Anyone, like me for instance, think that somehow maybe daddy winchester will show up?
I don't know how the heck he would but it would be nice to see him at least once this season.
Even if it's like he appears in Sam and/or Deans dream, i'll take it.
I know this show has a habbit of bringing people back sometimes for a little bit, so why not John?

I don't think so. I mean it hasn't been said in the interviews (I don't think) and as far as I remember they didn't bring him back last season when you'd think Sammy would "see" him.
I think Daddy is in the past now. But I would like to see him, if only in a dream.

I'd like to see it because if I really had to choose the hottest Winchester, Daddy Winchester would win in a second it's the final season, y'know?
I've seen comments somewhere about JDM wanting to come back for an episode, whether it'll happen or not's another matter.
Also, technically, we did get Daddy Winchester in season four, he was just the young Daddy W.

I like me some older daddy Winchester, bada bing.
That sounds kinda gross, but you guys know what I mean. lol
Or it would be awesome if like, somehow magically, Cas could be able to communicate with John and.....I don't know where i'm going with this really. I guess, just be able to talk to him and tell the boys what he is sayin' and stuff. Like John is a spy for the angles even though he's in hell.
Something like that.

I have probably said this somewhere but watch P.S. I Love You, JDM is in it and he gives great full backside nudity!!! whee Made seeing that movie worth it.
He says he keeps having conflicting schedules but i hope they squeeze him in because if its the last season, then Papa Winchester is important.

Yus! I heard he'd love to come back, and it is Supernatural and he is John!
And I COMPLETELY agree. *gives him the first place medal* Maybe I like the gruff, older look. I dunno, but John is fo real sexy. XD
I would think they'd do their damndest to get him in by the end. I still think he should be God's vessel. razz Even IF he's dead. xD Bring him back, use his face, I don't care. razz I'm all for God = John, guys. All for it. xD

Whoa, that's a neat-o idea bout John beging God's vessel. Never thought of that...
As awesome as that is, wouldn't there be a possiblity that John would end up killing Sam, if he said yes to Lucifer?
omg I can see it:
Dean: "Dad don't!"
John: "Dude, i'm not your dad anymore. I'm God. and I-- what?"
Dean: *confused face* "What?"
John: Okay, but just for a few minutes.
Dean: *Looking around freaked out*
John: Dean, your father would like to say a few words to you.
Dean: eek
--Then 'John' is back for a few mintues while they talk about stuff and it's finally said that John wanted to be God's vessel because always knew that someday he would have to kill Sammy.--
John-"..Because when I asked you too Dean, I knew you would never be able to do it. It wasn't fair to ask fo you anyway. I brought him into this world...I can take him out of it. Luv ya, buh-bye!"

I figure Sam won't say yes so it'll work. xD BUT IF HE DID - It's God, I'm all for God being able to stomp Lucy's a** without killing the vessel. xD Or almost killing and then healing. Or...*rambles because she's clinging to her idea*

I remember hearing that Jared wanted Sam to die, like go down in a blaze of glory....
But C'MON! I don't wanna see either of them die. We've seen Dean die enough to last 20 more Season's. And..Sam died once so...yeah. No more dying plz.
Watch them both end up dying in the very last episode lol. Hope not...
Anyway, yeah if God kills Lucy but spares Sam's body and heals him that would be ol'right.

I think someone in the thread mentioned that neither Dean or Sam will be dying at the end. Cause that's just not cool!
I mean you're right, we've seen way to many instances with Dean dying (remember that terrible, terrible episode? where he just kept dying!!) and we know that if Sam dies then Dean is gonna do something to bring him back and it's like the whole cycle over again.

They either have to BOTH die, and play in the clouds with Cas.
Or neither of them die and drive off in the Impala with Cas.
Not just because I need the three of them together - but because of that goddamn cycle you mentioned. XD You can have one without the other! D: It's been proven! XD

It's not the most appropriate goodbye song.
I dunno. Carry On works best just because it's Supernatural's theme, man. It's just...I think it works. Even if it sounds like someones dying, I've changed my mind. xD It's fitting.

The song always gives me mixed emotions.
Happiness, because what else can a person ask for
but to find peace once their life is over?
but then sadness, because I'll miss them if they die. D;
And totally mourn over their fictitious lives like some loser.
But proudly. because I'm a proud loser. xD
But I agree, I think the song means a lot to the show,
the fans, and the plot.
It's like what my English teacher says when we analyze novels-
they wouldn't repeat it if it wasn't important.
