Owen was in the best mood he'd ever been in before. He smiled down at the basket infront of him, where his little Harlow was lying on his back, paws curled towards his belly, and tail draped over the side. He was sitting in a clearing filled with leaves that had fallen off the trees as the season changed. He pulled a blanket over his cub, then leant back to relax. Things were so...awesome. He never thought he'd be so happy to have a child, but he felt like his life had more direction now. And that direction was to rob more people, in order to give his little one a comfortable life! But...he'd get to that later. He needed to come down from his high over having a child first. Not to mention get settled somewhere long enough for the thing to learn to walk.

Taran wandered about, feeling a little lost at the lack of the bright spring flowers and colors that he had gotten so used to, was made for. Bright green eyes a little frantic, he looked around for anything living. To his surprise, he found two. He stayed hidden in the trees, loosing their leaves, a single bright spot in a world of browns, yellows, reds and dull greens. Fall was not his season, and it made him uncomfortable to think that winter, a season of sleeping plants, was coming next.

Jackie sighed. He still couldn't find a suitable place to live, and with the weather getting colder and colder, he needed one fast. He also needed to get a job to earn enough to support both himself and Qiuyue... He shook those thoughts away and turned his attention to the little sleeping ball of fur in his arms that was his adopted little sister. She looked very calm and peaceful. To himself, Jackie wished that he could be that calm and content. The centaur smiled and hugged Qiuyue closer to him as he walked through the forest.

Owen's ears twitched, and he turned his head first towards Taran, who stood out just a little bit against the brown of the forest, cocking an eyebrow, then in the direction that he could hear Jackie and Qiuyue coming from. He didn't expect anyone to be out right now, at least not here. He turned to Taran again, and tilted his head to the side, using a front paw to pull Harlow's basket closer, "What're you doin' over there?" Good Gods above, that was a very pink taur. Thats all he could really tell.

Taran tensed as he was addressed, feeling very, very nervous as he could see the other taur was a male. But the basket intrigued him... so he moved closer, nervously. "I was passing through..." His voice, deep yet quiet and ever so slightly raspy, seemed to come out on its own. The tall, young cervitaur man looked down at the cattaur and the infant, his guard melting slightly at the sight of the child. "Very cute... is he yours?"

Jackie, carrying his sister, quickly spotted the two other males. Though he did wonder why the cervitaur was bright purple... You're one to talk, Mr. Jack-O-Lantern Face, he chided himself. Grimacing, it was then that he noticed that the cattaur had a baby with him as well. Jackie smiled and looked down to his own bundle of joy in his arms. The centaur then approached the two. "Excuse me," he started. "We're a tad lost, so if you could help us out..."

Owen looked on guard at first, but when asked about his baby, he grinned, "Yeah, he is. Just born, too," he said, sighing wistfully as he pet Harlow's ear, "His name is Harlow." He said, looking back up at the cervitaur. "And I'm Owen. Who're you?" he said it curiously, though a little demanding as well, as was his nature. Owen jumped when Jackie talked, then turned to look at him, eyes wide and ears back. He'd already forgotten about him approaching. "That depends...where are you heading." Harlow stirred at the sound of voices, and opened his eyes lazily, yawning.

Taran was torn between staying near the children and whether or not he should trust these men. "Taran.. I'm Taran. Owen and Harlow.." he looked down at the child, made a little uncomfortable by the voices. Unable to help himself, he jumped a little at the sound of another male voice. He turned to see a festive centaur holding a tiny baby girl. Owen had already partially answered his question, but Taran figured he may as well add his two cents in as well. "I'm never quite sure where I am headed, so I may not be the right person to ask." The flowers, ever-blooming in his antlers, got a little darker at his uneasy emotions.

Jackie was startled by the cattaur's reaction to his arrival. He took a deep breath to calm himself down and then proceeded to answer the male's question. "A-anywhere, really..." he began. "I'm fairly new to the Isles, and so I can't find anything. But the most important thing right now I think is to find a suitable home for me and her." He motioned to Qiuyue, who was starting to wake and was whimpering. Jackie then faced both males and addressed them. "My name is Jackie, by the way. And what are yours?"

Harlow whined, and held his arms towards Owen. The man promptly picked him up, and cradled him, blanket still wrapped around the baby to keep him warm. It was a little chilly out, after all. He looked to Jackie again, with a thoughtful expression, "I'm Owen, this is Harlow, and our colorful friend here is Taran. Me and him only just met too," he stood up, stepping back so he could speak to both of them, "You can build a house anywhere you want, really, but I'm not sure there's enough time before winter. So..." he frowned, looking up at the sky, "I don't know much about the centaur village, but I'd suggest looking there for a place to live, at least until its warm out again."

