Chobi: It had been an eventful day of 'training' for little Mizer. He was proud of the progress he was making. Soon the cursed cheetah would be his and Pilate would reconize him as the greatest of the litter. Yeah , he was pretty big headed as he made his way back to the family den.
Pilate was probably gonna be a little upset he had wandered off on his own but really Mizer didn't care. He was tough and could beat up anything that tried to pick on him. Yeah, the little cheetah cub had MORE then an ego to speak of. He was a bit to confident in his abilities.
That didn't at all accure to him as he pranced his sweet little a** back towards the den though.
Polette: It wasn't like Mauja to linger like this. But he felt that he needed to stick around and familiarize himself with this area, so he could visit it again at later dates.
His eyes drifted lazily, and he inhaled the unique scents of the area. One thing he knew that would help him locate this place was her scent- the young cheetah that he had kind of literally screwed over.
He walked over towards the den, peeking his head around, looking for the young cubs that he knew were around here somewhere.
Chobi: Mizer was on his merry little way back home. Ah, the scent of mother and his siblings was now thick in the air. But wait a minute, some one else? The cub froze in his tracks as he eyed a stranger peeking around their territory. Mizer had no idea who this stranger was. It certianly was not Rahvu. The small cub puffed a little and took a few bold steps forward towards the stranger.
"Hey!" He growled. This stranger could very well be here to hurt Pilate and the others. Mizer was a man, he'd protect his mom and also his siblings. "What do you think you're doing here nosing around." The cheetah took a few more steps forward.
Rather then look threatening, Mizer just looked like an adorable ball of floof. Being so little it was hard to be intimidating.

Polette: Perking his ears, Mauja turned his head to focus on the small blue and white ball of fluff that approached him. He couldn't help but giggle at the strong words that seeped from the little cub's mouth. "Hm? Stranger?" So they didn't know about him. Well, it may have been for the best. If Pilate did have a special someone, then it was better that the cubs not know about him. They should only look up to the other male as a father.
"I'm just a....friend of your mothers." He smiled, trying to act as he would around any other cub. "I came to see her. Is she here?"
Chobi: Mizer's fur settled a bit. A friend of his mothers? She sure had alot of strange friends. His miss matched eyes just stared up at Mauja for a moment as he debated whether or not to believe this stranger. If he was telling the truth and Mizer snapped at him, then he would get punished. If he wasn't telling the truth and Mizer trusted him then who knew.
After a long moment of chewing over his possiblities, the cub nodded.
"She is, some where round here... but if she isn't in the den then she probably is looking for me." The cub took a few more steps over to this new male. He was bigger then Pilate and a little bigger then Rahvu. Mizer couldn't help but be slightly interested.
"You're so tall!" Mizer looked up at the stranger.

Polette: "Ah, I see." Mauja lifted his head, swiveling it around as he looked for her. She wasn't anywhere in the immediate area, so he figured he'd just sit here and hang out with this little cub that smelled like him.
"That I am, little guy." He smiled and winked, laying down on his haunches in front of the cub so they would be on the same level. "You'll be this tall too someday, I promise. Then you'll get all the girls' attention." If he was related to him in any way, the boy would be a heart-throb.
Chobi: The cheetah smiled at that and then quickly shifted to a proud pose. "Of course I will be," He said as he strutted about showing him self off. This stranger seemed to be pretty smart and Mizer liked him already. Just a gentle stroke to the ego and Mizer was puddy.
"So , old guy, how do you know my mom? " He put his paws on Mauja's snout and really looked at him, eye to eye... face to face. "You seem like you're a swell guy. Did you rescue her or something?"

Polette: Old guy? Mauja blinked a few times, finding it best not to get upset over a slight of tongue by a cub. His thoughts moved to the little one's question. He couldn't just come out and say "I made babies with her." Yeah, not the best route, that one. Maybe it would be better to just.....flub the truth.
"Yeeeeaaah." His eyelids paused between blinks, and he mushed together a few things in his mind. "She was feeling really sick, and I helped her through it." There. It wasn't a total lie, it just....wasn't the total truth.
Chobi: Mizer gave the stranger a smile. "You're all right then by me . My names Mizer," He continued pressing his face to Mauja's keeping his miss matched eyes on Mauja's eyes.
"Mom should be back soon but I can entertain you til then if you want to help me train," He let his forehead detatch from the bigger males and got into a playful fighting stance. "Ha," He swiped an unshiethed paw at Mauja in a playful manner, "Take that!" The cub jumped from one side to the other. Showing off the skills he had taught him self on his own to this stranger.

