Why did you join the GCD Elves -
Out of character: I wanted to become a part of this group who simultaneously create the illusion NPCs you can interact with while making users happy by spreading holiday cheer. (That sounds cheesy, I know.)
In character (as this elf): Quite frankly, I needed a job. This one is torture, but... ah well, I do enjoy it.
Are you ready for classes to begin - Hm. Yes
What are planning to gift - Whatever suits the user's needs/wants within a 20k price range =)
Are you ready for Christmas - Emotionally, definitely! But I won't feel ready until I have 5 million gold at my disposal - which won't happen soon.

Why did you join the GCD Elves - (IC) Because I love to fulfill wishes whee (OOC) I only found out about the concept this year and I love it whee I was going to go on an anon gifting spree anyway, so why not do it as part of the elves and support the group?

What are planning to gift - Wishlist items for those who are particularly worthy (EIs, MCs, RIG prizes etc), or RIG prizes 10-45k to support their quests.
