>A mare with a chocolate brown coat walked around the forest.She was walking in the forest because it was her favorite place in the world.Since more wild animals and flowers and beautiful scenery was here.The mares blue eyes watched some water fall from a little creek.Each water drop hit every other rock,then they formed into a full group.Her mane fell in front of her face as she watched the creek.
>Rock's hooves tapped gingerly with the dripping and noise of the creeks and trees around him. The song of the birds, the shaking of the leaves, even the click of his hooves, all sounded like music in his ears. in his throat, he hummed a gentle, happy tune for travelers. It was written to cheer them up and keep them safe when traveling in the mountains with wolves. But rock was oblivious to its
meaning, he just loved the rhythm it had. Just as he loved the forest.
>Telnara's ears lifted as she heard clicking.Her eyes moved around as the clicking came closer.Lifting her head up she looked around for anything that could hurt her.Flicking her tail she whinnied for an answer.
>ROckstar's eyes shot opened and in an instant they searched they woods and trees for a another Soquili. He returned the whinny, giddy with excitement that this beautiful day may have just brought him a new friend.
>Nara's ears shot up again.A whinny came back to hers.She gave back another whinnies.It was a stallion.But who was it?
>Rock smiled, a smile as bright as the sun. The only thing he loved as much as music and singing was meeting new people. As the second whinny returned and vibrated in his ears, he knew it was a mare. And a young one? He trotted happily towards the direction from which the sound had been born. And due to his excitement, he was unable to restrain a song. "Id rather pick flowers...instead of fights.
Can you tell me...are we in this together....?"
>Nara listened at the hooves she once heard went faster.Listening more someone was singing.She didn't answer to the voice but she just stood there waiting for the stallion to show his face.Her mane blew in the wind as she waited.
>Rock clicked his tongue and hummed the rest of the song. He passed over a fallen log, and entered a small clearing. The floor was speckled with wild flowers, but what caught his eye was the mare standing there. "Wait a sec..." he whispered....That star.... "TEL??"
>Nara looked at the stallion,a blush went across her muzzle.flicking her tail and being shy she looked at him."Are...you..."Watching him she said."Rock?"Nara had grown up to be a beautiful mare.Her daddy even said so
>Rockstar beamed. "You remember me? Thats just!" Then his eyes truly looked at her. She had grown into a fine mare. he long mane and star really made her look stunning. "....wow" And then he laughed and run towards her and gave a loving nuzzle in her shoulder
>Nara looked at him and laughed."Yeah."Listening to him she blinked.Wondering what 'wow' ment."Wow what?"She said softly,her voice sounding gentle.
>Rock smiled at her, and said bluntly, ":You have grown into one beautiful mare!" He gave a whistle. And then laughed again.
>Blushing she smiled."Thanks Rock."Nuzzling him back she whinnied happily."Whats so beautiful about me?"
>"Well your star for one!" He said with a laugh.
>Trying to look at her star from her sight.She laughed."well...."
>Rock laughed. "Take my word for it, its pretty!" Then he looked around and noticed a small stream, "Look!"

>Rock beamed, filled to the ears with joy, "Well then lets sing!" He began to sing "When you and I are alone, Ive never been so at home....when we are apart what ever are you thinking of...?"

>Rock smiled and continued, "Tonight I see the moon, it is only half there...just like when I am apart from you...my heart in is half, will you come back to me tonight? To create a full moon?"
>Nara giggled a little."Tonight will be the night that i will fall for you,even though were not a whole heart,we could be a whole heart,even without each other there.Its seems to me that your are vulnerable."
>"Night is leaving, it sun is rising, and it is whole, it is always whole. And when you come with me, so will I. Lets be together, never letting go of eachother's hand"
>Nara looked at him then put her muzzle into the river for a drink.She didn't finish the song.Why?She didn't even know why she didn't finish.

Linnie approached them as she looked at her chocolate brown sister.Nipped playfully at Her hair she looked at rock.She was feeling nervous.

>Nara laughed.A huge burst of excitement broke out of her.

