Mane: Mixed colors of the body (#8B7A6A) and stripes, but generally on the darker side. It should stand on end, and be short, but not uniform; very bushy. Also, some of the fuzz will cascade out onto the body, beneath the backbone edits, and very little to none should protrude from the backbone edits from the shoulders on,
like so, and barely reach the base of the ears/top of the head.
Tail: Bushy, moderately thick, just like a RL striped hyena's tail; mixed colors of the body and stripes, but generally on the darker side. Please see the refs below for both shape and color.

Facial Markings -
Dark face (muzzle) and ears in almost a
roan type pattern, with a very dark area beneath the chin.
Back - I'd like a semi natural back bone sitting where the back scales would normally be; they will be apart of her, literally growing through her skin as horns and antlers do. I'd like the vertebrae to be a bit larger than normal, particularly those in the upper neck (I'd like them to jut out a bit more) that way they will be easier to see, but not too large. Also, the more bones you can fit in without looking over done, the better. I'm not too picky on the type of back bone you choose to reference (deer, bovine, etc), but I have included a few below that I really like. I've also included several creatures with raised back bone edits for inspiration. Color = Natural Bone Color (not bleach white please)

Guild Wars HellhoundMane - It should contain mixed colors of the body and stripes, but generally be on the darker side. I'd like it to stand on end until past the shoulder backbone edits (where it will cascade out onto the body), and be short, but not uniform; very bushy. Here is my

Jewelry - I'd like her to have a rat skull necklace on a black, braided cord, with 6 silver beads spaced apart along the cord (not quite even though); between the skull and first set of silver beads I'd like 6 dangling citrine gems (3 on each side) which will be small, but not too small to see, and should hang at different lengths. Generally speaking I'd like the rat skull to be large enough for the details to be generally visible, but not unnaturally large. Perhaps if a Kirin was the size of a human an appropriate size for the skull would be the larger of these two
cross pendants. I'll leave most of this up to interpretation however.
Rat Skull Necklace SketchThe tail will have a handful (maybe 6 or 7) of small, intricate braids, each of which is adorned with a few small rat bones (preferably tail or other segmented types), silver beads, and citrine gems (circular please). These beads will be braided right into the hair, and I'd like the darker citrine at the bottom of the braids it's included in. Please see the refs below.
Tail BraidsThe ears should include two fine silver talons (one in each ear near the bottom), a bone plug (in the left ear, a bit above the talon), and two rat rib bones (in the right ear toward the top), one of which should poses a small black cord with two citrine gems dangling from it. The ref below shows approximate locations relative to the ear, and what the sizes of the earring's gauge should be where applicable (relative to a human ear).

White Plug (it's not bone, but it's white ^^;; )I'd like the top half of a lion skull to sit on her head or face (the way a lion skull seems to be made I'm not so sure it would sit with it's sockets over her eyes more so than it would sit higher...almost like a helmet...I'm going to leave the interpretive anatomy up to you); I'd like the canines to be intact, and have inlays of citrine gems in them (the number, position, size, etc. is up to you).
This will be the only non exclusive adornment.