Polette: "Well, Mizer, my name is Mauja." So that was what she named him. It seemed to fit, given his mother's name. They just seemed so different that they matched. Of course, Mauja could be totally oblivious to a whole other section of names. Yeah. That sounded about right.
"Training?" A fighter? How dull. Mauja never had a taste for fighters, mainly because lions were fighters, and Mauja hated lions. Well, male lions, to be exact. They never seemed to like his lover-ways.
"Oh, I see you have some skills there, little guy!" He moved his large paws around, batting them on either side of the small cub.
Chobi: Mizer gave a chirp of laughter as he swatted back at the males bigger paws. "Take that and that and a little of this!" He latched him self onto one of the paws only to fall on his side. The blue cub laid there for a moment and stared, blinking. It wasn't long before he was up again swatting playfully at Mauja. Mizer was having a grand old time.
But it didn't take long for little Mizer to ware him self down. He sat and panted.
"You're tough.." He grinned at Mauja, "But I bet I'll be tougher." He puffed his chest out some proud. "I'm gonna resque the cursed one."

Polette: It was the first time that anyone had ever called him tough. But, to be fair, it was a cub saying it. A cub that was about a fifth his size. It made him smile, to see such an energetic little cub. His mother was energetic, too, so it must run in the family. Mauja's family, however.....well, it was a whole different story.
"I bet you will be, too. I'm not much of a fighter." He laughed, letting it drown out until he realized what the little cub was talking about. His eyes widened a bit as he put together what Pilate had said and what the small cub was saying now. "The cursed one....? But how will you rescue her?" There was little doubt in his mind now that they were talking about the same thing. Such a small world it seemed to be.
Chobi: Mizer grinned up at the bigger male and strutted a little, "I like to take a walk on the wild side my self, " He crouched down and looked back over his shoulder at Mauja, "No greater honor then to be the one tough enough to bring her down." He let out a forced laugh and smiled now sitting.
"I can take her when I'm older. Momma made a promise she'd help set her free so now here I am ..." And his siblings. Pilate never said it was Mizer but all of them she would count on. Mauja didn't need to know that though.

Polette: "Oh really? Well, it'll be hard." He grinned, leaning in close to the young cub's face. "And you'll have to train reeeaaally hard." He wasn't joking with that one. When he had met the cursed cheetah, she was, well.....difficult. Kind of conceited, too. In all his years, Mauja had never met a female who thought every male was out to make her theirs. But it Pilate had made a promise to her, then she couldn't have been so bad.
"It would seem as though your mother has been gone for quite awhile now." Mauja looked up at the sky, knowing that he shouldn't be there right now. "I think I should take my leave, and come see you all at a later date." He glanced back down at the small cub, taking in how he looked one last time. "We'll have another sparring match then, right?"
Chobi: The small cub nodded . He liked this new found stranger very much.
"Of course! Next time I'll show you all my moves," He puffed out his chest and strutted about trying to seem important. "And maybe next time mom can watch too," Oh right, mother wasn't back yet... Maybe she had gone off looking for him. Mii'zer felt him self deflate some. Guilty. He shouldn't have snuck off on his own.
Polette: "Of course! I'd love to see her again." He smiled down at Mizer, slowly moving into a standing position. His joints were a tad stiff from laying down like that for such a long time. He felt really old, but the truth was that he was just a few months older than the small cub's mother.
"But how about we keep this little meeting a secret, hm? I want to surprise your mother next time." He smiled one last time, then turned and started on his way. He couldn't help but feel saddened to have to leave one of his cubs, but he couldn't have left them in a better family.
Chobi: Mii'zer felt his ears fall a little as he watched the stranger go onward. A secret huh? He could keep that. The cheetah turned his back on Mauja and headed back into his den to wait for Pilates return. Hopefully she would come back with something good to eat for a great warrior.
