 Maha had manged to slip away from her family for now. She and her brother Kobe had just returned from their first Seeking barely a few days ago and there had been a lot of catching up to do. She had missed her parents and her sisters dearly and had spent two days tagging along with one of them or another. Yesterday she had sought out her friends and did some catching up with them as well. Today she had decided it was time to see Udo'Tau. She had asked around for his whereabouts and had picked up his scent a few minuets ago. Maha stopped to sniff at a bush and then, careful not to lose it.
She had grown since their last encounter, but her cheery disposition hadn't changed a bit. And she remembered how much fun they had had on the beach that day. Udo been on her mind a lot while she was gone. She didn't know what to make of it, only that she really wanted to see him again.

 Udo had been gone on his own journey for a while. But now that his adopted siblings met their father. They were back here. He was more excited than ever to return back here that was until he got here he realized that he had no clue where Maha was. He asked around a bit before he found out that she was out on her seeking. He wanted to kick himself for not thinking that she was the right age, however he missed her and wanted to spend some time with her.
If anything he felt a little odd that he was thinking so much about the lioness. He was pretty sure that she wasn't thinking of him then again he was wrong. He found his days waiting for her to come back sitting out in the sun. Like today. That's what he was doing. Laying out in the sun, soaking the rays and enjoying the time that he had out here with out little cubs pulling at his ears. He really needed to get his own den around here but he liked to be a home and help his mother take care of his adopted siblings. Beside Korrin hadn't found his own den yet...
His mind wandered as he idly flicked his tail around. He wished he had something to do that day.

A wide smile spread on Maha's maw as she caught a glimpse of a familiar brown and gold coat. She approached and sure enough Udo was sitting there. He was with his back to her and a mischievous little idea came to her. She walked up to him without making too much noise and jumped on him with a yell.
"UDO!"
Encircling his neck with her forelegs, she buried her face in his mane. "I missed you!" She said, her voice muffled by his mane. Then she let him go and gave him the brightest smile she possibly could. "Well...I'm back!" She said, masterfully stating the obvious. "Sorry about the whole jumping on you thing." She chuckled sheepishly. She didn't believe she startled him too much, but still that wasn't the best way to greet someone when they were deep in thought. "I was just very happy to see you."

He was pretty deep into his thoughts there wans't that much other than that going through his mind, and one thing was for sure but he wasn't expecting a lioness to jump out of the bushes at him and surprise him.
"OHMYGOD. I'M UNDERATTACK." He had no clue why that was his first reaction but he held his breath and closed his eyes and truthfully worried for his life. But of course just with his luck it wasn't anyone attacking him it was a beautiful lioness. He realized that after he registered the voice. He laid there for a second as he was thinking. Was it really her? Maybe one of her sisters? He glanced down at the paws that were wrapped around his nexk before he grinned widely. "MAHA!"
He laughed slightly before he rolled over on his back so she was on his stomach. "It's alright!" He was blushing a bit under his darker coat. He was glad that she wouldnt have been able to see that. Maybe he could pass it off as a joke? He licked her cheek before laughing a bit. "I'm glad to see you! You got a lot bigger!" He chuckled slightly before nudging her cheek once more.

Maha gave him a lick on the cheek in return and smiled proudly. "Yes I did! Like good fighter girl should. You're still bigger than me tough." She added as she rested her head on his chest. Hybrids got the best of both species, she mused. Udo was as swift as a leopard and as strong as a lion, a useful combination indeed. Maybe that's why she liked him so much - he was different. Granted they had a few more leopons in the pride, but she preffered Udo. They just..clicked? Whatever it was, she enjoyed his company greatly. Much more that that of any other male's she had encountered both in the pride and in the rogue lands.
"I'm glad to see you too." She replied, nuzzling her cheek against his. "I really missed you while I was away." She chuckled, happy that they were together again and generally just happy that she was back home. Her curiosity for the outside world was satisfied for the time being and she was glad that she was able to stay in one place for more than just a few days.

Udo remembered the time that he spent in the rougelands when he was younger, then he thought back to the trip that he spent not that long ago. He remembered the time that he just recently spend there. It was so different than he remember, it was a pretty nice freedom but he liked the comfort of the of home, he was home now and on top of that he was glad that he got to spent some time with Maha, he missed her a lot.
"You're probably a good fighter." He winkeded at her before smiling more as she rested her head on his chest, it felt good to be that close to her, a small rumble of a purr escaped his throat. He wasn't this happy in a while.
"I'm glad you missed me." He wrapped his paws around her and raised one to ruffle her hair. "I really missed you too." He purred quietly before smiling a little more at her.

