So I just finished reading Violent J's book Behind The Paint the other day and I feel like it has really opened my eyes. It made me realize that some of my homies have strayed away from the carnival and have forgotten what it means to be a Juggalo. It's weird I feel like I've been given the task of bringing them back. Anyone have a similar experiance? Or any advice for me in my task?

Stay strong Miss Bandit. The fam might get insulted (my guess especially LaughBox) and walk away or shun you but if you really care of their outcome DON'T GIVE UP!!! You lead me back didn't you? The Carnival is watching over you no matter who says otherwise! I'll help in any way I can...after all, what's a Jack without his Jake right? ^_^

I've read about 1/3 of Behind the Paint. Still haven't finished it. I'm waiting for a particulary rainy or snowy day to just hide under blankets and read the rest, like a present or something.
As for bringing people back... I have the misfortune of knowing very little fam in the immediate vicinity, especially ones that have left... But I have tried converting some of my friends. Ehehe. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in getting them back into the fold.

Ive read the book a few times but i have to just set it down every time J starts talkin s**t about Mars cuz J's a ******** liar and an a*****e and theres no reason for him to say the s**t he does.... except to brainwash juggalos into thinking what he says actually happened. ******** that.
Other then that its a damn good read.... "The Road" is by far my favorite part... heart Rob, I love that guy.

He hasn't mentioned Mars yet. What about it isn't true?
"The Road" was pretty awesome. I'd still like to drive down that next time I'm near Detroit, even if it has changed.

Mr Mercurial Haha. Okay. I'll keep that in mind when I read it. But how do you know he's lying about it? I used to talk to Marz alot (i live in chicagoland) and I listened to his side of the story and all the different sides that J had on the situation, and J could never keep his story straight, things would always change.... and Marz said the same thing every time, I even interviewed him for my site DownJuggalos.com that I used to run back then about the whole situation.. his story was always rock solid and it was just kinda obvious what the truth was. I really wish J hadnt have been like that cuz Marz made lotus in my opinion back then he brought it all together and I always think of what lotus could be like now-a-days if he was in it still and what marz' music would be like if he would have joined the label like he planned on doing... now he makes shitty gangsta rap... he still makes some good tracks but it aint what it used to be.

I know that feeling all to well. It's like the carnival approves of you and it's chillin in your body. It's just a good feeling in general....the whole book really opened my eyes.
