It wasn't very long ago that he had become a stray and he was still learning the many, many things that there were to know in this new life of his. He didn't have a 'territory' or a group of friend cats that he hung around with. Nope, so far Taiko was a loner.
And as far as he was concerned it would stay that way till he found a place that suited him. Maybe he would never find somewhere to call his own? Who knows, maybe some random string of events would toss him into the whirling need to run his own territory. Only fate knew the answer to that.
A drifter by nature the black Bombay walked his way down the street having already gotten himself a meal from the two legged humans who were always everywhere. Most people liked cats and most would feed strays so for someone as cute and as well groomed as he was it wasn't hard to get a meal. He loved the way the wind of the early morning swept though his hair and unlike most cats he was out and about in the day, and sleeping at night. That way there was more of a chance of hand outs. After all who honestly wanted to work for a meal?
That little purple gem swung back and forth and caught the light as it would sometimes send little white balls of light skittering over the sidewalks. At first he had been entertained by this and had chased the ever elusive orbs, but after learning that it was a game that he could never win he had given up and instead tried to use the light to play with others the way that it had done to him. No harm no foul.
Speaking of he could smell the roast duck from one of the near by shops and he lifted his nose to it, stopping a moment before moving on. He wasn't one to eat when he wasn't hungry. Nope, that lead to a fat and lazy cat and well... he wasn't going to stand for that. Taiko was to vain to let himself be fat and lazy, sure to keep himself in good shape and fit.

Saint Nicholas had been serching around the town for presents for some of the cats around, He had made it his personal mission in life to bring christmas to those here in the town. He hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking his head was down as he marched down the street. His eyes fixed on the list in front of him, Somehow he had all the names of the cats in the town, or at least all that he could get from the other's he'd talked to. He was mumbling to himself while he had been walking. Soon he found himself walking into another cat, This cat was a shirtless bombay. He blushed as he looked up at the other, " Oh goodness. I'm sorry." He muttered to the other. He wondered what this cat's name was this cat might have been on the list, or he might not have he didn't know and now he felt like an idiot. " Really gosh I'm so sorry." he said with a sigh.

High up in a tree, enjoying the sun, a dusty-colored bobtail tilted an ear back slowly when someone began talking nearby, apologizing it seems. The bell in her hair jingled lightly as Demi sat up and looked about. Deep bronze-colored eyes paused on a blue-furred cat dressed in a striking red suit. He seemed to be the one apologizing, to a dark-haired tom who seemed to be missing half of his outfit. Both ears lifted forward at the pair of cats, and the young bobtail grinned to herself, moving to stand on the branch. Demi stooped to pat down her fluffy black skirt briefly, then tugged at the bottom hem of her shirt and jumped down from the tree. Her little stub tail flickered a few times, and the young female brought a hand to her hip before sauntering over to the two toms.

Taiko smiled at the cat that had bumped into him, looking at him and waving his hand slightly. "No blood no foul." He said as he leaned in to try to get a peak at the list. "What are you up to?" He asked as he took a step to the side so that he might have gotten a better look at the list. "Looks like you're going shopping." He said as he looked up at him as if waiting for an answer before the motion of the other cat had caught in the corner of his eye.
It was a bobtail. She didn't look bad, but then again he wasn't all that interested in anyone at the moment, to busy with learning his new surroundings, after all this was much, much bigger than the one bedroom apartment that he had lived in. At least today wouldn't be all that boring. The cat in the red suit, well that was odd, but meh, he could deal with it. Just another cat.
The female seemed to have attitude, the hand on her hip and he had seen her tug at the hem of the shirt that fit her so nicely. The bell was a nice touch and he smiled at the irony of the cat having it in her hair and not on the ground rolling around and playing with it like he would have. Then again she wasn't him, she was a whole other cat. Of course they would be different. Must be a female thing.

Saint Nicholas looked from his list to Taiko, " I'm trying to get some shopping done early." He said to the other before he looked over at Demi, With that attitude this cat had to be one of the naughty list. He eyed her slightly as he thought about the numbers of cats on that list, of course he couldn't narrow the list down just looking at her, there were numerous females on list. He looked back at the male in front of him. "Theres a pretty long list here, I have to try to get it done sooner rather than later, I couldn't be running around just days before christmas trying to find presents, that would be simply nuts. Not to mention it would hinder me from delivering the presents." He said smiling softly. He it was only October but the Russian blue was already ready for christmas.
He turned his eyes back to Demi, " Can I help you young lady?" He asked her hoping maybe to catch her name, Then he could connect more names to faces. Then it his him that he might not have either of these cats on his list, " May I ask both of your names?" He asked biting his lip softly.

Demi had drawn near enough to hear both sides of the conversation now, and she tilted her head at the red-clad cat. She met the eyes of both him and the dark-furred bombay, grinning at each in turn, before coming to a stop at the Russian tom's shoulder. "I'm not exactly looking for assistance, but thanks for asking," She mewed absently, peering curiously at the list he was holding. At his inquiry, bronze eyes flickered back to his face and she flashed another grin, pulling back and straightening. "'Name's Demi," She mewed lightly, swiftly shifting into a question, "what was that 'kurisumas' thing you were talking about earlier? You give people stuff?" Her ears flicked before lifting forward inquisitively.

(( I'm sorry... I won't be on for a while. I've just suffered a crushing emotional blow and... I just need a break from about everything right now. I'm sorry. I just can't handle all this at once. Not after that. ))
