 A small sigh left his lips as he moved near the edges of his territory. His pack was small, but thriving, though he was a bit more careful these days. There were two wounded wolves that had taken refuge in his care-den, but Reaction was busy taking good care of them.
His mind drifted to the beginning of his old pack. Lera was by his side and there were several young pups that he had taken in, with hopes of helping them develope into the wolves they were meant to become. Some stayed, some found their own paths early in their lives.
His entire view of life had changed since those days, with Lera long gone and having spent a few years on his own since the pack broke. Now he was a bit more careful, unable to fully trust right away, but.. He was more mature, knew how to help without being over baring or trying to force those into what they didn't want.
He was becoming a better leader and that much meant a lot to him.
A scent floated past his nose that he had not smelt in a very long time. His head tilted a little as he glanced around. That scent.. it brought him back to the thoughts he'd just had, of those pups he'd taken in..

Kamali yawned as he padded along side his daughter, tail flicking and ears perked. He had gotten bad again- skin and bones, looking exhausted. Sometimes he would hear things that weren't there, swear other wolves were around. Ashe had disappeared... almost instantly when Noke had showed up... his heart had broken and warped so many times, he wasn't sure about anything anymore. Had he betrayed Ashe the moment he saw his former mate Noke? Was he still in love with Noke? And was it cruel of him to have fallen in love with Ashe since Noke had disappeared for so long?
His heart seemed to be at war with itself, two females trying to take all of the space inside... and it seemed to break into more pieces when he realized both of them were missing. He'd slept less, his light diet had been decreased more so... Kamali was never good at taking care of himself, and even less so when he was so depressed.
But what now? Her mother had disappeared and the pack had disbanded... her father was in shambles. "What shall we do then?"
Kamali just shook his head lightly, glancing at his daughter in a pitiful manner as if trying to state 'keep looking, we have to keep looking'. This was what had warred him down so hard when Noke had gone missing. The constant search, it wasn't good.
He suddenly stopped as an old, familiar scent filled his snout. Confusion slipped onto his features as he looked around slowly, and then began to move quickly toward the source.
She sighed lightly and shrugged, stopping when her father stopped and eyes becoming larger in surprise. Did he smell- but as she inhaled she realized the scent was unfamiliar to her. She followed after her father, confused as he was but for different reasons. "Wait! Dad, what the hell are you doing?" She called out.
They both came to a stop as a large, dark colored wolf came into view. He was huge... well, nothing like a giant but he was very well built. He looked old though.. Adieu couldn't help but feel amused at the thoughts. She glanced toward her father, trying to figure out what was going on.
Kamali was uncertain how to react, he almost couldn't believe his eyes. "It seems as though the ghosts of my past keep spiriting in this last months.." He said slowly, his tone friendly. Indeed, first Noke and now Haku.
