did any of y'all go from a JROTC to the real Marines?? if so do you start with any thing like e-2 or such my gunny doesn't remember and nether does teh colonel.

if you do 2/3 years in JROTC you can join the military as an e-2/e-3 except the USMC you only get e-2 but can get promoted in basic and graduate as an e-3 from basic in the marines.

im doing 4 years of so i will start with that little bit of a pay boost yea.

No thats wrong. If you do JROTC then you will become an E-2 after graduation, your nothing while your in. Less than a civilian in fact. The only possibly way to get E3 out of bootcamp is by being the company honor man, and there's only one out of the whole cycle, and it's always one of the guides.
