Yes...yes...I've missed a couple MotM awards. But that's not the main problem. Each time MotM happened, we got less and less participation. It took longer to get nominations and we received less votes. So how do you remedy a situation this dire?
YOU KILL IT WITH FIRE!
I mean...well...you reinvent things.
That's why I am pleased to bring you:
Instead of once a month, these "best member" awards are now happening once every three months. But what changes are going to happen?
More nominations will be accepted per season.
More gold will be awarded, along with "season appropriate" gifts.
Banners and userbars will still be made
You can still only win if you haven't won two times prior.
So look forward to these dates: November 20, February 20, May 20, August 20. That's when MotS nominations start.
Feel free to discuss the changes here, and since this won't start for a couple months, feel free to also offer suggestions that we can incorporate.

@Eikou - Not a bad idea! Themed Member of the Season Award Show Combination Super Fun Time!
@Simplified - MotM is where members and crew of APG nominate a number of people for Member of the Month and then everyone votes on who they think was the best member the previous month. Kind of like an Employee of the Month dealio. This one will operate very similarly but will happen less often and be slightly more important.
