When you either have nothing better to do, or need money, this is a quick way to do it; well, somewhat quick. If you have the original version, you have a total of 4 Houses that you can buy; in the Lost Chapters, it?s 5. Bowerstone South, Oakvale, Knothole Glade, Hook Coast, and Snowspire Village in Lost Chapters are where the houses are. In the lists below I will list how much each marital house is to purchase, how much each upgrade is, as well as how much money it would cost to purchase all houses and business in those 5 towns should you decide to take over. I will also add the total amount of how much that will be, but it?s such a high number that it?s easier to break it down and work on one town at a time. You?ll understand what I mean soon. HOUSES Bowerstone South Intial Cost: 1500 Upgrade One: Upgrade Two: Upgrade Three: Oakvale Intial Cost: Upgrade One: Upgrade Two: Upgrade Three: Knothole Glade Intial Cost: Upgrade One: Upgrade Two: Upgrade Three: Hook Coast Initial Cost: 25,000 Upgrade One: Upgrade Two: Upgrade Three: Snowspire Village Initial Cost: 25,000 Upgrade One: Upgrade Two: Upgrade Three: ~~Will be finished at a later time~~

*shrug, too bad they don't allow you to upgrade houses you acquire when the previous owner "has an accident"
i own all of oakvale and most of hook coast and knothole glade. my character likes "accidents"

Which one, North or South? South, you can only get the Hairstylist, and the guy that sells clothing and armor. Of course, you also get the marital home, but that's beside the point. Easiest thing to do is save up your money, ask them to follow you outside to Lookout Point, and kill them; make sure to do it away from the guards. Go back, and you're all set, no one's any the wiser.
Or, you could just marry one of them, that works too.

ninja somehow half of knothole glad had a terrible thunderstorm...I wonder....
Here are the following "Accidents" that happened so i could get the house.
Divorced Wife: Suicide (causes were she stabbed herself with 5 nethral arrows). Real Estate Owned in Knothole glade:
Shop Owner in Oakvale: Was attackd by Zombies (Um he was suppose to follow me to the demon door)
Shop Owner in Hook Coast: Got drunk and fell on my sword. (guard didn't take sorry for an answer)
land Owner Near the Oakvale Cemetary: got drunk and fell on his wife. which she was also dead. (They died of alcohol poisoning..yeah lets go with that)
Divorced Wife In Barrowstone: Screamed herself to death. (hey it did too happened ><)
Bar Keeper in Knothole Glade: Didn't know the fat man had a bounty on his head. (Murdered by Assassins).
Hook Coast Store (Weapons and Armor): Cause of death (we went fishing and he decided to go for a swim) ninja honestly a pike cut his head off! gonk
Hook Coast House near the home: I heard some screaming and I came in to see what was going on, And I seen the theif trying to kill the guard, So I had to put an arrow through him. Um I thought it was a theif, you better check what he did to the owners downstairs they looked pretty pretty burnt out. twisted
Storage barns in Oakvale: Cause of Death, We were playing Chicken Kickin, and somehow I kicked the wrong guys 3 times. sweatdrop
Lady Grey: She won 2nd best to a guard's blade. Yeah it looked like it stung but I AM FREE!!! blaugh
