I feel like making a roleplay featuring a theme mainly concerned around magic and warriors etc. I was going to join MyaoMarjoly's thread, but there were no openings, so I thought I'd make this one.
The Story
The year is 473PA (Pre-Apocalypse) and a young mage by the name of Corelus has begun his training of the ancient magics, a powerful force taught to those few with the ability to learn it.
Corelus had been training for nearly a year when the news came to him of his home town's destruction. The dark lord Melek Taus had sent a strike force of 100 chimaerae to lay siege upon the little town of Trela.
Upon hearing news of the death of almost everyone he loved, Corelus vows to take revenge upon Melek Taus.
Corelus employs the help of his 3 best friends, and another aquaintance whom has extraordinary talent in swordsmanship.
With his party of five, Corelus sets out on a journey into the heart of the shadowlands to destroy Melek Taus.
Thus begins the adventure...
Needed:
Friend 1: Mayaserena - 15 - Knives and hands, quick thinker.
Friend 2: Ellora - 15 - Double Blades, agile, Novice Necromancer.

heart oo...can i be a friend?lol...hmm...character is a girl...15 or 16 yrs old...name is Mayaserena...but u can just use a nickname razz ....at first sight looks like a normal very pretty girl but is deadly fast-fighting wise n mentally razz ...fast/quick n smart thinker....likes to use daggers n hide them in various places in her clothes...is very good at brawling(fighting without weapons) xp ...i think thats it for the moment.... heart
edit: she can be 15 yrs old atm...turning 16 in a few months or sumthing...

It begins...
Corelus looked at the burning town, his burning town with a tear running down his cheek.
Mayasenara was the only survivor he had seen so far. He hoped his other friends had survived...
Corelus turned to Mayasenara, she had been his friend since the day she could talk, and wiping the tear away said "Maya, are you OK? I'm going to leave here... I must. I vow to destroy Melek Taus for what he has done here. You can come with me if you choose."

heart Hastily wiping the tears off her off her face and rubing her already sore eyes Maya stands up and puts a comforting arm around Corelus. "I with you till the end but please, stay a while, there may be others" Maya stares into the fires with pain and anguish in her eyes. "There MUST be others" she whispers to herself. heart

Ellora (i forgot to pu t my name biggrin )
slid free of the smoking wreckage. Luckily her house was only liked by the blazing flames.
she stood up.
There was only the creak of breaking wreckage and the crack of flames. Nothing else. Just her.
Ellroa rubbed her arms fitfully, fighting back tears of remorse and panick.
"anyone out there?" she managed to call out

The voice came from somewhere in the midst of the wreckage. It was difficult to make out what the girl said, but it clearly sounded like Ellora.
"Come Maya, let's go find her." Corelus said, with more than a hint of excitement and hope in his voice.
He began to trudge through the wreckage towards the call of his friend's voice.

Ellora coughed smoke from her lungs, gently rubbing the skin around minor burns. Thankfully she was able to escape the collapsing wreckage of her house before anything worse could happen.
then came the sound of crunching, more rythmic than the crash of debris on the ground. Quickly she darted behind a big pile of wreckage.
Whoever it was might be survivors, or even what ever/whoever had done this...

heart "Ellora!" Maya calls desparately "Ellora!" Maya frantically starts runs towards a collasping building that was once Ellora's house. heart

Corelus looks after Maya. "It will not do to get my hopes up... but for what it's worth, I hope she's alive," he thinks to himself as he walks after Maya.

Corelus is still about five meters behind Maya when she cries out the name of another of his greatest friends, Ellora.
He hopes that she is still alive and speeds up somewhat.
