Ciaran didn't know why he was heading to the labs. He desided it would nice to walk around town and to think of a way around to were Luthor wouldn't get lost and for him to get better around town and such. In reality he wasn't watching were he was going and it was like his feet has a mind of its own to take him back to the labs for something, Ciaran really didn't know. There was lots of things running around in his mind to why he was here. He had stopped infront of the gates as he realized to were he was going. With a big breath he went inside of the gates hopeing nothing bad was going to happen as his friend so needed him as he wasn't going to know standing outside.
Once inside the building he took to the shadows and hid within them as he walked around giveing the random tech a shock when they had gotten to close to where he was and just walked until he knew to why he was here. But always knowing to where he was where he could stay hidded for now.

Pepper was moving through the hallway a bit dragging his feet as he had another lesson with Vampy that he was less than inclined to work on. Not that he didn't think the lessons were interesting, they just dragged on. Vampy wasn't exactly the most motivational speaker, and tended to let his scary aura of sorts cow him into doing what he wanted. He didn't like himself for that...he blamed it on the fact Vampy was still bigger than him...yeah that must be it.
His claws clicked as he walked, since he had grown it was far too awkward to walked like he had moving around more like an animal than a person..but his legs were too long now it just made his back hurt after a while. Scratching at itchy patch of rock like skin he flickered his gaze and noticed a figure hiding in the shadows. He picked at the rocky skin a bit looking at the guy blankly. Though he was far from scared but his golden eyes seemed to drink in the light and cast no reflection of their own.
"What...are you doing? Scaring techs?" He inquired after a moment rather intrigued.

Ciaran stopped walking when he heard the clicking sound of claws and looked around as he didn't feel like running into any of the demons. But then he thought that he knew that most of them were locked up and was now wondering who it might be. Still in his shadow he watched the red skined guy come into view and to Ciaran it looked like rock on his skin, but he thought the other looked nifty.
But as the other spotted him he got a little nervous as none of the tech as never seen him and he knew that this guy did see him here. Ciaran knew his hiding ability wasn't perfect but it was still very different to be spotted in them. He wasn't going to ignore that the other saw him especially after the other asked him a question. So thinking it was more polite he let the shadows fall off him like there supose to and came into view.
"You could say that, I really don't like any of them and its fun to see there reactions to being shocked," he replied.

Pepper thought it really neat how the other seemed to be able to hide in the shadows. Honestly it had been a bit difficult for him to notice the other but at least now the guy was talking to him. He offered a grin as the other explained that he liked to shock and startle the techs. A boy after his own heart. He took a quick look over at Ciaran but didn't offer to shake hands as his claws seemed to be his very fingers. He went to scratch at a patch of rocky like skin on his cheek and idea blossoming in his head.
"Hey well your really good at hiding in the shadows...how did you do it?" He inquired looked back at him an impish smile on his face.
"Names Pepper, you?"

Ciaran was glad that he could answer that question that he was being asked. So he thought for a second on how to explane how he used his ability. Looking over the other and saw his clawed-hands and thought those were cool in the different uses he thought if he had claws of his own.
"Thanks," he replied as his tail wagged slowly. "I kind of wrap myself in the shadows like a blanket, its one of my abilities that I got from my demon DNA," he answered.
"I'm Ciaran,"

His DNA father? Bah people talking about their parents always put Pepper in a testy mood, he shifted on the spot and scratched as his cheek before trying to push past this bump in the road of emotions.
"That's cool, I can't do nothin like that," He commented, as all he was able to do was enter peoples dreams at the moment. Being able to cloak yourself in shadows seemed like a much more useful talent than dream walking.
He pointed to the strange mark on Ciaran's lower lip, "What's that on your lip? Lipstick or something?" He inquired curiously.

Seeing that the Pepper was all that happy about something, he grew a little nervous but really didn't show it except for his tail feathers floofing a little.
"Thanks, well I think that your claws I cool looking and could do a lot with them," he replied, as Ciaran thought it would be fun to give the techs a hard poke with those type of claws.
All Ciaran could do is smile, as no one really commeted on his birthmark before. "No its not lipstick, its a birthmark," he answered as he tail waged some more.

