I've been offered a job, but it's for minimum wage (4.50) and it's in Arkansas.
On the plus side, it's in a bookstore, has benefits if I work full time, and I have a friend there I can room with if need be.
I had my heart set on a job in a larger city, but I don't know if I'll ever get that job.
What do I doooo?!

take what you can get. you can still quit the job when you find something better. book store with friend sounds good to me.

that's $.25 away from being half of what minimum wage is here. >>
i wouldn't get out of bed for $4.50/hr. if you can work for that little, you are a god damn trooper!

Maybe it was a typo. I think he meant to say r.50, which doesn't make sense, but it's gotta be better than 4.50.

I'm jumping on the WTF bandwagon.... 4.50 is minimum?!?! That's exactly HALF of minimum wage here. Do you make mad librarian tips out in Arkansas that I am unaware of?

the federal minimum wage is $7.25 as of last July, but maybe Arkansas hasn't heard about that yet?

You're right, it's 7.50.
They look kind of the same?
I'm waiting on two other possible jobs. If they fall through it's off to Arkansas I go!
