I've heard about how there's supposedly going to be new plots, how there won't be any new plots, how people want plots, how the developers are too busy with site upkeep and so forth, etc. etc. etc....
Well, you know what?
I WANT PLOT, AND I WANT IT NOW!
And what's more, I want a good plot so badly that I'm willing to do something about it!
Here's the deal: I had a few ideas for some developments to Gaia, and want to team up with people who (a) also have some ideas for plots and expansions and (b) are as serious as I am about doing something about the gratuitous lack of decent interactive plots around here. To this end, I'm throwing down the gauntlet, nyao, and hoping that someone will pick it up and accept my challenge.
I need some fellow writers and roleplayers, as well as artists of all levels of talent and all descriptions, who are willing to help put together a presentation on behalf of the Gaia Unlimited Guild as a whole to the devs and admins of Gaia Online that shows them that not only are we serious about our desire, but we're serious enough to do the lion's share of the work to at least get the ball rolling!
I'm as serious as possible about this--if we as a guild give Gaia Online's developers, administrators, and other high mucky-mucks a decently developed idea presented in an at least semi-professional manner, preferably set up enough to show them that we're at least willing to meet them halfway and do part of the work for them when it comes to creating, and if necessary, running, new interactive plots and that we can create storylines that are at least as good as anything they could come up with, I'm convinced that we'll get what we want--interactive plots that will set Gaia Online, the site, apart from Facebook (which it seems to be turning into...), Myspace, Twitter, and all those 'other' online "communities"!
What do the rest of you say--are you serious enough about wanting new plots and new features on this site to put your Gaia Gold where your mouths are, so to speak, and join me in letting the powers that be know just how serious we really are? If so, then say so here or PM me so we can get this show on the road, nyao!
All we have to lose is our time and energy, right? >-_^<
