop the beast, but if she could wound it again. Then maybe, just maybe, she would survive long enough to find an exit from this infernal place.
She found it, lying on the floor near the wall. As safe a place to be, the creature couldn't attack her from behind here, and she could easily stop it with her sword. She replaced her gun, and took up her sword with her off sword hand. Holding it while her left still dangled uselessly. She could hear the blood dripping off of it and through the light as she waited for the creature to come and face her one final time...

Sheba's dark hair fell into her face as she waited, she didn't even try to pull it back again. The light in her palm began to flicker, then die as she diverted her energy to surviving this cretins deadly bites.
She could hear the hissing once more, coming from in front of her. Sheba closed her eyes, waiting till it came closer. The solitary drip of her arm bleeding, now accompanied by a host of other noises. She could taste its metallic blood in her nose as she breathed in. A horrible smell it was.
All noise other then her arm dripping; stopped. She looked down as she felt her feet become wet through her shoes, the smell of blood greeting her. Not only hers, but its as well. She braced herself, then thrusted into the gaping mouth of the beast as it lunged at her. Her sword slid down its long throat as its teeth sank lightly into her shoulder. They remained like that and as Sheba lit a dim light in the palm of her hand, she saw why.
Its glassy green eye began to glaze over, its body shaking lightly, it fell to the ground not able to hold itself up any longer. It was dead. Unfortunately, she was still under it. Her shoulder caught by its blade like teeth in a hollow grasp. The fall had knocked her down and driven its teeth deeper into her covered flesh.
Sheba laid there, the dizzy notion that she had won running through her head. But now what to do? She still had to get out. She still had to escape.
Sheba drove her still good shoulder up into the creature and tried to lift up. It moved just enough for her to slide out from under it, bloody.
Standing up she looked over herself with the dim light. Her shirt sleeves were torn, her body was covered in her own blood and that of the dead creature. Her hair was a mess, her exposed flesh marked, torn, and dirtied. Her knees were scraped and dirty, and her pants were torn. Some how, she had lost her shoes in the confusion of battle. But she couldn't be happier, she had won she would live.
Dragging her sword out of the creature with one injured arm, she sheathed it, and looked over the creature, her curiosity over taking her as she stared at it. She prodded it with her foot and jumped back as it coiled from muscle memory. The dim light casting shadows over its grotesque scaled body. It was long, longer then she was tall. Completely covered its body save for the places where it was slashed through by her sword. Its right eye was bloody, while its left was a glazed and glassy green. The overall color of it was green with tones and hues of golden brown here and there, in some places whisker like stands off hair poked from between the scales.
Sheba moved away with a shiver, she knew as much as she wanted to. Now she had to escape this room and get medical treatment, she had neither the will nor the energy to heal herself. And both wounds still bled. Sheba began to hum as she walked; free to run or jog or walk without the fear of being killed or eaten in this room. She felt as light as a feather and her head swam with tiny insignificant thoughts as it came closer and closer to complete exhaustion.

I'll drop a 75 here.

Cg, i'm fairly certain this is your first test, and for your first one, you did pretty damn well. Besides a few incorrect punctuations here and there, and kinda jumping right into the fight, everything seemed pretty well described and i couldve been in the room watching it if it hadn't been for those few mistakes.
