Oh well, now this was going to be fun he thought to himself in a slightly sarcastic manner. He knew this demon, had spoken with him, and had his ear talked off by the creature. They let him wander about the building doing what he wanted to do and that seemed to be bothering everyone else. Of late though the guy seemed to be a bit scarce as though even he knew that everyone was a bit on edge and he didn't want to deal with it.
Aden gave a shrugging of his shoulders as he reached into the pocket of his labcoat and drew out a pack of generic smokes, he drew one out, lit it, and took a long drag off of it. Oh the irony of someone that had gone to medical school to become a doctor and save lives smoking he thought to himself. Ah well, everyone had their vices which this place not only seemed to promote but went about making children out of.
Two of the kids would be coming in today to meet with Enki, two Pride based kids but a Pride based demon... this could prove to be interesting to say the least.

Shylock walked calmly beside his father, the green haired child's hair lightly flopping in his eyes. He had heard his meeting was to be at the same time as his friend Taylor's, which was good really. His tan skin was bare, despite the n** in the air, and apart from a white loincloth he was required to have wrapped around him, Shylock was totally nude.
His tail lashed lightly as he and Zane waited for the arrival of the other boy and the tech to let them in. The darker male, his guardian, disliked being here but kept that under wraps. It wasn't his business what they did here unless the Lady decided to send him to destroy it - though, more likely she'd send Dante for this sort of place, but again, that wasn't his business.
Shylock puffed a bit, thinking idly he should probably get a scarf before long, and idly started to play with his earring.

Taylor jogged beside his sister as they made their way back to the place they had both been created. Pride and wrath, diligence and chastity, four separate forces, two in each body but all in the same house. Sometimes it was a miracle that their home remained in as good a shape it was. Sometimes that which made them who they were only served to make the siblings closer than others.
Either way the pair had the facility in sight now and Taylor grinned" I"ll race you" he called before darting forward, not waiting for a reply. They'd only been jogging since they got off the bus a few blocks away, that meant neither of them was worn out and no one had an advantage from it. The green and clay skinned boy raced forward on the front of his feet being careful to keep his long claws from clipping the the sidewalk. Taylor's tail remained straight as a pin behind him helping the growing boy keep his balance at the high speed.
Mareike, substituting for Penny who was ill, blinked and then took off after her younger sibling. The thistle haired girl hadn't been expecting a race but she was all for it. Her main eyes were focused on her brother and her third on the boy and his guardian just up ahead. That was Shylock, some other facility kid that Taylor knew and was fond of.
It was hard to judge really which sibling made it to Shylock and Zane's side first between claws and hands and where the official line to cross was in each of their minds. Naturally both of them looked at the two waiting males expecting them to validate thier efforts and declare a winner.

It hadn't taken two long for the pair to arrive that were going to the meeting with Enki and he found himself studying them. Both born from the same demon and yet they didn't really seem to share all that much in common, did they? He tilted his head to the side before his attention went to the girl inpecting her for a moment as well. An older spawn as well? Interesting.
He finished off his cigarette before he flicked the butt of it aside and walked forward, "Alright, if the pair of you are ready we are going to get to our meeting with the demon. The sooner that you meet him the sooner you can flee." He told them, "The guy doesn't really know when to stop talking."
He made a motion with his hand before turning head toward the door to the Labs figuring the group would follow since this meeting was their reason for being here.

Shylock grinned at his friend, reaching out to lightly tap his friend's tail spikes with his own as a joke. At least, even though they looked so different, they could have one trait the same.
Zane smiled and nodded his head to the teen girl. "You won by a centimeter." he said calmly before glancing at the tech. Well, looks like they'd have to go in.

Taylor smiled at the little gesture, it was look, like having a secret handshake or knowing a password only people in a special club did. Not knowing any other children like them yet it was a big thing for Taylor to be able do that with Shylock, similar in certain ways to the special bond he shared with Asher. The little pride demon was like a creator of small two person alliances.
He frowned at learning Mareike had beat him but shrugged it off, he would win next time,he would worker harder and be faster so that he could say he'd won. The green banged boy smiled at his friend as they began to head inside though. " I hope he likes us and that he's not huge so it hurts out necks to look at him." Mareike had told Taylor about how her demon half had towered over her even from the other side of a wall. Taylor didn't want that, he hated having to stare up at people, as it was he enjoyed being taller than normal for kids his age becuase it meant he didn't have to do that much.
"Good to know" Mareike murmured. The maroon skinned girl resisted the urge to reach out and throttle the tech. She'd rather flee his insufferable presence than that of the demon. No matter how much time she spent at the facility she never found it possible to do anything but utterly loath most who worked there. Her fists clenched as she followed the man inside.

