A lone figure sat in the corner studying her books intently. Surrounding her lie scattered papers with various figures and notes. She occasionally paged through her book whilst writing particular notes. Entranced in her studies the young girl seemed happy yet determined. She kept a concentrated look as it formed her features of her pretty face. Her wavy sienna colored hair hanging heavily over her shoulders. Indeed she loved studying more than anything.

Not far away sat another figure. His face set into a determined look as he attempted to figure out a new spell. Needless to say, it wasnt working as well as he'd hoped. Brownish/red tail flops back and forth in annoyence as his ears flop slightly.

The young girl lifted her concentrated gaze from her studies to catch a glimpse of the boy not too far from her. He seemed to be in a disposistion of misreading his spells. Which in Hermione's case was merely he wasn't concocting the incantation correctly.
It usually was a rather rude gesture to approach someone during magick. Even she knew this for she sat quite still observing him. His posture was wrong, and even holding his wand seemed a bit off. She flicked her tail with a bit of twitch.
Standing she approached him carefully after she had closed her book she currently was working from.
Perhaps he woudn't mind a bit of help.

Attempting to concentrate on the spell he was trying to work, he didnt hear her approach. His flopped ears twitch back and forth in annoyence. Each time he uttered the incantation and flicked his wrist, there was a small puff of blackish-grey smoke. The object he was indicating two staying stationary.

Hermione slowly approached him deciding to make her presence known.
Clearing her throat she smiled at him and spoke, "Excuse me. You're saying your incantation improperely. And your wrist needs to be more loose when you "swish and flick" smoothly. I thought I'd tell you." she said with a dignified look about her.
She was never a creature to simply let misguided things progress. She found it in her interest to help those that needed more guidance. Surely he'd take her advice.
She was being quite helpful in her eyes.

Jumping slightly, His blue-green eyes looked up at her for a moment before turning back to what he was doing. "I'm doing it just fine" He muttered stubbornly, trying it again his own way. Needless to say the object moved no farther then it had before.

Hermione shook her head frowning at his lack of appreciation. She had studied the inactations, passed the exams, and mastered the words. Why was he not listening to her?
She cleared her throat once more and spoke to him. "If you're doing just fine why is your incantation still wrong? Here let me help."
Flicking her wrist is a water like swish she concentrated on the object. "wingardium leviosa." Just as she had predicted the item moved slowly to the air, light as a feather.
Smiling she lowered it to the ground in a triumphant giggle. "There you see. Using the motions we're taught and the incantation perfectly will give good results." she said in a complimenting tone. "Oh how rude of me. I'm Hermione Granger... and you are?"

He watched her silently, an annoyed expression on his face. He was male after all, and like most didnt like being told how to do things. "I was doing it just fine, the feather must have been stuck on somethin' " He said stubornly, crossing his arms and looking away, causing his read hair to momentarily go in his eyes. As she spoke again though He looked over at her out of the corner of his eye for a moment before letting a sigh pass through his lips, blowing his long hair from his eyes before turning back to her. "I'm Ron, Ron Weasly.." He responded, looking at her with blue-green eyes.

The girl stood there and smiled that she had atleast got his attention. "Pleasure Ron Weasly. Ah I've read about your family in various books and such. I've read a lot about Harry as well. You guys are famous" she griined quite happily.
"Oh hey lunch is being served in the hall, care to join me? I mean if you'd want to that is." she queried with a stern yet happy expression on her face. The Neko stood there waiting for his answer, hoping to Gaia he wasn't rude like a lot of people she'd met in the school.

A slight blush came over his freckled cheeks at him being famous. That many people knew about him? "I've heard a good deal about you as well" He said a bit shyly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. His ears twitched though at the notion of food. He ran his tongue over his lips and nodded. "that sounds great" With that he stood from the wooden table he was sitting at and looked down at her. "Ready?"

Hermione smiled and nodded, "Great. Hrm lets see here." she announced pulling out a map. Her slender fingers running over the coordinates. "Ah yes. There is a new cafeteria in the school leading towards the East of Gambino. Hmm.. if we take the south route walkway and head east we'll be there in no time." she nodded approvingly.
Looking at the canine slipper she smiled brightly. "What can I say either than I've heard the cuisine is excellent over there. And well all this studying is making me a tad hungry. What about you Ron? What are you in the mood for?" she queried as she scooped her books up heading off to the eatery.

He blinked as a map was pulled out. He should probably get one some time, he usually just wandered around untill he ended up where he should have been. Looking over her shoulder, his light blue eyes scanned over the parchment. A slight pout formed on his lips as she spoke the location. "but we'll starve before we get there!" his stomach growled to prove his point, though it really wasnt that far away from where they are now. "Anything thats edible is fine with me" He said, grinning slightly.

Hermione couldn't help but laugh that he was possibly whining? She paced her furry hand over her mouth and looked into his eyes. "Well I don't have class for the rest of the day, sooo why not let you lead us to an acceptable food facility?" she purred with a deep smile giving the canine a little credit. a basic chance to prove he was something.
She stood there slightly impatient but tolerable to him not wanting to travel. "So what kind of food do you like, Ron? I do hope its not that cardboard variety." she murmered softly just under her breath. "When you're ready then."

His floppy ears twitched. Was she laughing at him? A renewed pout came over his face. "I'm finished with classes today" His ears perked again when she spoke, though one soon flopped forward. His pout was replaced with a grin. So he could choose the place now? He new just the place.. now what direction was that in again? He looked over at her again, making a face like he tasted something not to peasent, sticking his tongue out. "Cardboard isnt tasty at all. I like meat" He gave her a toothy grin before starting off in a direction towards town. "its this way!"
