ok well I dont know about the tournament event, but I think the next event should be the Winter Dance...2!! The winter dance was Ria High's first event, and I think a 2nd one would be great! You know, kind of like a tradition thing! whee Also considering how December is finally here, with christmas and all...you get the picture!
Well of course feedback would be great...will this event be a nay or yay!!! Personally I think the tournament will take to long to plan out. I think the winter dance event will be less stressful and be easier to arrange.
So what do you guys say!!???

Ehehehe!! I really think we should hold another Winter dance, because... I missed the last one and we need a cool event for christmas! But maybe we could add plot twists at the party this year... Like if you and another guy walked under a mistletoe you have to kiss... Or else... Or maybe if you kiss under the mistle toe you'll be bound together for eternity...
I dunno... I'm weird.
Point is, we should hold another Winter Dance!! >.<

DX. IRL, i avoid the mistletoe, it freaks me out when a guy goes 'Kissy kissy,' its just ew. But for RP characters, i dun't really mind. The dance idea sounds fun, plus more people will be on because its the holidays than the Holloween event.
I think we should have a ice skating rink as one of our threads. xD

Same here, I've never liked the mistletoe, but rp wise, it might be fun! >.< Maybe we should have like maybe an rp wise Secret Santa... Just kidding, it probably wouldn't work. sweatdrop
An ice rink sounds amazing!! If I was actually there, I'd spend most of my time at the rink. It's good to just skate around and do neat jumps and spins. >.<

well I suggest not doing it too close to christmas- most people are busy and not around. You could do it in january and call it a "snow ball"

Yes, we can try using a randomizer system online, or, we can just do this manually (IRL). Also, the aforementioned is for the Secret Santa idea. ^.^ Now, I apologize if my input is a bit odd, um... I've been gone for a while. But I am now one of the crew again, so yay!
Ok, so... I agree that this should not be held on Christmas, I certainly know that I won't be here. And I doubt that I'll be near a computer either. But anyway, if we can find a pleasing date, sometime before Christmas, then yes, let's do that. But if it will take us quite a while to actually plans things out, then let's try this out sometime in January, after New Year's Day.
Also, I like Sakura's idea for an ice skating rink; that sounds beautiful. ^.^ Oh, and I have no real comment on mistletoe... eh... I've never seen the real thing before. Still, I'm pretty shy, and I've never kissed (a male outside of my family), so I'd probably shy away from it (IRL). Um, hopefully I can bring Lenair back in some way before all of this. It wouldn't be as much fun to just watch things.
Hhmm... let's see, so we have Secret Santa, dancing, possible mistletoe action (^.^), and an ice skating rink. That's good so far. Um, maybe we could have someone dress up as Santa. Heh, if Kurai were to return for the party, maybe he could do that and hand out the presents. ^.^
Oh, and we must encourage people to dress up in Christmas wear or colors. Hhmm... so with this being held in the hall, there will be food, drinks, music, pretty lights (maybe), dancing, and anything that had been there during the first Christmas Ball. Oh, and we must have snow (I despise the lack of it in this new state). ^_^

Hmm, yeah... January does seem like the best month. I myself, is very busy in December. Nutcracker just finished for me, but now I have to write up a bunch of projects and tests. @.o On top of that I have to go Christmas shopping! Sides, I have a bunch of parties during Christmas. My Boxing Day party, my friends party, and the Nutcracker cast party. So yeah...
On the Secret Santa thing... Would it be rp wise giving a gift or... Going to the shops and buying an article of clothing (and/or getting a rare or uncommon/donation item?). I would love to do it anyways!
Every one in the second act of Nutcracker did Secret Santa, except we gave three presents. One for each performance. I got tons of chocolate, a funky hat and a few mangas. My secret santa knew me so well! >.<
I've never kissed another outside of my family before... And on Lenair's comment on what to wear... I, personally, don't mind it at all, but... When I ever went out to Christmas parties/dances, I'd wear a little black dress, or jeans and random T-shirt. Other times I would wear a fuzzy white sweater and then black velvet or normal pants. So, yeah... Encourage maybe, but I wouldn't want to show up at a party in a black dress and every one else in reds and greens. A lot, and I mean the majority of teenagers, mainly high school students, tend to go with the flow. So encouraging it is okay, it's just, people tend to do that and not think outside the box. (At least my school is like that... Minus the skeets, goths and emos.)
I dunno, but I like the idea of Kuri playing Santi Klaus. <--- Spelt like that for a reason. Santi = Santa ... Klaus = Klaus from Series of Unfortunate Events.
It wouldn't exactly work if we were to have it after Christmas though...

