Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.

I've seen it in Best Buy, It's called Hell Girl. It seems interesting, I might actually watch it.

The actual name is indeed Hell Girl. I have seen both seasons and its something different then you expect of an Anime. Its good.

umm.....if u cant find the english title..look for JIGOKU SHOUJO...um..p.s. there is season 2 and 3 already..and a japanese movie...(JIGOKU SHOUJO LIVE ACTION)...and its not kinda scary...
the only thing is...your cursing someone to die but in the end..ur lyf will be taken also...its like ur BETTING UR LIFE FOR UR OWN REVENGE... confused
again..its not scary..i just find it...um...too suspense.. sweatdrop
um...ill give ya some small info(to the new ones)
season 1....enma ai(also called as HELL GIRL) dont access at the internet yet...she just appear to some desperate people and give them some black straw doll..um...season 2 has already the access to internet

Oh! I remember her! Yeah, I watched a few episodes of this, and then I moved on to Higurshi no Naku Koro ni. Good times.
And it's not that your life will be taken. It's that as soon as you life ends, you get dragged to hell. Also, you get this tattoo over your heart to show you're screwed.

hehe...anyways, most people find it BORING...because u cant relate some episodes...and um...every episode is like the same....revenge..kill..die...hell...then it ends...
my rating at this anme is 6 out of 10...the anime characters were great and so is the opening and endings...but the story arent so...um....entertaining...
