Because that's what first came to mind to me.
But maybe that's because I have an extremely dirty mind.

I think he was more or less coming from the idea of new fans of yaoi see it. Normally people who are fans of yaoi for awhile know that, it doesn't hurt, and the new fans don't so they think 'ow, that must hurt alot'. Get where I'm coming from?
And about your mind, that is either a possibility, or it could just be the way you think.
