For once, Darcy was doing actual child-care work while waiting for the gaurdian to show up. She sat near Aaron on the rock, reading to the two kitten twins they had with them. Aaron held one half of the tome, and Darcy the other. They were reading a book of folklore and legend; a rather old book, by the worn look of the bindings. Darcy glanced up every now and then, keeping an eye out for their guest.

Everything seemed quiet and serene for a long while; it almost seemed as if no one was coming at all. That is, until a pair of rather large black panthers wandered onto the scene. You might immediately think 'oh shi- danger!' but these panthers were wearing clothing! One was dressed in what looked like to be tropical tourist wear and the other in casual jeans and a t-shirt. They looked quite silly really, but as they approached you could hear them softly whispering to each other in human language.
"Maybe we should have stayed in our human forms Evan..." The casual one muttered.
The other blinked twice and growled lightly. "You want them to think we're some sort of crazy people, Beatrice?" It replied. "Now come on, they're waiting..." The pair padded on until they were directly in front of Darcy and Aaron. Both glanced to each other and smiled at the two in front of them.
"Hello, we're here to-" One began but the other broke in happily. "AWWWW! Aren't they just precious! I can't wait to become a mother!" The tropical panther glared at the other and sighed. "As I was saying...We're here to pick up our...Daughters?" A nervous sharp toothed grin followed from both as they waited for an answer.

Darcy smiled, nodding. "Yes, that's right." she said, hopping down from her perch, baby in tow. By the looks of it, she wasn't surprised by their knowledge of the kids. Of course she wouldn't be surprised....she'd altered the letter herself. "Here's one of them. My brother Aaron is holding the other." she said, looking....amused. Though, why, well....that was anyone's guess*
Aaron gaped a moment before regaining his composure. Talking panthers....wearing clothes? Okay, now he'd seen everything. "Um, here Sir...." he said, holding the baby out, silently trying to figure out how they were going to carry the babies home.
