So. I might finally be getting a job. Yay.
I'm trying to work something out with the employees at my local shop over here. I wouldn't be working for cash, I'd be working for gear. Works out well in my favor, because they have an Epiphone Joe Pass and a Mesa Lonestar just sitting next to each other, and they happen to look very lonely. : D
In shorter words, I might be getting a job at a music store, and if I'm a good boy, I get to own a very sexy rig. Yay for me!
You guys ever worked for any stores? Got any tips I should remember? If an interview is needed, is there anything I should remember?

Just don't be a jackass. Try to sound somewhat intelligent. Employers are more desperate than you'd think, especially for easy jobs that require non-idiots.

Hect Just don't be a jackass. Try to sound somewhat intelligent. Employers are more desperate than you'd think, especially for easy jobs that require non-idiots. Well, they like me there already, I've been coming in for god knows how long now so I'm well known. I just don't want to somehow inadvertently blow my chances of ever getting a job there. So, you think I might have a chance then?

If they sound interested you're probably already being considered. Just take it easy and you should be employed.
Come to think of it, I need to start working more. 8 hours a week isn't cutting it. I want to buy too much s**t.

I work as electronics sales at a local Best Buy. I'm lucky to get eight hours a week.

I'm supposed to clean stuff, but I just end up coming in and doing homework. It's pretty nice. All of the employees get to work out for free (which isn't really a problem, since I can just do it at school), but pretty cool nonetheless if I'm not on campus.

I wish I could work for gear, that would be pretty sweet. Sadly, real life sucks money out of me like no tomorrow. I work full time, go to school and still barely cover my bills D:

I haven't the time, nor the transportation though.
When I pick up a car then I'll start working.
