So, ya know how whenever a new movie comes out the media always makes a big deal out of only one or two people that work on it.
"From the acclaimed screen writer of [other popular title here]!" "Directed by [big name person], the mater mind behind [other well known work(s)]!" "Starring [all these hot and sexy people that can't act but you love anyway]!"
Then you come out of the movie and all comment on how engaging the plot was or how the director really brought the story to life or how the actors... were hot. But does anyone ever stop to think about the fact that it was a team effort? That it wasn't just one of them but all of them (and an army of stage hands, extras, audio & visual experts, set designers and make-up artists) who really made it what it was?

One of my best friends is a professional dancer, and she has this thing where, whenever we watch a movie together (in the theatre or at home), we have to sit and watch the whooooole credit run through. She also claps at the end of the credits if she thought the show was good. She's really into appreciating the effort of the whole. I sit through all credits because of her, but I don't usually clap, lol.

It just really annoys me when people say "[This actor] is in [this movie] so it must be good!" When actors can only do what they're told to do and say what they're told to say. Its not any one person that makes a movie good, it the everything.
