Demon Friendship Quests

These Quests are small Requests from your Demons stored in your COMP. The Tasks they are asking for can vary from killing / negotiating with other Demons through defeating Field bosses or create Demon Crystals to simple ones like open a specific type of Plasma. Of course every time you complete one you get some rewards from your Demon (usually a decent amount of xp / a small amount of macca / some items and a Codename piece).

Note: Only Demons with Good Friends or higher Friendship will give you these Quests and to receive Quests for Special Code names you will need at least Open Hearts Friendship with your Demon

If you have a Demon in you COMP with the necessary Friendship level then you will see a message in your Chat-Window:

You will see this symbol on your Menu also:

Click on it and select Demon List. You will acess then the List of the Demons stored on your COMP and see a similar blue Icon next to every Demon who can offer Demon Friendship Quest for you.

Note: You have 3 attempts / Day with the Quests you give up on. Once you are accepted your 3rd DFQ you have to wait til tomorrow 1AM PST / 8AM GMT to take on the new Challenges.

Select a Demon whose Quest you want to complete and click on his Icon to proceed.

A new window will appear where the Demon explains the situation shortly and asks you to help. Click on the Details button to see the Quest's Details (Objectives / Time Limit / Possible Rewards). Click on the Accept button to start the Quest or on the Reject to Refuse your Demon's request.

Once you accepted the quest the Icon will change next to your Demon indicating you are doing that Demon's quest at the moment.

Note: You can only have one active DFQ so the other Demons' Icons will be grayed out til you won't finish or give up on your current one.

Click on this Icon to access the Quest's Status Window.

You can check the objectives of the Quest in this Window. You can also see your Progress and how much time do you have remaining. There are two buttons on the bottom: Report Back (which is grayed out for now til you won't complete the Quest Objectives) and Give Up.

User Image

You have to complete every Objectives of the Quest before your Time runs out. Once you are successfully you will get a message in your Chat Window:

Note: You can be in a Party during the Quest but your Party Members can't help you in your Quest in any way. The Quests' Objectives aren't shared and only for you so it won't count if your Party Members are giving the finishing blow to your targets / negotiate successfully with the Demons / opening Plasmas / Crystalizing Demons... etc.

Important !!! : Be careful and avoid those Quests which you can't complete cause of the lack of necessary Skills / Expertises

Open up your Quest's Status Window by clicking the Icon next to your Demon on your Demon List and click on the Report Back button which should be active now.

A confirmation message will appear on the middle of your screen:

Codenames:

Codenames are unique Titles obtainable through Demon Friendship Quests which are displayed instead of your Clan Name. Every DFQ can give you a Word for your Collection and you can make your own Codename from them.

To view you current Codename or change it open up your Character's Status / Equipment Window.

Here you can see your Codename in the Top right corner. Click on the Change button for editing your Codename.

In the next Window you can see 5 slots. These are for your Codenames.

Click on one of them to access the Word List and start to create a Codename to that slot.

User Image

A new Window will appear. This contains the Words you already acquired from your Demon Friendship Quests on 2 tabs. The Code tab contains the regular ones. You can store up to 50 of them in the order you acquire them. If you have more than 50 then the latest Word you got will disappear from the List. The Special Code tab holds the Special Words which you can obtain through Special DFQs. You can only receive these Quests from your Demon if you completed several Quests in a row and your Demon's Friendship Level is Open Hearts or higher. These tab can hold 10 Special Codes.

Select the Codes you like by clicking on them and you can see them appear on the top. If you made a mistake and want to remove a Code from you Codename the click on the BS (Back Space ) button next to your Codename.

When you are done click on the Embed button to save your Codename to your slot.

User Image

You will be moved back to the "Change Codename" window and you can select a Codename stored on one of the 5 available slots.

Once you are done don't forget to check the "Display Instead of Clan Name" box and click on the Apply button.

Anytime you want your Clan Name back just open up this Window again and uncheck the "Display Instead of Clan Name" box then click on the Apply button.

SIDE-NOTE: Having a DFQ detail window open before accepting it and switching channels, your quest is automatically canceled.

SIDE-NOTES:
- The time allocated uses a real-life timer, not the ingame clock. It may be handy to remember that 1 minute ingame = 2 seconds RL, 1 moonphase = 12 hours ingame = 24 minutes RL.
- The timer pauses when you are logged out
- You must have the eligible demons in your COMP at 1AM PST / 8AM GMT in order to receive their quests. If you are offline at this time, don't worry; they will ask you when you log in
- Storing demons into your depository will rid them of their quest for that day

p.s. silver, it's 3 attempts per day, including the ones you give up on.

SIDE-NOTE: Denying a quest before accepting it will NOT will not take up one of your three daily quests.

Also Rejecting the quest does not Count as a fail for your in a row count.