"Probably? Probably!" Maha said in a mock-insulted tone. "I am without doubt the awesomest fighter around here!" She held her head up proudly and after several moments burst out laughing. "Well, at least I managed to keep Kobe safe. That's something." It had been strange, her acting as her brother's bodyguard. It was usually the other way around - brothers protected their sisters. It made her chuckle every time she thought about it.
Maha purred at his touch. She closed her eyes and leaned her head into his paw. "I'm here now. And I'm not going anywhere. At least for a while."

Udo couldn't help but to start laughing at her comments himself. Not laughing because it wasn't true but her reaction was a little funny. He nipped at her nose gently as if to let her know he was joking around. "You kept your brother safe?" He snickered a bit then pulled at her ear. "I would think that it is the other way around." He shrugged it off before grinning at her again. "If you did that I'm pretty sure that you have to be a strong fighter." He smiled again before looking around a bit.
"I'm glad your back I really am. He wrapped his paws around her tightly before closing his eyes for a moment he was relaxing he really didn't want to go anywhere himself. "I don't plan on leaving either." He smiled a bit before he started to talk again his eyes still closed. "So... Um.. Maha... Did you think about me?"

"It was part of my Rite of Passage." Maha shrugged. She lightly swatted at him with her paw with a chuckle and then licked him on his cheek. "Otherwise he would have been the one looking after me." Maha knew she could count on Kobe to back her up if she was ever in trouble. That's what brothers were for.
She snuggled into Udo and relaxed as well, once again laying her head on his chest. "Uh...yeah." She was having a little trouble answering his question. She was also blushing for some reason. "I-I did. Quite a lot actually." She mumbled the last part so quietly she wasn't sure he could understand it. "Did you think about me?"

Udo stuck his tongue out at her before chuckling a bit and smiling. "Alright." She nudged her and then stretched out some a bit. "Well, I'm glad that you are both are alright. I would have been upset if you weren't." He nudged her then flicking his tail around.
He pulled her closer when she said that she missed her. He decided to be bold and wrap his tail around hers with a smile on his face. "I... thought about you a lot too. I wandered with my family for a bit to meet the cub's father..." His voice trailed for a moment before he nodded at her. "I thought about you a lot." He nodded slightly and closed his eyes.

Maha felt her cheeks burn as he pulled her even closer and told her that he'd missed her. The words also made her feel warm inside and his tale around hers felt comforting. It made her smile without realizing it. All of the leopon's actions however made her wonder if Udo was hinting at something. the effect of that thought on her was strange - it scared her just a little but it also gave her the courage to say something she'd been meaning to ever since she saw Udo today.
"I'm glad you did. Very glad." Now how to say this...Maha wasn't very experienced in this kind of things. "I..uh..While was away...when I thought about you." She started playing with a strand of his mane with her paw. "I realised that..." she looked down, embarrassed and said, or rather mumbled, the next part quickly "thatjustmaybeIkindadon'twanttobe justyourfriend."

Udo smiled slightly at her keeping his eyes closed and enjoying the sun out and his best friend with him... Or he was pretty sure that's how he felt about her. He wasn't that sure at all. He was pretty confused but if anything he knew that he liked her a lot. He blinked a bit as she started talking his eyes were opened and he looked at her a little confused. He looked up at the sky as he thought before hs started to speak himself. "I'mPrettySureThatILikeYouMoreThanAFriendToo." He grunted before looking at her with a small smile on his face.

A very big and ridiculously happy grin spread on Maha's face. She giggled happily and knowing not what to say she just licked him on the cheek and nuzzled him. Then she wriggled herself free from his embrace and swatted him lightly with her paw. "Tag!" She made a few leaps away before she turned around and gave Udo a beckoning look, her tail-tuft flicking from side to side. "Come catch me." She winked at the leopon and giggled again.

Udo was blushing underneath the dark color of his coat. A very low rumble of a purr escaping his throat. He was flicking his tail around a little bit. Thinking about what he was going to say to her but his thinking was disrupted as Maha started to wiggle out from his grasp. He looked at her a little odd before standing up looking confused as she tagged him. They were just having a moment and she jumped up to play tag. He grinned before standing up and chasing after her. His tail flicking around wildly as he did. "I'm going to get you!" He shouted before starting to take off after her.

She danced around him, always just barely out of his reach. She was faster than him, being a female. At one time she even managed to come behind him and tug on his tail and quickly withdrew so he wouldn't get her. But soon the adrenaline rush that had prompted this unexpected game of tag began to subside and Maha's reactions became slower. She continued running in circles but now she wanted to be caught.
