I was just thinking, maybe you guys might like to see this? I don't know. Its a patition to get a Photography sub-forum in the Art Discussion forum.
I think thats a great idea, because EVERY time I post a thread with some question or comment about photography, it gets lost amongst all the drawing, painting, and "SOME1 DRA MEH!!!" Threads.
I figured I would link it here in the guild, just in case any of you thought this was a good idea to.

I said it when the idea first came up in the AD, and I'll say it here. It's a bad idea. (imo) Gaia's art forums are already embarrassingly messed up and fuddled with spam. The last thing we need is a space to officially cheapen photography as an art.

Never said it wasn't.

"...Cheapen photography as an art" =/= "Photography is not art."

she just meant that all the spam and random crap in the art forum would leak into a photographer's forum and we would get all the random snapshot stuff being labeled as art. at least thats how I understood it... sweatdrop
