I haven't seen any discussions of marching here that aren't focused on corps style... Anyone else here in a military style band?
I'm not too familiar with different styles of marching, but here is what my band does that is different from corps style, at least:
-No pit or color guard -High step, no roll step -Marching in straight lines rather than curves -Facing the direction one is marching, i.e. no backwards/sideways business (Well, we do use grapevine to march sideways sometimes. And I heard that we had backwards high step in a show once, many years ago...haha).

Military Style Forever,
Hehe, I'm in what you could say is a Military Band. Well more of a Sea Cadet Band. The drill isn't as intense as the 'Guard Drill'.
We have halts, about turns, left/right turns, right/left inclines, etc. :3

Corps Style! My band does pretty much what lil_kitty_TNA mentioned about her band: halts, left/right turns, etc. We don't do any high step (our BD yells at us and throws things if we even think about bending our legs).
