It also has a lot of Brazilian & British tourists (depending on the time of the year) and people that move here from Latin America and the Caribbean countries...

Shopping and gas located in tourist areas usually cost more.


My opinion about Orlando: Even with all the theme parks it has been dying a slow death for locals. Employers don't pay enough when you have a job, everything costs too much so you really can't do or buy anything. Working to survive with no quality of life isn't my idea of living. I like the fact that there is no state income tax, but I am planning to eventually move out of state... maybe somewhere on the west coast of the country. I don't feel like there is anything here for me.


I haven't been in Palm Beach since the early 1990's. I don't know if it is still the same, but when I was there it was basically broken down into two categories: those with and those without or the rich and the poor. neutral

Orlando is very much a tourist town, with plenty of
restaurants and theme parks. But the insane traffic..
oh gawd, the traffic.. yeah, 'nuff said. The education
there is fairly good, while the jobs are scarce, when
you consider how large its local population is.



As for Palm Beach county, I've been living here my
entire life and there are no complaints to be found
from the sun- bunnies, alternative scene- hoppers
or the comfy- cozy, casual locals 'round this region
of the sunshine state.

Over the summer, West Palm hosted the National
Poetry Slam, which simply goes to show how much
this county has to offer with relaxation, fine dining
and entertainment a- plenty.

You should definitely drop by sometime.