Hmm, the Secret Santa thing would be done RP-wise, heh, it's be a lot more interesting that way. Also, that way we would be able to save our gold for another time and season. ^.^
Um, as for dress, it doesn't really matter, though if you want to try going according to the season, that doesn't hurt either. And... I've sadly not attended a Christmas party since I moved to California... so yeah. Three years without snow and parties... ^.^;; Still, I stopped dressing in Christmas colors I think in my seventh grade year.
But I suppose that we can forget the Santa idea if we're doing this in January, unless we want to think out of the box and still have someone dress up as Santa. ^o^ Yeah, Christmas in January type of thing. Heh, since AFA (Anime Fans Anonymous) at my current high school always had a November-ween party. ^.^
Oh, but now I shall make a list of ideas, thought by us all... eh, from what I've seen. So, sorry if I forget something. ^_^;;

Yeah, you're right. It doesn't matter what you wear... Anyways...
We could have some one dress up as one of Santa's elves, because if this is done after Christmas, there's no point to a Santa. But you're right, if we want to think outside the box, we can... I just think it seems a little useless to me. I dunno.
As for your list of ideas, I like it. I think dancing and karaoke should be in one topic. So when we make topics for the party/ball, it could look like this;
Dancing & Karaoke
Secret Santa & maybe Santa who decides who you get
Winter Maze ( Maybe even a garden filled with pretty flowers and a light blanket of snow with an arch with a mistletoe on it!! Yes, I put some time to think about that one! ^.< )
Food and Drinks
Snow fun! ( Snow fishing, maybe a snowman building Contest )
Rooftop ( It's soo spiffy, we shoud use it again! >.< )
And the mistletoe could be in each of the rooms. What do you think? Should we add more, I'd like to keep it like this, as we have many ideas already.

I think all those ideas are great, but those are alot of ideas. If Kurai is going to be santa then Oliver can be an elf since he is small and yeah. 8-15th sounds nice, but not anything after, because finals start the 23rd or something in January, it was suppose to start the 21st but we got too much snow, and yeah, it was the darn snow's fault.
Hehe, I love snow, just not snow days when you have to make them up in the end of year, and have a short summer vacation. >_<. But if we were to do Secret Santa, it wouldn't be much of a secret. Because the person your giving a present to would already know your giving them a present. Wow, just go confused there. @w@;;
OHMAIGAWD! Rooftop all the way, thats where all the cool kids hang out. A.k.a Makie's runaway spot, she goes there when she is uber depreased on silly little things, like getting too close to Oliver. xD!
Oh! And i almost forgot about this Crew-only subforum, i guess i really don't go to these threads much. x3x

Hhmm, I guess that if we set up the Secret Santa proviso publicly, then yes, everyone would know who to give to and receive from. But that's probably a lot easier than telling the participants separately. I guess we can make a Secret Santa topic near the time of the ball. We'll set up people there and if you guys want, they can choose for themselves (or we'll just set everyone up). And the deadline for participants could be the day of the ball, or maybe the day before. Heh, depending on how long it takes people to conjure up presents. ^.^
But now, another matter is selecting which topics each of the crew will create. I'll make another list.
Topics
1. Dancing and karaoke (with food and drinks)
2. Winter Maze
3. Winter Fun (such as snow fishing, snowball fighting, sledding, snowman building, etc.)
4. Rooftop (of the ballroom?)
5. Ice-skating rink (with music in the background)
6. Santa's throne--near the ballroom (with either Kurai or Oliver... or both)
Also, present exchanging can occur at any time. All you have to do is locate the person. And, mistletoe will be found everywhere, except for the rooftop.
Hmm... and hopefully the date can be between January 8th and 15th.

Makie runs away alot and for silly reasons. She has no self confidence whatsoever! It's kind of strange because she's the total opposite of me. @.o It's still fun to play her though!
