Hello, my name is Serenity Marie, but most call me Marie. I have come into contact with Lab 305 and have set before me, a goal. This goal, is to someday receive a Raevan. For some, this may be a tale of myth, because some say that it is impossible to do. For others, it is a successful enduring process, which I soon plan to make it. Thank you very much for coming in, I appreciate it. I hope that what I write here suits the likes of the other Raevan owners, who can, at any time, give me advice on what I should do next. Thank you again for reading.
Updates: October 6, 2009 - Started the questing process.
Funds: As of now, all I have to give is 52,000 gold. But seeing as how I am going to need quite a lot for just a semi-custom, I am not sure how this will go. I will definitely be participating in flat-sales and re-homing events. That will be the one and probably the only way for me to obtain a Raevan. But, one can dream. :]

The Essence I have yet to come up with something good. Dismal Tear This drop of water was saved from a weeping ghost, whose sadness brought him face to face with an uncertain death. Now, he weeps for the many people of Gaia, in hopes that they will save his soul. These tears are said, by some, to contain a mystical power which gives Witches, Warlocks, and other beings magnificent strength, hope, and a sense of right and wrong. Others believe this to be a fallacy, but those who practice in the dark arts will understand of the Dismal Tears spoken of in ancient tales of woe and heartbreak. These tears, if preserved, glow a dim white. Just one or two drops is enough to cure a person of any anguish or toil they may be going through. It is said to be the “Tear of Realization” or the “Tear of Knowledge of Love and Hate”. Through these tears, it gives people the wisdom of what to do to fix the problems set before humans in their everyday life. It is said to contain the mysterious knowledge of the weeping ghost whose death is still a mystery. Whatever these tears possess, be it knowledge, or reason, the people of Gaia know that they are important for realizing the truth in others and the truth of love and hatred. That being said, these tears are also used in creating love potions and other sorcerers brews. It can be found upon the mountain top, but the ghost will only appear to one who is downcast or heartbroken.

The Raevan
Fel Essence: Undecided Soul: Cat Sidhe Name: Esmeralda "Mera" LeBatolli Gender: Female Alignment: Neutral-Good Personality: Mera, being neutral-good, is a kindhearted individual. She works to keep others lives a happy place to be by sucking the negative energy out of a situation. She does have one problem, she loves the feeling of negative energy. Although she is naturally good, sweet, and kind, she also has a tendency to want to cause strife in others lives, for her own fulfillment. She may pick on someone, or say some rude comment to get the negative energy flowing. If it makes them angry, then she will touch them, feeding off their negative energy. It is quite hard to be angry with her after that. It is almost as if she erases the mind of any wrongdoings she ever does. She does have a naivete about her. She is rather ignorant of the rules of human life, so she does not really understand right from wrong. She does have a conscious, which tells her what to do, but it is, in some cases, matter over mind. Her mind may say, "that is wrong, you should not do such things." But her need says, "well, there it is, you can do it, it will cause no strife." So, in a way, she somewhat seems to have a personality of that of a child. A naive little girl who wants to please, yet fulfill her own destiny. Quirks: Mera loves objects that are shiny or black. She has a tendency to steal small objects that are black or obsidian, especially if they are shiny. This could cause some great disturbances within the Raevan community, but that does not bother her, as long as she obtains what she will. She will keep a "treasure chest" full of these little black or shiny objects for her enjoyment. It makes her day to add a new object to the collection.
Food Source: She draws her power from the sadness of others. Also, because her "mother" is sad much of the time, because spells and things cease to work, she is in a constant state of "full".
---------------Powers:--------------- Mera has the ability to use the powers of the Dismal Tear. She can help whoever is sad by giving them a way to process their feelings. She draws out the sadness, and eats it as a food source. Which can leave the victim rather dry of tears or even happy. She helps others by her touch. She touches another, and their sadness will be swept away for the time being. This is also her food source, drawing in the negative energy. This can cause her in the future, to maybe become power hungry, wants to make others lives miserable because it feeds her, but that would go against her personality to do so, yet in the same way, she would be filled. She is a glutton for sadness.

