So I slept for a good over 10 hours last night, which is the first night in over 3 weeks that I sleep for over 5-6 hours. Apparently the apartment building's CEO finally sent the bailiff to tell my upstairs alcoholic neighbours to STFU or they'll be evicted. Only took 3 weeks and 3 complaints, but ah! Let's see how long this lasts...
And the worst was the night between last Sunday and Monday. The neighbours were running water for almost an hour after midnight (silence in this building starts at 10pm) and I couldn't sleep. When I finally fell asleep I got rudely awakened at 4.07 am because the neighbours were drunk (as usual) and yelling at each other on the balcony. Oh, and moving furniture. I got up at 5.11 unable to sleep and went to work super early. I had a really tough time at work after a mere 3-4 hours of sleep.
I've had bad physical and mental problems because of weeks of lack of sleep: my coordination is ********, I can't remember dates or what day it is, I can't walk straight, I can barely stand up for long times, my muscles are weak, my speach is slurry and it's difficult to think (especially in languages), my head hurts, my eyes are swollen, it's tough to type correctly and I've lost my appetite. I hope my neighbours are quiet now so I can get back to normal. emo
TL; DR - Mana's really tired and ******** up thanks to her alcoholic neighbours.

I know how ya feel, cept for the annoying neighbors part... I can't sleep unless I'm dead tired at any time, no matter the noise level. I've laid in dead silence for over 7 hours attempting to sleep. Insomnia sucks.

Apartment buildings suck. D: I'm so going to move out as soon as I graduate, which sadly is over a year away. emo
Vlad - I feel for you, that must be terrible. *hug*
But, I was at home last night and slept in my brother's bed (he was away) and holy crap I slept so well! I'm so energised now and hyped up! I slept for maybe 11 hours and got up naturally at 10 am, since I wasn't feeling sleepy at all anymore. It's wonders what a well slept night can do to a person. 3nodding

I could never live with such annoying people living above me, I'd kill them, litterally. I need sleep, if I don't get sleep then I get grumpy, then violent if it occurs more.

They've been totally silent for the past two nights, which has surprised me a lot. I'm afraid to sleep though, because I'm nervous on how long the silence will last. sad

Eight-point plan for good, happy revenge if they pipe up again.
1. Buy some fresh fish, about a half-dozen, preferably with the head attached.
2. Stash fish in a warm place outside your home for a week or so, in a location you know won't be disturbed.
3. Retrieve fish.
4. Sneak into a*****e neighbors' apartment.
5. Plant rotting fish inside/on all furniture. Places like under sofa cushions and mattresses work best.
6. GTFO.
7. Hell if I know.
8. Profit.

Fish is so delicious. I loved swordfish, we should all get together hand have a seafood and pancake party....on different nights of course, I don't think fish and pancakes go well together.

I guess 3 nights was the maximum I could sleep well for on one go. sad At 10 pm last night there was ruckus in the hallway and I went to listen and see from the peephole of my door. Turns out my drunk alcoholic upstairs neighbours had managed to get their key stuck and broken inside their lock and they couldn't get in and they were yelling and cursing to no end. A bit later another neighbour opened their door and invited them in, because "we're all drunks and we have to stick together" or something like that. So then I had 3 alcoholics in one apartment for half an hour. At 10.30 pm the neighbours got out again and decided to try and fix their door by themselves and not call an expensive lock smith to do it. At 11.30 pm, one hour later they were still at it, cursing and yelling in the hallway banging on the door with tools and stuff. I had to put earplugs in. Again. I woke up at 3.09 am with one earplug out and guess what? PARTY TIEM. crying Obviously my neighbours had got in somehow and were celebrating their victory over the door. I put the plug back in and tried to sleep. I woke up at 5.34 am and took the earplugs out and managed to sleep for less than an hour without them before I had to get up for work. And now I'm really tired again. ********. emo