He tried to push past his earlier split second funk and moved closer to Ciaran to look at the birthmark more closely. Strange place to have a birthmark wasn't it? He reached out and carefully drew a thumb over the lower lip. Nope not coming off. Actually the more he stared at it the cooler it seemed.
"Neat," he finally stated with a more energetic voice. "I don't have birthmarks, but hey maybe I do...just hiding under these rocky growths." He commented with a laugh as he poked at a couple rock formations on his arm.

Standing still as Pepper checked out his birthmark were he wouldn't get poked axidently by his claws. It was funny that he had to prove that it really wouldn't come off and Ciaran had always like the mark himself.
"It is," he replied with a smile and got up the courage to touch one of the rock formations on Peppers skin. "They could be or the rocky growth could be your birthmarks," Ciaran said as he smile and gave a small laugh. "I take it the techs are also scared of you?" he asked as he could think meeting Pepper for the first time in a very dark place could be scary.

Pepper nodded his head rather enthusiastically, of course the white coats were scared of him! What a silly question. Though he guessed this kid wasn't here too often so he would let that pass.
"Yeah, I've been chasing them ever since I was little," He boasted a bit rather proud of the fact. "I live here after all so they have learned to avoid me if possible." He grinned nodding his head again.
"Why are you here though? Can't say i have seen you before."

Ciaran listened to what he was being told and thought that was cool that the techs were scared of him. All Ciaran did was hide and give them shocks so he didn't think they knew who was give doing to it to them.
"That is defently cool and I guess getting the newbe techs are the funest to scare?" he asked as he wondered about him liveing here for his whole life and Ciaran wondered if he knew Luthor, but he didn't know if he wanted others at the labs to know were he was. "That is true, but does it get lonely scareing them all yourself?"
"I don't know why I'm here. I just was walking around town and then I ended up at the gates and desided to shock a few techs." he said answering the first question. "Well about a few months back I was here for an extended stay becasue I went insane, hurt myself and some one that was close to me thought it would be best that I stayed here to get better, but it had only made it worse. But I have some good friends that helped me come back to my sanity."

Pepper's shoulder's slumped a bit his face falling a bit though he soon perked back up even if it seemed a bit forced.
"Ah well yes the new techs are the most fun, though the challange lays with the ones who know me well," He started as he rolled his shoulders in agitation,
"And normally I have my best buddy with me when I go on my scaring rounds...but..he ran away..." He sighed puffing out a cheek a look crossed between angry and crestfallen on his face.
He ran a hand through his hair in an absentminded manner his eyes looking past Ciaran as if he dare not meet his gaze or betray how upset he was about the whole inccident.
"I've tried finding him through dreams...but its really hard...there are so many dreams.."

With his curous bubbleing over if Pepper did know his friend Luthor and maybe one reason to come her he just thought was to tell him that he had found a place to live and wanted to show him the place.
"I don't know if the techs know that I'm shocking them, but maybe a few can guess who is doing it." he addmited as he didn't know what the techs could do if they knew and he didn't want them touching him or they just might get a shock for there life. "Do you know Luthor?" he asked as he had to know.
Ciran was shocked that his friend ran away as he didn't know were he would go and he was a little consered and as all of his feathers flattened as tighly to his body as they could.
"Thats a cool abillity, but I can see it would be hard as there are a lot of people in town."

Pepper's body seemed to stiffen as the name left Ciaran's mouth. It was hard to tell if he was surprised of just put on edge by the name. He stared at the ground for a bit as if afraid he would get too angry to control himself or would more embarrassingly burst out crying.
"Yeah, I know him...I live under his bed..." He started his voice slow as if he was making sure it wouldn't tremble. He fidgeted on the spot as if his muscles refused to stand still for long.
"He's is or was my best friend...I don't know why he ran away...it's been unbearably lonely here...and now Vampy won't leave me alone. It's always you need to study this, you need to practice that....he is driving me crazy."

Ciaran started to get nervous as he saw Pepper get all stiff and didn't know what to think as he thought as he really didn't want to get Pepper all upset or for him to accidently release his magic and hurt Pepper.
"Well he must have had a reason to do so in the first place. But don't give up on him he might come back and tell you why he did so." he said as he tryed calm Pepper and then thought of something. "I do know how it feels to be alone, but anyways I can come and visit as much as I can and we can go and scare all the techs and we can even do it now id you want," he offered as Ciaran was calming down and his tail gave a little wag.