"Mm.. tha wassum goooood cida.." slurred words trailed and exaggerated each time he spoke. The stag's long legs zig zagged as he was guided thru the leaf carpeted ground. His torso was slumped over, and his arms looped around Priscilla's neck for support since he would surely fall on his arse any other way. Humming obnoxiously and off tune, a dazed expression on his face he looked around his surroundings. "Oooh mann... tha tree's `r nakkeddd.." a childish giggle hiccuped from him. Trudging along with her intoxicated right hand man, Priscilla grumbled irritabley. He could not hold his liquor, that's for sure. She even had more than him and her head was plenty level. What a softy. Doing a fine job of keep Vladamir from tottering over, Priscilla hissed at him, "Maybe you shouldn'tve had so much, you oaf." her eyes narrowed with pure annoyance. This was all too much a common occurance for the two, since they seemed to watch each other's backs. Humming in monotone, he rested his head on her shoulder and stared at her, "... yer pretteh..." he grinned with an unintentional attempt to "pick her up". Rolling her eyes, she gave him a fake smile, "And you're drunk" and with that she looked straight ahead Their little hooves made quite a commotion with his going all over the place. It was an interesting combo, the two of them. Both could blend in rather well with this changing of the season being brown and orange. Vladamir just seemed to be celebrating a bit too much.

Andrew's tail hung lazily behind him as he made his way through the forest. His poor excuse for a basket was halfway filled with firewood and berries. He searched the the scenery for any leftover fruit he could find. Those aren't good. he thought as he passed a bush, remembering a time when he got sick from eating berries like those. He pushed aside branches as he went deeper into a place he didn't know.
His search had gotten him lost... Again. "I need a map..." he sighed as he began to over hear others talking. He quickly ran to hide behind a tree as not to catch the eye of unwanted attention, but ended up tripping and landed in front of the two. One seemed to be drunk, slurring his words and walking in an uneven pattern, the other slightly annoyed. The contents of his basket had fallen onto the ground with him. "I'm so sorry! I'll clean this up and get out of your way!" his words seemed to be strained, conversations never were a strong point to his personality. Andrew scrambled to put everything back, but ended up making more of a mess.

Struggling to hault at the random apperance of some Centaur, Priscilla snarled and wrinkled her nose in distgust. The boy's obvious clumsy nature only made her more irritable. Not like having a drunken Cervi male was annoying enough. Rolling her eyes, she grumbled and struggled to step Vladamir and herself around he frantic teen.
A goofy grin on his face, Vladamir stared at the boy and busted out in an obnoxious and hearty laugh. "Wha-whaddaya doin', boyeh? t-tryin` ..nnn... to score, eh?" his eyebrow waggled upwards, as his eyes lazily swayed from his amiga to the flustered Andrew. Patting Priscilla's flank a bit roughly he added in a rather matter-a-fact way, "She `s a good lookin` doe..yeah?" His ears drooped as his eyes fluttered a few times, fighting between falling asleep and staying awake.
Tensing at Vladamir's touch, Priscilla gritted her teeth and thwaped the back of his head, "Don't put your hands on me, you drunk!" her eyes stared daggers into him, as she released a little huff of emberressment and frusteration.

Andrew started to blush out of embarrassment turned his head so they couldn't see his face. He had apparently walked in on something that was out of his control. "W-what do you mean?" He fumbled with the wood, trying to calm himself so that he could get out of their way as soon as possible. The berries where of no concern to him at that particular moment.
Soon he abandoned his task of picking up the firewood so that he would not further annoy the them... Or just the girl. He slowly dragged himself up, ears drooped low, a shy smile on his face. He noticed the drunken Cervitaur was leaning heavily on the her and falling asleep. He cleared his throat and took a step toward them. "Would you like some help? I'm pretty strong." he flexed his non existent muscles and laughed dryly.

Scoffing and rolling her eyes at the boys attempts to show his strength, she shook her head. "No, no. I don't need nobody's help." she retorted feeling rather offended. Her own arms were bulging with muscle and support for this larger male that was strewn on her.
"Aahhhh.. dn't worreh, m'boyeh.." he paused, a awkward grin on his face as he took time to stare at Andrew's face. Blinking lazily a few times, one eye at a time, he started again as if nothing had happend, "sssshhhhe jus playsss hawrdd ta gett.." a deep hum resignated from him as he closed his mouth from speaking. His eyes found themselves staring straight at Priscilla's breasts shamelessly. A calm expression was on his face.
Clearly wishing there weren't so many idiots around, Priscilla growled and hoisted him up a bit more so she had a better hold, "Shut up you idiot." her little hooves began to step around Andrew.
His legs swerving about, almost getting tangled, Vladamir babbled, "Mmm.. buh whaddabout yer strippeh..? those dn't come cheapppppp... specially at tha-that ageee.." his head leaned back to stare at Andrew, causing Priscilla to struggle even more. "ah betcha charge a-alot, hmmmm? boyeh?" his antlers almost touched his back.
