"Pffffffffffft."
Rainfall practically stormed down the runs. It was rare to ever see the brown, white marked outskirter in a foul mood, but she certainly was now. It was yet another falling out with her marli, and the results were not at all lovely. She was at that age that young ones began to wander and fend for themselves, but her marli was not overly fond of the idea of her only kitten leaving the burrow.
Rainfall wanted to dig. She wanted to dig horribly. She wanted to dig her own burrow. Words were growled, rather unpleasant ones, as the youngster tried to protest, but little ground was won and her marli's words left marks beneath the outskirter's pelt. She was furious and the words stung her heart. She had little idea of what to do, now, other than to start her own burrow further along the warren.
"I'll teach 'er, I will!" She gnashed her teeth unhappily as she slipped along the runs.

Purple eyes looked about at the sunny day, her heart feeling a bit lighter than it had in a while. She'd fled her homeland after the terrible plague that killed most of her family. She had to start anew. Wood Lilly just had to carry on for the sake of her lost family. Did her sister survive? She wondered sometimes. All the time, really. She and her sister had fled like they were supposed to; when their parents told them too, but Lilly had been faster, healthier than the other.
So she'd been running ever since her outskirter days, trying to find a good, suitable plot of land to make her own den and start a family again. She wanted to keep her line going. I can't let it die with me...
That thought kept her going through some of the toughest times in her journey. The times when she had little to eat, nothing to drink. The times when she was ill and thought she'd die or when she got distracted by a handsome male. She hadn't had kittens, though. She wouldn't let herself completely succumb to the wishes of those males. She wanted a real mate, she wanted a real family. But it looked bad for her. That is, until a few days ago.
A few days ago she stumbled upon this land. A stranger had met her, suspicious of what she was doing here, where she belonged. She had to explain her situation to someone named Bracken. After Lilly had explained, this Bracken said she could stay here and attempt to start over. She'd started on her burrow that very day. It was far from finished even now, days later, there was just enough room for her to sleep comfortably at night.
Right now, however, Lilly couldn't bring herself to even start finishing it. Something felt like it was about to happen; and she didn't know if it were good or bad. She was laying in the sun, soaking it up and looking quite content, to say the least. Though she was a little unsettled because of that feeling. Looking around, she let out a small sigh.

The perturbed youth slipped from the mouth of the main run and blinked in the sunlight. She was hesitant, as all rabbits should be, and studied her surroundings closely. Her silver eyes darted to and fro, while her long ears pricked and listened closely to her surroundings. Even as angry as she was, she knew better than to storm out into the above without taking proper precautions.
She'd get snapped up by elil, for sure! Well, at least that would upset her marli. Then she'd be sorry.
The outskirter fumed as she slipped completely out of the entrance and loped through the warmth of the sun's rays. It certainly did feel pleasant out, and for that she was most thankful.

Something whizzed right past Wood Lilly, causing her to start and jump up, thinking she was under attack or being chased. However, as she peeked down the mouth of the run, she saw an outskirter stopping, being extremely cautious. "Oooh... She'd... She needn't be there!" But to call out to another was a dangerous thing to do, especially when they were vulnerable like that.
Making a quick thing of this, Lilly zipped down behind the outskirter and stopped a good foot away from her, keeping her voice low. "It's not safe out here! Won't you come back?" She said, voice full of concern and worry for her. Though she knew not this female, she still wanted everyone to be safe and sound. Plus this one's parents would surly be sad if she were to be scooped up. She would chew on the inside of her lip, ears twitching to every little sound. This place... it made her nervous though she'd come from it not to long ago.
She was living out here for a while a few days ago. Why was she so nervous about it now? It made no sense.

Rainfall was startled.
She had been certain to check for elil, yet this other rabbit had gone virtually unnoticed. Her fur stood on end as she heard Wood Lilly come up behind her and she was about to zig-zag towards some shallow scrapes she knew existed further down, but then a voice came.
It was a rabbit.
The outskirter breathed a sound sigh of relief as she turned on her paws to face the other female.
"I don't wanna. Ain't wanted that much 'neways. I got t' dig my own burrow, but I need t'eat first."

So the young outskirter needed to eat and dig her own burrow? For what reasons? The frown increased upon her face as she went even nearer the other. "Don't say that. Every family loves their children. You would probably be surprised as to how sad everyone was if you were to leave unannounced.... Come here, child. Come with me. I've stocked up plenty of food in my den." Though, she neglected to mention it was unfinished. But it was true, Wood Lilly had already stocked up on more than her fair share of food.

"It's just me'n my marli," She gave a deflated sigh as the older rabbit spoke. For some reason, she seriously doubted what Wood Lilly said, but curiosity was starting to peek out from underneath her sad fury.
"Really? I'm very 'ungry and all of that." As if to punctuate her words, her stomach gave a noisy growl. "So long as I ain't botherin' you..."

With a smile, she motioned the Outskirter to follow her. "Not a problem. Don't worry, little one, there's plenty. Too much for me to eat alone." Lilly was one of those who had to stock up and over stock on everything. Once she was in her burrow, she didn't often come out again until she absolutely needed too or unless something caught her attention. Lilly was just glad this other female caught her while she was out.

"If you're sure..."
Her ears flicked back and she moved slowly towards the older female. The usually brash creature was feeling almost shy; she wasn't exactly one who liked to rely on others. She liked to see herself as self-sufficient, but everyone needs someone now and again.
"My name is Rainfall..."

"Rainfall? That's a pretty name," she said softly, making sure to stay at a pace where Rain could follow behind her and not have to run. "I'm Wood Lilly." Once they got to her burrow, Lilly disappeared inside for a couple of moments before coming out with many different types of leaves, some little bitty potato things she found at one point on her journey, and even wild leeks. Those were her personal favorite.
"Eat up, little Rainfall. You ran so fast, I bet you need it." She sat back on her hind legs and put her front paws against her stomach, much like a Marli waiting for their child to eat. Though Lilly was no mother. "So, you and your Marli got into an argument? Do you... want to talk about it?"

"Wood Lilly is pretty, too!" The dark hued outskirter replied in a timid tone, something which was almost completely out of the ordinary to her. Usually she spoke loudly, brashly, or sassily. Even to those older than she.
But now she seemed more defeated than anything. Her mood seemed to lift fairly high as the older rabbit nosed flay from her newly constructed burrow. Rainfall's ears pricked curiously and her little nose twitched.
"A-are you sure? That looks delicious! And ah, uh... Maybe."
