A 85 credits
B- 75 credits
C- 65 credits
D- 45 credits

Junior Scoring:

Senior Scoring

B- 150 credits
C- 125 credits

Now, what do you do in an exam exactly? You roleplay a specific situation of our choosing. The situation you rp is changes each exam, so be careful which character you choose to take the test. Each test taker is limited to four posts. Yes, only four! That's the tricky part. You must complete your rp in just four posts! But don't get discouraged! Its really easy if you follow our outline.

Kurai's basic layout

Length and Pacing: How well paced is your RP? I mean it could be 6 chapters but it could just have your character twiddling your thumbs the whole time. Pacing is important to our RPs. It helps other Users respond better and understand better.

General grammar rules: You know. What you learned in English class.

Personality: Personality is one of the keys to Ria High. Its what makes Ria High unique and each character fun to interact with. We will be looking forward to how your character would respond to various situations. This includes Fighting style, Speech, and descriptions of how they look.

Use of Environment: You know. The Landscapes and all. You are, after all, in this metallic sphere-like room. With another freakin monster! Describe the monster well and the environment itself. Make sure that you also explain how your attacks look like if its all projectiley and stuff ^^.

Details: Details are important to the post too. I mean, you can give a good backbone to an RP with coordinated moves and all. But make sure its good enough so that the reader can follow along easier with your posts!

If you would like to sign up, post your screen name and the name of the character you will be using in this thread. If you have more than one character, please choose just one. Credits are given to your screen name, and thus apply to all your characters, not just the one who earns them. Also, I could use help with judging. If you are a mod and would like to help judge the exam (as long as you're not participating in the exam), post your name here stating you would like to help judge.

Once sign ups are closed, I or another judge, will create a thread for you to rp in. It will be in this sub-forum. In that thread there will be a copy of Kurai's guideline, the grading scale, and a randomly picked field for you to complete your task on. You will have exactly two weeks from the time your thread is created to finish your four posts. If you are unable to finish by that time, and have a good reason as to why you weren't able to, you might get an extension.

Senior Only Variations
Blindfolded(obviously the character has to fight blindfolded.)
Handcuffed(Hands cuffed behind their back in powerful chains. they can move their hands under their legs to the front, but they cannot remove the chains.)
Leg-cuffed to opponent(tester is cuffed by one leg to a 20 ft. long chain, at the other end of which is their opponent.)
Ball and chain(tester has to lug a 15LB steel ball around, chained to their leg. they can lift it and carry it, but doing so consumes lots of energy)
Heavy Haze(A very thick haze is spread throughout the environment, 'hazing' the tester's vision greatly.)
Perfect Silence(The opponent cannot be heard for whatever reason.)
Sedated(The tester has been slipped a sedative at some point before their test, causing them to 'Slow down' overall by about 1/5 of their reaction time/speed/stamina/power.)

~Ice- Pretty simple with this one. The floor becomes solid ice. There are random chunks of ice protruding from the floor. And of course, you have little to no traction.

~Desert- Pretty much nothing but massive sand dunes. You sink down into the sand, which slows you down a LOT. If the wind blows, the sand gets kicked up, which obscures vision.

~Open Field- A plain grassy field with nothing on it.

~Ocean- A mini ocean about 40 feet deep. There are five floating platforms for battlers to stand on. The plat forms bob around and it's really hard to keep your balance on them.

~Dense Forest- The arena is packed from wall to wall with dense, tropical trees. As in any tropical jungle, there are lots of vines and other such things to get tangled up in.

~Land of Fire- Parts of the arena floor sink away, leaving behind pits of lava. Also, pillars of fire erupt from the floor periodically

~Concrete- A plain concrete floor.

~The Abyss- Near complete darkness engulfs the arena. Dark energy is abundant in this field.

~The Sanctuary- Opposite of the Abyss. Light energy fills the arena. Its very bright!

~No floor- The floor drops away leaving a pit filled with spikes. There are levitating platforms at varying heights, going all the way to the top of the arena. It's hard to jump from platform to platform, and trust me, you don't want to fall.

Junior and Senior Areas
Downtown Tokyo- You find yourself in downtown Tokyo as a result of kidnapping!
But hold onto your pants. Before you figure out what's going on, or how to get home, you get to face off with a 50 ft. tall lizard! It towers over the buildings of Tokyo, knocking them over like a toddler with toy blocks. People run screaming and panicking all around you, and the military joins in, firing everything they have at the creature, but nothing seems to work!
It's up to you to save Tokyo!

Yellowstone National Park- While visiting Yellowstone national park during a Tenshi Field Trip, you get seperated from the group while hiking through the woods! Soon night falls, and you must fend for yourself against the wilderness. After setting up a base camp and gathering food for the night, you go to sleep, only to wake up to an intruder in your midst; BIGFOOT! He's tall as all hell(a looming 10 ft tall!) and as fuzzy as you'd expect. He's after your food and supplies! You must defend yourself while keeping him away from your things!

Mt. Vesuvius- Chaos! In the middle of your trip to Italy, a thief steals your passports and money. You need at least the passport to get home! You chase him frantically, and eventually find yourself tailing him up the side of Mt. Vesuvius. You catch him and confront him, and a showdown ensues!

Roman Coliseum- In a mistranslation, you find yourself signed up as a gladiator in a roman tournament! You must battle for your life and limbs in the colisuem!

Oceanic Oil Rig- In the Middle of your luxury cruise, your boat actually sinks! People scramble for life rafts, and in the chaos, you're left without one! You have no choice but to abandon ship. Making out the shape of land in the distance, you start swimming, and come upon an abandoned oil rig! Everything is old and rusty, the equipment looks outdated as all hell, and everything creaks eerily when touched. Upon investigating the mess hall, you come upon a phantom! And he wants you gone! When you refuse to leave for obvious reasons, he attacks you!
