No real title yet

Jayce stood at the window and stared at the mask she wanted. if they just had it at 50k less she would be able to buy it. It felt as if she had been after this mask for a while and she was soo close gold wise. The one side of her lips tightened into a almost comical face. She also wanted this new wig the stores had just started carrying however she felt strongly that the price would drop. Besides, the mask was an older item and their were not many around, it was hard to find as it was but still she was hoping to get it for a bargain.

Unwillingly she turned to go. There was no point in standing their and just looking at it, no matter how much she loved the lines on it and the craftsmanship. The sun was beginning to set and she was sure Klute was looking at his dog bowl and wondering why their was no food in it.

She was so much into her thoughts that she walked right smack into a chest. She raised her head and blinked up at the smiling face of whoever it was in confusion. Unfortunately the chest she had walked into was Ian.

The expression on Jayce's face turned from confusion to shock and then to regret. "I-Ian, I am so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going" Ian continued to smile down on her. "It's quite alright, I'm sure you didn't mean it" he replied. "I can walk you back to your restaurant to make sure you don't walk into anyone else." He continued.

Jayce shook her head and refused his offer. "No thank you, I don't think it will happen again. I don't think I am that bad" She laughed it off but she was a little taken aback that he thought her that clumsy that she needed help in walking. Without waiting for a response back she started walking home. Her independent streak and her pride would not allow for being treated as if she were an invalid or one of those weak giggly bitches that laughed at everything a man said, even if it was not funny.

Two minutes later she heard someone calling her name. With a glance behind her she saw Ian running after her. This caused her to stop and wait for him to catch up. "Ian, what's going on? why are you following me?" He was quiet for a few minutes as he caught his breath and then he explained. I know you can walk home by yourself, but if you don't mind I would like to walk with you. Jayce mulled this over and then relented. "Fine, suit yourself." however she was secretly delighted that he wanted to walk with her.

She would never admit this however as she was not about to give that kind of power over herself to him. She had been in love with him for years but he had never noticed how much she had pined for him. Pined for his looks or his touch. It did not take then long to reach her Bar and Grill and taking out her keys Jayce commented to Ian. "Well, I am safely home. . . ." And stepped inside the dimly lit room.

The next thing she knew was looking back one more time, seeing Ian's lips moving but not really hearing what he said and wondering why the room was moving backwards. With an "Omph!" they both landed roughly on the hardwood floor. Jayce's head snapped back and she nearly saw stars from the smack to her head. It took several minutes for her to recover but when she did, she realized Ian was still on top of her. Jayce took a quick intake of breath and looked away however he had already seen the muted desire in her ruby colored eyes before she had turned her head.

"Jayce?"

Ian's softly spoken question made her look at him again. She replied almost shyly "Y-yes Ian?" Jayce hoped to the deity above her face was not red.She felt as if she were backed into a corner, she did not want him to know, not like this anyway. However there was not a whole lot she could do while she was pinned down by his weight, she was not exactly complaining about this however.

"Jayce, your a walking disaster."

Jayce bristled with that comment and she really didn't like where this was going. trying to wriggle out from under him he shot an annoyed look at him and almost snarled.

"Get. . .OFF. . .of . . .me!"

Ian shot her a wounded look and immediately complied. She walked over to the bar and dusted herself off as Ian stammered out some apologies. She listened at first but then tuned it out. Grabbing a glass she poured herself a drink and then stuck one of those little plastic straws in it. Ian noticed that she was not paying attention and went around behind the bar and continued trying to explain with a worried look on his face. Jayce sighed and then turned to him. Obviously he was not going to leave off until she did something.

"Ian?"

He trailed off at her voice and that worried face of his just looked soo damn cute. Putting the glass down she turned to face him and tapped her short fingernails a couple of times and then continued.

"You really need to shutup"

Before he could even react she pushed him up against the bar and kissed him. Ian started and jerked his head back for a moment. His eyes grew wide and he stared at Jayce in shock. Obviously this was a surprise. But almost immediately he pulled her to him and touched his lips to hers almost. . . experimentally. He kissed her yet again feeling the soft pliant velvet of her mouth. the light contacts reverberated in his body like the thunderous beats of a huge drum.

One of his hands pressed the small of her back, the other cradled her head, and he captured her mouth in earnest. Not holding back in the least, Maybe because he couldn't help himself anymore? Ian groaned in pleasure. His hand explored the down-slope of her curves, his mouth sealed to hers and his whole body felt as if it were vibrating. In this pure moment time ceased and seemed to last an eternity. If he could have he would encircle his spirit with hers and travel upwards into the celestial heavens.

With a surprisingly quick move he moved the both of them and the tables were turned. Jayce felt her own back against the bar and Ian's hands firmly holding her. His kisses were a bit rough and her lips felt a tiny bit bruised but she did not want to end anything because of a little pain. This man had years of hunger inside of him and it had nothing to do with blood.

. . . . . .To be continued