>Rock closed his eyes tight and yelled at the top of his lungs. Let out all the emotions. All the confusion, anger, anxiety, even hatred. He yelled so loud, every bird and animal ran. "LINNIE!!"
>Linnie stopped at a halt and stood there waiting."W...w...what..."
Nara stopped laughing and realized what she'd done.Something horrible,But it was to get back to the story linnie had told her when she was a little filly.
>Rock huffed and puffed. The scream had left him out of breathe. But it was his mind and heart that were the most tired. "Why Linnie? We were...ARE just friends. I have Candy and you have Trevor. Then tell me WHY!!" His eyes narrowed. He didn't hate her. he hated himself.
>"I haven't seen Trevor in over a year..."Tears welted her eyes,they strolled down her muzzle and smacking into her hoof."i.....i'm....sorry..."She said so softly."You've taken me in...and treated me...and you spending so much time with me made me confused..."She shook with her hooves clapping together."I...I'll...Go..."
>Rock opened his eyes again. He stared at the ground. His face mixed with pain and confusion and worry. "But...friends...we were just friends...you were just you and I was just me...nothing...nothing ever happened...did it...?" He looked up, his eyes begging for answers.
>"No..Nothing happened..."Linnie started to walk off."I just felt...."She paused."loved..."Her body was full of agony,and discomfort.Linnie's eyes wouldn't stop dropping tears."I'll leave you alone...to be with candy..."
Nara had listened to allan's story,now linnie's.They were both similar.Allan loved candy,linnie loved rock.
>Rock looked at her again, his eyes wide with pain. "No...no..." he shook his head. "I lover Candy...I love her. But I love you too. But...its different... I love you too Linnie." He clenched his teeth almost to a breaking point. "can't we just be friends...its so much more...simple...'
>"Fine...We can be just friends...I'll leave so you can talk to nara..."Linnie took off in a hurry.
Nara looked at rock."You know her story is similar to someone i know."
>Rock stepped forward, he was ready to chase after her. To catch up to her, to hug her and comfort her. Just like a real friend. But what stopped him was Nara. Her words. He looked at her. "Why did you tell me? Now she is sad! I can't bare to see her sad..." He yelled linnie's name once more. But now his voice was rough and coarse. It hurt his throat
>"I don't know.Maybe so you could look at other people.See that someone else loves Candy just as much as you do.And he feels the same way as linnie does."
Linnie heard him screaming her name,she couldn't bare it anymore.
>Rock kept screaming. Up to the point where he cou;ld almost taste blood and his voice was a sword in his throat. And then the tears came. They were silent and rare, but they were there. And every so often, on fell to the ground. He stared at the ground. "B-but...Candy loves me and I love her...why would I care if someone else loved her...she is mine! And I am her's." He snapped his head to face
nara and glared, "Why would I even THINK of giving her up for someone else?"
>"Same thing you should be asking yourself about linnie,why would Candy care if someone loved you?"Nara stared at him in the eyes."Be angry all you want,others feelings wont go away.Linnie hasn't seen her once love in over a year,you caught her heart."
>Rock stood up straight and looked at Nara. Anger filtered into his eyes. It wan't for her. It was for this love triangle, or even square, that had formed suddenly. "But I don't love linnie that way. I love CANDY! And even if linnie loves me, candy knows she is the only one. And I know that candy is the only one for me. I won't give her up easily. People can have their own feelings, but they do not affect us. "
>"Alright..."Nara sighed,she wouldn't be able to get it through his head.Shrugging she walked off to find linnie."If you'd care enough,you'd help me find my sister."

Then isn't that something that would hurt Candy and linnie?" He looked ahead. "Linnie is my best friend. I would do anything for her. I would do anything to see her smile. And thats why i am coming to find her."

Nara looked at him."Nuzzling is fine,just somethings."

