Otashii slowly moved his head across the span of horizon he could just make out through some of the thinner sections of branches that were making his shelter. His eyes were peeled for the she-wolf that had gone off hunting for him, though there was something of worry etched across his maw. She'd left quite a while ago, and even though he knew it sometimes took very long to hunt he couldn't help but let himself come up with different scenarios that were all ending in one sort of tragedy or another.
If only he hadn't fallen down that hill... of perhaps he should have rejected her offer altogether.. though that would not have been wise, he was sure he would make his injury worse if he tried to hunt by himself. He whined slightly as the anxiety almost got too much to bare, and then let out a deep sigh.
Really, he should just be thinking well wishes for Chantily and not letting himself mull over the black scenarios. He was more than sure that she was quite capable...

 Chantily had been gone longer then she intended, mostly due to the meeting she had stumbled across near the meadow, after leaving the small group she had still needed to hunt and found the daylight swiftly fading by the time she broke through the brush line in the area she had left her wounded companion.
A hare was clamped in her mouth alongside the white rose she needed to bring back to Fantasia on the night of the full moon. As she approached the shelter she caught sight of Otashii worried face and let out a huff of relief, relieving a tension she hadn't even noticed she'd had, clearly she'd been worried about him as well.
Depositing the hare at the opening she tucked the rose into a crook of the pines branches. "Sorry I took so long" she started off "I sorta ran into something interesting, and then the game wasn't cooperating. I ate on the trail so i wouldn't have to carry back two - so go ahead and help yourself" she finished nudging the rabbit closer to him.

He could smell the wolfess before she actually came into his view. His tail beat against the ground twice as his mind was flooded with relief. Good, everything was fine! And mixed with her scent was the metallic scent of blood, a smell that was making his mouth water. "interesting?" He said after a moment, sounding curious.
He smiled and nosed at the rabbit a moment, hoping she really had eaten on the way over. He wouldn't insist though, he was hungry and feeling tired, slightly weak. He ripped into some of the flesh, and though it wasn't as warm as he would have liked it was still highly appreciated. "I was beginning to get worried.." He stated after a moment, then chuckled. "It's hard being a worrier though... but in a way it always feels very warm worrying for others too. Don't you think?" Though it was hard to see the logic in that, but he really meant it was always nice seeing others okay after worrying for them.
"Of course I argued with myself thinking I shouldn't be worrying at all, you've proven to be much more capable than myself." He chuckled at that too, though he really meant it as a compliment.

Chantily flicked an ear at him as he went on about orring about her - she could relate she supposed since sh'd been worried about him too...but she wasn't the one laid up under a pine tree and her worry as far was the buff wolfess was concerned was quite justified. His worry just seemed etched in his nature. That wasn't always a bad trait - in fact bad wolves very rarely worried about anything other then themselves so she supposed it could be considered quite a good trait. Even if it was tiresome at times Chantily decided she wouldn't hold it against him - and she could certainly see the warmth in his worry as he put it - though she had never thought it quite in those terms. "Yes...I suppose it does" She remarked after thinking about it for a few moments. "I guess its nice to know someone is worrying after you once in a while too" She continued...and it was, no one in her former pack had worried over her much, they had been a jealous snippy group out for their on comforts and nothing more.
She chuckled slightly and arched a brow at him as he cracked his joke "Well...at least I haven't fallen down any hills lately' she agreed in a teasing tone she hoped would convey the point that she was joking. But back to the reason she had taken so long in the first place.
"and yes it was an interesting trip, or perhaps unexpected..I'm not sure hich suits things better but I met a group of Wolves in the woods..."
