Well, most of you have probably noticed that I have not been around lately, haven't made any new posts or topics...
Well, this is because of life itself. I've recently gotten really busy in life, which I knew would be happening sooner or later, I mean how long can a 19 year old go before life really starts to take away from his free time? Come on now... hehe.
So, I figured I would come on here and spare a few moments of my time (5 AM) and let you all know what exactly has been taking away from my time on here.

Well, first off I've been trying to get a job. This is, as most of you might know already, something very hard to do right now with the minimum wage being raised up a few months back, jobs being thrown out which means more people looking for jobs, and me being young and having no experience. So this is one of the main things that has kept me away from Gaia in general... actually it's kept me from most of my sites that I usually visit often.
Another thing that has kept me away from here, is a few different things with politics. One is with all these Tea Parties and such (not going to try and explain it... cause I really can't) I've become more involved with it all. Because I've found out that Obama, Congress, and the Senate are going to be trying to limit our internet, which means I won't be able to chat on MSN with people in Canada, UK, China, etc... also, Obama is trying to take away our gun rights as well. Now, I'm not here trying to start a fight, or hear what you do or don't believe, simply stating why I'm gone. So, getting involved in this for me is really just helping my mother and others to get sites and graphics made. Here within the next site I will be working with another man to make a site, forums, and keep those updated. The second is helping my mother outside of the Tea Parties... she will be running for State Senator for Alabama, District 1 (if that means something to some of you) and so I'll be helping her as well. So this is taking a large chunk out of my time.

Now, some other things that aren't as high up there that are also taking away from my free time is Amy, and a site I work on with my cousin, and a clan I and Amy are in. See, Amy recently moved back to California (not sure if I was allowed to say that), and so I've been helping her emotionally and mentally about all this. With my cousin's site, he's the one in charge, and I really just give him advice and opinions on the matter, which he seems to always take (and I like that lol). Now, as for the clan I was talking about. This may seem kind of stupid to some of you, but I don't really care. I have been playing a game called Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy since a few days after release, in September of 2003. I have been in many online clans for this game, and I've run a couple of my own. Right now I am in a Clan, as is Amy, and I devote a lot of my time to that clan. I help them revamp the rules, the rank lists... make them clearer and easier to understand. I help them edit their forums and such. Help keep track of the server, and make sure the members stay in line, and all that good stuff. So this also takes the majority of the free time I have from politics...

Now, some of you are probably thinking why I don't just take a minute to pop in once and awhile and check on things? Well, that's simple. I've also started to lose my interest in Gaia. I'm tired of all the changing this site keeps doing. I've also been headstrong into this site since April, and it gets old after awhile. Some of you may find me kind of stupid for this, but really, I don't give a ********. I'm glad you guys love this place, I really am. I'm also glad I came here, cause I got to meet everyone, and I'd never change these days. I'll also still be around, but more like a Ghost... hehe.

Another thing that has been keeping me away, is depression... I have been dealing with depression for the past... oh I'd say around 10 years really. I've been hiding it from myself, but apparently people around me, such as my mother, my friends, even my girlfriend (yes, that's Amy) have noticed it. This depression is the cause of why I'm so into my games, and the net in general. Also the reason why I end up getting angry at the smallest things, and it really isn't good for me. So, back on Friday I started to see a Councilor, and I'll be seeing him every other Friday for the next 12 weeks. So that will be taking a lot of my time as well, as I'll be focusing on what the last session was about, how will the next session go, s**t like that..

So, if anyone has any questions for me or just wish to stay in contact with me, feel free to ask and stay in touch. You know how to get a hold of me, and if you don't you can PM me asking for them.

We all have things that we need to do. I am getting my degree, full time student with 17+ credit hours and I now work, with little time for homework and free time. I just check my guild to make sure all is well, and if not, then I take the time to pop a line, other than that, I rarely post and try to post if I think I can. Tell your mom good luck in her election. Good luck with everything you have to do!

I do have two things though with the politics. I doubt Obama can limit our internet. Plus we're allies with the UK. There would be hell if he ever does that, just like when alchol was banned because most Americans have relatives over seas and in other coountries and calling is way too expensive.

And second, guns will never be illegal now. When Bush was in office the whole "gun" thing was discussed and Congress passed it as the Right to Bare Arms means EVERYONE can own a gun. They also said that they didn't want to deal with that case again. On top of that, I live in a state where everyone owns one, if not 50.

Wow man. That's deep of you to share with us. I don't know you well, but I feel loved cos of your sharing. I totally feel you on the job and depression thing. I really hope those two problems get solved. I'm glad that you have people around you who love and care about your well being, and you know that you'll always have your fam here on gaia, if you need us.

As for the whole Tea Party stuff... I agree with Deseray. Obama might raise the taxes on guns and ammunition pretty high, but he won't ever be able to take away our right to bare arms OR limit our internet activity. We don't have THAT much of an oppressive government. Sometimes democracy actually does work to protect our rights. All that said, I am glad that you care enough to be involved politically and I wish you luck.

And like I said before... And I think I can speak for everyone here... You need anything or need to talk, we are here.

Thank you to the both of you, I'm glad to have support ^^.
Well, like I said, I won't be getting into a political discussion on here right now, cause I just don't feel like it, but about the guns I can post cause it's something that I and my mom have read the bills that Obama has tried to pass..

He is trying to make it where if your gun is registered, you will no longer be able to carry it, and you will no longer be able to buy a gun if it needs to be registered. He can't stop buying of unregistered guns, nor can take away guns from people that aren't registered. That's why my mother and myself will be buying a gun or two unregistered. This may all be superficial, I won't deny the thought that it might be made up, but by what I've read that my mom has shown me, it's true... but who knows, I hope he doesn't hehehe

Heh. Me too. That's crazy. At least if it is real, he definitely won't be able to pass it. ...or so I hope...

Yes, we do hope, and it's one of the reasons I'm so into the politics.
I don't want my rights being taken away... this is America, we are supposed to have our freedom!

It won't pass. It was only about two years ago when that became a big issue. He can try but because it has already been reviewed and discussed and Congress came to an agreement that you can buy and carry guns according to the 2nd Amendment, it won't change. On top of that, if he does that, he's destroying yet another JOB. I know you don't want to get into Politics but I needed to let you know that it won't happen. Congress will ignore the whole gun thing because it was passed the right to own firearms less that 2 years ago. It won't change.....and if it does, it won't be for a long while.