nara and glared, "Why would I even THINK of giving her up for someone else?"
>"Same thing you should be asking yourself about linnie,why would Candy care if someone loved you?"Nara stared at him in the eyes."Be angry all you want,others feelings wont go away.Linnie hasn't seen her once love in over a year,you caught her heart."
>Rock stood up straight and looked at Nara. Anger filtered into his eyes. It wan't for her. It was for this love triangle, or even square, that had formed suddenly. "But I don't love linnie that way. I love CANDY! And even if linnie loves me, candy knows she is the only one. And I know that candy is the only one for me. I won't give her up easily. People can have their own feelings, but they do not affect us. "
>"Alright..."Nara sighed,she wouldn't be able to get it through his head.Shrugging she walked off to find linnie."If you'd care enough,you'd help me find my sister."
>Rock stepped up to her and smiled. "Why wouldn't I care, its linnie after all. And when we find her, you can explain more...."
>"Why would you like me to explain more?My words don't matter."Nara looked ahead of her.
>He cocked his head, "Why do you say that? Because I told you I love candy and only candy?"
>"Nope."She simply said.
>Then why?" He jumped into her path. He didn't want to hurt or stop her, he was just doing it to show he really wanted to know.
>"Because,you push linnie away,Linnie was probably there for you first now wasn't she,and you didn't even see the inside of her,on how she felt about you,you assumed that you were just 'friends' She felt something more there."
>Rock's smile went away. "Linnie may like me, but I am not pushing it away. i have accepted it. But if I tell her I love her, even though I don't. Then isn't that something that would hurt Candy and linnie?" He looked ahead. "Linnie is my best friend. I would do anything for her. I would do anything to see her smile. And thats why i am coming to find her."
>Nara snorted."Then why'd you lead her on?"
>Rock looked at her confused.
>"You led her on by showing your soft side,and acting like you had interest in her.Affectionate 'friend' love.What you ment to do was be just friends,but you acted affectionate towards her."
>Rock's head shot back. "I-I was just...being myself...." Now he was totally confused. Did his actions bare a second meaning?
>"You was being your flirty side,which you were doing when i met you earlier.again."Nara shook her head."You have many emotions and actions.Which right at this moment you've expressed a bunch.But when your around females.And you say you love Candy?Don't be as affectionate."
>Rock closed his eyes. Then the corners of his mouth rose and ticked. They turned into a smile. And then he laughed. A hardy, happy laugh. "But Nara... thats just who i am. I can't change that." and he smiled
>"i know...but its tricking people like linnie to fall into love with you...And now she doesn't even know about Trevor,and she doesn't even know who to go to now...for love.."
>Rock looked at her gently. "But its not my fault. Its just how i am...and if it makes others fall for me...then I have a problem...but its just who I am. Just like you like singing, its who you are."
>"I understand"She nodded.
>Rock smiled, "Good, cuz i don't want you sad as well!" He nuzzled her and then shot his head back "Oh, sorry. I won't do that!" he gave a nervous laugh, and then looked at her seriously, "We need to find Linnie...."
>Linnie was laying in muddy water,with her head laid on a rock.Breathing heavy linnie heard voices,she didn't want to move.Too much pain,and misery.She should be taken out of this world.
Nara looked at him."Nuzzling is fine,just somethings."
>Rock smiled, and hoped that nara was not angry or disapionted with him. SO he gave a serious nod. "Yes m'am!" And he turned and sniffed the air for Linnie's scent.
>Nara shook her head."Yeh."She looked around for linnie.
Linnie just laid within that muddy water.Listening to them speak.
>Rock snapped a branched under his foot. He could smell linnie. "Linnie...You there?"
>Nara noticed linnie."Rock.."
Linnie looked up at them as she laid in the mud,her hair matted and the mud dried on her skin.
>Rock looked over to where Nara's eyes had traveled. He gasped. "Why are you in the mud?" He ran up to her and tried to help her up.
>Linnie snapped at him."Leave me be,i'm relaxing..Trying to get over the hurt and depressing moods that take in my life right now."She looked at him and sighed lightly.
Nara seen linnie snap and she snapped back."Don't snap at him,he was caring."
>Rock smiled at her and continued to help her up. "Well, I know I nice relaxing spring, its better than the mud."
>Linnie stood and laid her head across his back."okay.."Her legs shook as she stood there.
Nara stood there waiting for them to talk by themselves.
>Rock looked at her and smiled gently, and nuzzled her ear lightly "Now tell me whats wrong."
>"Nothing really at all,I just don't understand..."Her mane fell in her face.
>"Linnie..." he looked to Nara for help, "Im sorry...for making you love me..."
>"No being sorry..Its not your fault..."linnie looked away and took her head off his back,she just stared at the mud.
>Rock sighed "But it is...its because Im so nice...but I can't change that...but...I really do care for you Linnie, you have to know that...'
>"I know,I just don't know who to go to for love now...Since i don't even see Trevor anymore..."Linnie started to walk for some apple trees.
