Just received an e-mail with this information: Gaia 9 Action News - October Issue Sneak Peek: Halloween 2009!Every true Gaian knows what Halloween means around these parts: zombie attacks, vampire intrigue, alien invasions and general apocalyptic bedlam. Halloween has always brought some bizarre goings-on, and this year will be no different. While it's too soon to tell exactly what's up, we've been hearing some cryptic rumors and creepy rumblings: whispers of ancient forces of light and darkness rising from their thousand-year slumber; tales of mysterious cults emerging to prepare for battle... We don't know quite what it means, but one thing's for certain: there hasn't been a Halloween yet that didn't end in Gaia's population descending into large-scale carnage, so make sure to dust off your heaviest butt-kickin' boots. Things will start getting creepy on October 22nd, and the full event will kick off on the 28th. See you there! So, what do you all think this mean? An all out battle between heaven and hell? Barton vs. Durem? Yanks against Red Socks?!?

I hope not. As of now, I don't give a damn for Durem because their name has now been completely tarnished by Twilight and their association with vampires. So I could care less about their sparkly butts anyways. rolleyes

*Cocks shotgun* Gather 'round, boys and gals. We gots us a vamp-hunt comin' up! Our primary concern is neither zombies nor elves. As Zombieland shows, our rotting, skeletal adversary can be easily dispatched as long as we go to an amusement park and the elves, well... I say we just hold them at arm's length, let 'em flail about a little, then punt 'em all the way to their 15 yard line.

this is our biggest fear Though you gotta admit, Chang, Zombieland was a cool movie. And, the one thing we have to remember, DON'T SHOOT BILL MURRAY.
Anyways, I usually stand in the middle when it comes to Barton and Durem anyways (of course I'll play for barton though), so I'm fine with shooting anything.
(I can't just abandon Panda on the Durem front lines, after all!) the only tunes that we hear

I have yet to see it, but by God, before this month is over, I will see Zombieland! scream
But yes, in anycase, we've figured out how to dispatch our elven and Michael Jackson-esque foes. Now, it's time for us to begin brainstorming ideas on how to harness the power of the Sun. Ideas?
