The forest trees where bare from fall, and the ground was covered in snow from the winter cold. But none the less Yumoa was out searching. Searching for a new home with her brother Tsuche. They where going to find it... A place where they and they're brothers and sisters could live in peace, away from the humans that had torn them apart. All they needed to do was find it.. The perfect place.

Yumoa sniffed the air a few times, before looking to Tsuche. Her hair had started growing agian, and was now down to her shoulders. Her furr was long too.. Aprently the growth was from her winter coat growing in. She brushed a bang out of her eyes, before looking at her pawprints in the show.
"Would you rather a cave or a den, brother?" she asked.

Yumoa let out a flick of her tail and a little snikker. Before she playfully rammed into her brother's side.
"I would like to find a cave like when we where still with Moma and Papa and the rest of the pack. You remember it? It was up on that hill side.. And it had that little creek running threw it." She said, before she let out a sigh.. She missed those days. Back when everything was right in the world, and they where with their family and friends..
"I can even smell that damp cool cave water right now.." She said, before blinking. Wait a minute. She could really smell it!
"Brother, you smell that too?" She asked, turning her head to the east.

Tsuche was right. It wasn't their cave, they where way too far away for that. But they sure smelt something!
"It's got to be a cave! Come on brother! Maybe we can use it!" She said, before she began running ahead of him, not even waiting. She ran as fast as she possibly could, tail wagging behind her. Yes! That would be perfect! A new cave where she and the others could live! And she could raise her pups with her sisters! It would be perfect! Perfect! And it looked just so as it apeared in the distance.. The pup still running towards it.

.... Hopefully her brother was following after.

Yumoa heard Tsuche... But she didn't really listen.
"It'll be safe! I know it! It's our new home!!" She called out, dashing at full speed. She leapt over a rock, twisted around tree branches, and ran right into the cave... Right into it without even checking to smell what might be inside. Not a smart move.

"Brother! Brother come see! It's perfect!" She called out, looking around. There was plenty of space for them all to live and sleep, and for babies to play! And there was even a small creek running threw it at the end, leading to deep caverns inside. Just like they're old home! It was perfect! Simply perfect! Or at least it seemed so...

Yumoa stopped dead in her tracks as she saw the mountain lion leap out. Aprently her calling out had waken it from it's sleep... And it was angry.
"RAAAAWR!" It screamed, before swiping at Yumoa, but she had already turned tail to run.

"Brother!" She called out, running towards him. "Run, Tsuche! Run!" She screamed, calling out to him. Pausing as she waited for him to go out of the cave with her. As the lion charged stead fast.

"Tsuche are you crazy?!" Yumoa yiped as he ran back towards the lion. That idiot! That lion would tear him to peices by himself.. By himself. Yumoa then perked her ears forward and snarled, running after Tsuche. Wolves could take down anything in a pack! Saftey in numbers! And even though sickly Shiran, scared Reevee, or mental Kaiyumi was there. She'd have to make up for them!

The lion continued to charge towards Tsuche, aprently not threatened by the attack. And just as it was about to leap forward to lunge at the small pup.... It tripped over a rock and went rolling past them, towards the entrance.
"Reerooow!" it howled. What perfect timing..

Yumoa yelped as her brother landed on her, and sent her tumbling. The lion had let out a loud squeek when they landed upon it, taking the breath out of it. Yumoa saw this as a chance to escape, while her brother seemed to see otherwise..
"Common Tsuche!" She barked, grabbing onto his tail with her teeth, and dragging him away from the lion, around the cave, and into a large slope of rocks.

The lion laid there breathless for about... ten seconds. Then it was getting up agian, snarling as it eyed the two pups. It then began to persue agian, lunging with hunger.

Yumoa continued to lead Tsuche up the hill. They where no match for it up close. But maybe if they found some way to defeat it from far away.. Yumoa scanned the area with her eyes as she ran, before spotting the perfect set up. Anyone who watched cartoons would know this one. But chances are that lion didn't...

"Tsuche!" Yumoa called back, looking to her brother.
"You see that long rock rested on that other one! Go sit on the end on the ground." She said, before she began climbing up a hill. Yumoa had an idea... One she thought might work.