The Guardian

So, what is your name? Madame Marie LeBatolli
And, how old are you? Oh, deary...a witch never reveals her secrets, hehe. Age included.
How would you describe your race? That would be simple. I am an Elven Witch. If we had such things as classes, I would be a Witch. My race however, is Elven. My mother was a High Elf, and my father was a Night Elf. The two combined to create me. Though, I am not sure what exactly my race would be called, I know I am fully Elven in descent.
Okay, well, what would you say you're like? Hmm...I would have to say that I am a positively ageless woman with a kind heart, yet feeble soul. I become quite sad sometimes really. I cannot control my feelings as well as other humans may be able to. You see, I may be a witch, but I am not all that great of one. My spells and things never really excel past a beginner's level. For some reason, I just cannot get used to using rhymes and riddles to explain my spells. But, I am old enough from experience, that a simple rhyme can do the trick, just watch out what you ask for, sometimes spells can come back to bite you.
Moving on past that, I enjoy the love that the world can give. We as people do have big hearts, it just takes some deep delving to understand what others want, instead of ourselves first. I have been told that I am quite sweet like that. But, of course, everyone has their own quirks and faults about them. Mine, for example, would definitely be my incapability to produce any good spell, which lowers my mood quite a bit. I mean, my fellow witches and warlocks at the academy I attended had such an easy time. I feel so jealous of them, I wish I could be more like those people, instead of always trying my best, and never understanding the true power a witch can hold. That would be my one fault in life. Sadness over things in the past and present. If I could just learn to move on...
You talk a little of your past, do you mind moving on a bit further for us? Oh dear, my past is so bleak and boring, I do not know if you want to hear all about it, but since you asked, I shall tell you.
I was born into the world of magic with my mother being a witch and my father being a warlock. I grew in the witchly ways, as we called them. Learning how to fly on brooms, use magic to our advantage, but for some reason, I could not understand what I was doing wrong. I tried my hardest to keep up with the spell casting, but I was a disgrace to my academy.
Moving past that, after I was expelled from the Academy of Magic for reasons I wish not to discuss, my mother and father tried to teach me on their own, in our little cottage outside of the village. Well, what an experience that was. The two of them were so good with it, always being able to cast the spell just right. I however, was horrible with it. I could not ever learn a simple transportation spell, or even a spell to turn a man into a frog. Oh but woe is me, right?
Well, after I failed at witchcraft, my mother and father decided it was time I moved to the mortal realm, start a life for myself there so I could be one of them. They disowned me that day, yet I kept pressing on towards my goal of becoming an extraordinary witch. After I bought my little cottage in Barton Town in the little planet of Gaia, I started working with witchcraft again. Since then, I believe I have gotten a little better, but over all, my skills still need much improvement. That is where I reside today.
I see, so you aren't that great of a witch, right? Well, that seemed almost as if it were an insult, but to answer the question, I am no strong witch. Far from it actually. But, I believe with practice, I can become better.
What are some of your hobbies? I would have say that my hobbies include casting spells, working on witch's brews, forming peace between friends, recycling, spending time in the park, enjoying the world, traveling by broom or foot, spending time with loved ones, meeting new people, talking is a must, creating new friends, creating love potions, and practicing my witchcraft.
That's quite an assortment. What do you not like? Oh, that list is much shorter. I do not like to fail at my spell casting, accidentally start fires, I hate when friends fight, finding litter in my yard, being stuck in my cottage doing chores, running errands, cleaning, cooking, and finding rats in my home. Positively revolting.
What would you consider your, occupation to be? Well, I would say I am an Apprentice Witch. Of course, that title may change in due time. I make my living my creating potions and selling them in the market. Oh, people always say they love my little concoctions. Hehe, although one will never know what goes into them.
Oh, but you must tell your secrets to someone? Or have a magic book of spells? No, deary, I do not use a spell book when creating potions or using my magic. I would rather experience the surprise of making something from scratch, with no recipe or book to tell me how these things are done. I love to learn from experience. I guess it is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Wait, but you sell your potions? Why, yes, I already said that, did I not?
You did, but...oh never mind. Lets move on. Hmm, what would you love more than anything? Well, that is tough. Anything you say? If I could have a child, I think my life would be much more full of fun and adventure for sure. At least some type of creature to care for. I loved my mother, back before she disowned me, but that is not the point. I have this motherly instinct about me, and I wish to fulfill my dream of becoming a mother at some time in life.
Well, that's a nice wish. I hope that goes well for you. Someday anyway. Thank you dear. As do I.
Well, that is all the time we have for today's episode of "Whose that Witch"! Stay tuned for an exciting announcement from the president at WitchCo. And thank you Madame LeBatolli for coming on the show. From Gaia Action News, this is Lolly Pop! Yes, thank you for having me on the show.
