See, theres this trend here in Kentucky, that everybody is all the sudden becoming a juggalo, like almost over-night, theres been alot of mainstreamer type people, that have been wearing ICP shirts or a Hatchetman shirt, or the Hatchetman charm even, let me give y'all some examples: I saw this kid wearing a Hatchetman charm in the mall, I said Whoop Whoop to him, he just looked at me and nodded, almost as if I was from another planet or some s**t. Then there was this other situation, I was in Wal-mart, I saw another dude wearing an ICP shirt, I said what up ninja to him, and he had like a ******** look on his face, as if to say "What the ******** are you talking about, ******** I dont even know you." All these ******** who dont even know ICP is or what the Hatchetman is and what it represents, they dont care either, they just like the pretty colors and the bad-a** designs. I think that alot of these people are doing this is because they are trying to be popular, doing it for shock-value. And then there are the punk-asses who just buy Hatchet-gear just to destroy it, here are two examples to prove my point: Example 1: There were these skater kids in Hot Topic, and the people who work there gave them free Bang Pow Boom samplers, they took them, but outside of the store, those same exact kids, took the cds out of the packages and they snapped them in half. Example 2: I was just out walking, and I walked by this skate-park, there were this group of kids, who just recently bought an ICP shirt, they were ripping the shirt to shreds. Ha ha ha ha the jokes on them though, because although they destroyed the shirt, their money still went to Psychopathic.

Now see my defination of a juggalo, you cant just become one, you have to be one from the start, thats just the way I see things. Now to a mainstreamer's mind they gotta wear Hatchetgear, or anything ICP related in order to be down, well I hate to break it to ya, but thats not the case.

lol yall must be alil behind the times, I been dealin with kids like that for years... so much to the point that 90% of the time I see something psychopathic i dont even acknoweldge them.. and you can usually tell who's down and who aint so its not much of an issue anymore, but sometimes ill get someone who dont look down come up to me like whatup ninja and I have to explain to them why i didnt say it first lol...but yeah ive done the "what up ninja" thing and gotten looks like WTF? and also people even saying "Do I know you?" I eventually just had to laugh it off.
as for the destroying merch thats just funny cuz as you said Psy still got paid.

Hatchetman does look pretty BAMF though, even to an outsider. xp
Like it might piss us off, but looking at it through their point of view, can you blame them?

I am probably one of those people you hate. Honestly. I mean, I don't destroy stuff or anything like that, but I do hang my head in shame when I see all the stupid merch that they're come out with floating around the stores. Ringmaster notebook paper? Really ? Come on now. I don't acknowledge the people walking around in the shirts with their hatchetman, running around the mall saying "whoop whoop" & shouting lyrics at the top of their lungs because their dumbasses need attention that their parents never gave them. It's not my job.
I do acknowledge that kid sitting on the train in some random old school Psychopathic shirt with his headphones on, staring out the window. I'll just walk up to them, maybe a tap on the shoulder, flash of the wrist, & ask them if they've been to any good shows lately... That's all. I don't need to be best friends with them, I don't need to know their life story... just letting them know I'm around.

Thought you might like this : ThaLotusPod Stage One- Pre Birth: This is before you even know who I.C.P is. You know you're different, that you don't belong in "normal" society. You see the world differently than most and don't really know where your view fits in. Stage Two- The Awakening: You get introduced to I.C.P. Maybe a friend introduces you, or you hear one of their songs, or see someone sporting a shirt and think "I wonder what that's all about." No matter how it happens, nothing is ever the same. You start to delve into the magic that is the Dark Carnival and start to find that place where your view belongs. Stage Three- Clown Boy: This is the stage that I get the most resistance to. Nobody likes to think of themselves as a clown boy (or fanboy, or hound dog...take your pick), but we've ALL been there. This is where I.C.P. and Psychopathic are the WORLD to you. You want all the merch, memorize all the songs, and follow blindly the lead of Joe, Joey and the Psychopathic machine. The most common symptoms of being in this stage are: calling ANYONE a Juggahoe, starting "******** EMINEM" chants before shows, dissing anyone for not having as much merch as you or not knowing every lyric to every song on every album, participating in Ray Day, believing everything that J says, wearing a Zug Izland shirt before the band even records a song, and generally defending everything they do, even when they are obviously wrong. Some are more obvious in this stage than others, but believe me, you too (will be/are/have once been) at this stage. Sorry. That's just the way it is. Stage Four- Disillusionment: This is where you start seeing cracks in the perfect structure that is the Juggalo World. It happens different for all of us, but something plants a seed of doubt in the world you've emersed yourself in. Maybe you meet J and he's a d**k, or you run into a ninja that treats you like s**t, or you think track "17" on Shangri-La is crap, or you start to see that Psychopathic Records is no different then other record companies, in that their main goal is to make money. You start doubting the "Family" and all the bullshit that comes with it. This is the hardest stage to get through. All the faith you put into this thing starts to crumble, and you begin to feel lost once again. Stage Five- Realization: The last stage. This is where you finally figure it out. That being a Juggalo isn't about the merch or knowing what kind of pudding Shaggy likes or hating/liking things just cause I.C.P. says so. It's about being YOU. About seeing the world differently from "normal" society and not giving a ******** where your view fits in. It's about being your own person and not letting anyone tell you how you should be or act or dress. It's about a community of ninjas that have had similar experiences and feelings as you and having a connection w/ them....even if we don't always get along or agree.
