History: Alita was born in a small cothold near Fort Hold, she was sent at a young age to the Healer Hall to become an apprentice. Her fondness for dragons was not unknown. A dragonhealer came through the Hall from Fort Weyr in Alita's teenage years, a Master spoke to him on her behalf. She was taken to Fort to further her study in dragon healing.
Alita has spent the last thirty years learning and perfecting her craft in dragon healing. She has one seventeen year old son, who gives her a run for her marks! He was the result of a lonely night, and she has not revealed to him the name of his father.
She has requested a transfer to High Reaches Weyr to assist them in their need for healers.
Appearance: A plump woman with long dull brown hair kept tightly back in neat braid. Light brown eyes, her skin is tan. Nothing significant about her height to note. Alita is no spring wherry, there are wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. Her hands are well used and have small nicks and scars around her fingers and palms.
She smells always of herbs, spices, and tonics from years of working with them, it's an inside joke that even when she bathes her skin retains the scent.
Personality:
Alita is smothering mothering, with her patients (dragons and their riders). She always has kind words and encouragements, even for the littlest things. She will pry into your business to ensure the safety of the dragon...or just to be in your business. She's the nosy type, like a mother watching out for her teenagers.
She can be as proud as a gold watching her eggs hatch, when she sees a patient recovering from an injury.
Alita loves young dragons, she loves their different personalities, and cares greatly for their safety. This is not to say that she does not care deeply for all dragons, she just enjoys meeting weyrlings for the very first time.
She's confident in her skills as a healer and it shows in her personality, this isn't to be confused with being a pompous-a**, she's willing to admit she has no idea when something comes up she's never seen and even more willing to ask for help.

Approved as a Sr. Journeywoman. <3 We'll have opportunities in the future to advance rank, so she can definitely attain Master rank over the course of RP.