They might have taken a dozen steps inside of the Labs when Enki appeared, trotting forward in a pleased manner as he saw not one, but two of the spawn that shared his blood. He'd been eager for this meeting as he wanted always enjoyed seeing what they created using him as a base. He gave a nod as he looked them over, yes... he could see what they got from him he thought to himself before looking at Shylock, starring at him for a long moment, then blinked, "Does he have no angel blood in him?" He asked, looking over at Aden before giving a shrug and sat down on his haunches, "I rather like that idea."
Aden flipped through teh chart, "No, he also shares the blood with the Liberality angel Jhor... daesa... loria." Now that was one strange name, wasn't it?
Enki shrugged, "Eh, well it would seem that he got most of his look from me, my bloodline it would seem is more powerful then that of that angel." He all but chirped in delight before his attention then turned to looking at Taylor. He inspected him in the same manner as he did to Shylock, "Ah, haha. This one seems to have very little of his angel. That is two points for me, Aden."
The doctor gave a nod of his head, lifting one hand to scratch at the back of his head, "Yes, yes. Two points. Now how about we have them..." He got cut off of course.
Enki's gaze had gone to Mareike and he looked her up and down, seeming half disappointed because she wasn't of his blood, "Wraith, eh?" He didn't think highly of the Wraith demon if for no other reason then he was dead which made him weak.

Shylock smirked a little, amused at the creature that was his biological father. At least he seemed more interesting than some people the boy had met, and definitely very lively. The boy tapped his friend's tail with his own again, grinning as he looked over Enki.
While Taylor looked a great deal more like the demon, the other had said Shylock showed no traces of angel at all. Was that a good thing? Could be. He had an interesting tail at least, bigger than his or Tay's and with much larger spikes.
"You have a nice tail." the boy commented after Enki'd finished his looking over everyone.

" Wrath and diligence" Mareike murmured in warning. She held no personal grudge against the demon before her but just the way he spoke made her want to throttle him. the thistle haired girl wondered if she could, he was a full demon but she was a powerful combination. She'd probably had him on stamina but that tail of his gave him incredible reach.
" The spikes are huge" Taylor commented with clear envy as he looked over his sort of father. Like him and Shylock the demon was about as long as he was tall. " His legs are funny though," The young boy pointed out. Flicking his double set of head wings he looked down at his own legs, they were as far as he was concerned normal though his feet were strange and ended in long sharp black claws.
He was different from the demon before him just as he was different from Shylock, thought Taylor supposed that was what made them all special. He twisted his tail and gently poked Shylock's with a spike as if adding to the tap and now seeing just how much they could do with their tails while still paying attention.

It was hard to tell if Enki heard Mareike as his attention had turned to gazing at Shylock and Taylor before he gave a sound that was like a purr and he puffed up a bit. That the pair seemed to see how wonderful he was put the demon in a good mood and there was a soft groan from Aden. Exactly what he needed, a pair of kid helping to inflate the ego of a demon of Pride...
Aden looked at the boys, "So, we are here today for you to ask any questions of this one that you might have." The doctor said to them, hoping to get Enki on track since it just looked as though he were wanting to cuddle up with the two and here more compliments from them.
"Questions? Oh yes, I suppose I can answers those since I rather like these two." They were quite perfect, just like him he though giving one of his pleased, cat like grins.

Shylock shrugged a bit, tapping Taylor back and just looking ahead. "Dunno. Don't have anything I wanna know. Are our tails gonna get bigger, I guess?" really, he was pretty content with himself. Most of Enki's features were pretty obvious and unless he had some sorta secret powers, they had gotten most of what he had to give.
After a moment, he added a second question, "Do you have any powers?"

Hmmph Shylock had stolen his question about powers, now what was Taylor going to ask? The little pride boy drummed the claws on his feet against the floor as he thought. "What are you best at?" He was best at thinking, reading and school stuffs. Already he was smarter than his bigger sister in a lot of ways. Maybe it was becuase he demon half was supposed to be really smart?
"Can the pride become overpowering?" Mareike asked quietly. Her wrath could send her into rages that made her lose all rationality it was dangerous for her and others. Was it possible to Taylor to become so wrapped up in needing validation that he'd do something stupid " or are self preservation instincts stronger than that?"

Enki's tail swished behind him, "Of course!" He agreed, puffing up a bit and gave a toothy sort of grin, "I have many powers, of course! For example all of my senses are quite acute." He said, describing one of his 'many' cool powers. He turned his attention to Taylor before grinning, "I am good at most everything I try though I would say... hrm... I am best at conversation." His conversation was so good that he could out talk any one in the whole of the Labs!
Aden looked over at Mareike before giving a nod, "At times... he can be a bit hard to handle." He said, describing Enki, "Being the best can be important to him, being seen in a good light and manner as well. Something that you should keep an eye on with your..." He trailed off and looked at Taylor, uncertain of the relationship there. He would guess that it wasn't a parent/child one.

Shylock nodded a bit, noticing that his demon father seemed to list quite a few less good skills than he was letting on to. "Are you very strong?" the boy inquired, attempting to lead questions the way he'd seen his papa do before. Merrill was very good at leading a conversation in the way he wanted it to go and Shy was getting good at that too.
Zane chose this time to pipe up with a comment, "So...besides a possibly huge ego and a need to chatter a lot, is there anything particularly dangerous about having pride demon blood? As in they won't suddenly go insane if rejected for a date or whatever, or have sudden painful bursts of growth?"

Mareike had been about to comment that Taylor was just her brother but instead just sort of stared at Zane. She wondered that too, well minus the date part, the chastity in her brother would probably keep him from caring about dates for a long long time. He was probably also going to have boring if respectful relationships until he was married.
Taylor was quiet for the moment trying to think of new questions. he watched Enki and the others closely though, not wanting to miss anything while he processed the demons answers and tried to come up with the best question to ask next.
