This is the weyr of Wingrider Ch'dri and Bronze Kenthoth. Please take a moment to read through at the least the first two posts before doing anything more, and respect the rules laid down by both the shop and myself. Thanks!

Any Skies staff is allowed to post, and riders are also welcomed, ICly to post. Anyone else, please arrange it with me, or have my personal permission. I don't bite, honest. Also, RPs which meander to the weyr may meander in here, and thus are automatically granting permisison to those in Ch'dri's company.

01. No stealing anything. Rude, inconsiderate... etc. Just don't.
02. IC and OOC are seperate, and should remain. Ch'dri's thoughs on your character aren't a reflection of my personal thoughts on you. I have characters who hate other's characters, and we're perfectly good friends.
03. Make sure to follow the posting permissions. Use common sense, please.
04. PM me about gifts for the pair and we'll work out either an RP session to deliver it or otherwise.
05. In general, use your brain and be sensible. I don't bite, really. 8D If I think fo somehting to add or adjust, I shall.

Original Name: Chakadri
Age: 25 turns
Gender: Male
+/ Physical /+
Hair: Shoulder-length golden blonde, slightly wavy/curled at the ends.
Eyes: Crystal blue
Complexion: Tanned and weathered by time spent outdoors.
Height: 5 foot, 5 inches
Build: Somewhat muscular, but still a bit lean.
Other: Has a few scars on his arms from cutting accidents during his years as a Tanner and helping his father.
+/ Personality /+
Ch'dri is a mostly laid-back, casual sort of man with wit and humor abounding. He tries to be lighthearted unless it's absolutely serious, prefering not to let the doldrums pull himself or others down. He dislikes conflict and will try to disarm a situation before it gets out of hand - although he ahs been known to start a few fights as well with good cause - like standing up for someone else. He hates bullying and oppression of others and will take a stand against it.

Name: Kenthoth
Age: 7 turns
Color: Bronze
Impressed to: Ch'dri, at 18 turns
Personality: Kenthoth is as sharp as Ch'dri in wit, humor and intelligence, and often disguises it to feign innocence and play with others. He tends to often be on Ch'dri to quit fussing over everyone else and take care of himself, such is his adoration for his rider. He's been known to play playful tricks on people when he can, and also known to be a bit snarky at times. He puts his playful and happy-go-lucky nature aside when it comes to thread however, and is quite serious when it comes to training and also out in flights.

Ephia & Ariath [Weyrwoman]
Honestly, what the Weyrwoman thinks is best goes. I have faith in her decisions.
Ariath is a wise Queen, and should choose freely.
L'cian & Tallith [Weyrleader]
If Ephia and Arias see him and his dragon fit, so be it. I have no qualms with a brown-riding Weyrleader so long as he has a sensible head on his shoulders. For all I care if it were possible, a blue could fly her long as the rider was smart. I don't think the color you ride should matter that much, and I ride a bronze.
Tallith is strong, and capable if able to fly the queen. That should be what matters.

Born Chakadri to Leather worker and a servant of a hold, he led a rather dull life, gearing more to his father's line of work then being a mere servant in a hall cleaning and tasking all day. Still, he was much unpleased by the constant working, but once more involved with leatherwork took to it wonderfully, an outlet away from the doldrums so much and found himself to be rather adept in it's skills with his father's aid. He had a budding future among the rank and file, if not greater with his dextrous hands and quick mind, had he not been there when a Search was conducted. He - as well as most of the others present - were surprised he was picked as a candidate, and he almost refused, but went on the encouragement of his father, who had turned down such an opportunity before and never since had the chance. There in the Weyr he was nervous and excited, and truly becan to learn about the dragons he had watched in his youth - and he did Impress at that hatching. He was surprised, being neither first nor last, that he did however, as so many others seemed more knowledgable and capable about dragons - but the awkward bronze hatchling stumbled dead into him on a clear path, almost bowling him over. Khenthoth and Chakadri were bonded, and a new world opened to them both. Taking his name down in the fashion of the riders, he became Ch'dri and made sure his parents knew of his Impression. Once able to eb out on their own, he made sure to visit them and make sure all was well with his aging parents and brought them gifts of love and thanks for letting him have the chance, and for their love and care in his youth. He is devoted to the dragons and Weyr, and tries to be a moral and spiritual support in keeping people up and cheery when they're down, but tends to neglect himself often in exchange - but not Khenthoth. He adores his bronze more then anything, and often must be reminded by Kenthoth to care for himself when he is unwell or down.

Teladri [Father]
Teladri was a fine tanner, one of the best at the Hold. He hoped to train his sons in the art, but only one truly seemed interested. He never talked much of his youth, never having admitted that he was once found on Search, but declined. When he found out that Chakadri was selected, he told his son to go, and not pass up the chance he once did.
Chakelera [Mother]
Chakelera is a faithful, dedicated person to the hold, doing whatever is asked and needed, and then some. She loves her husband more then anything, as well as all her children. Rather matronly, and serves the Lady Holder's wishes.
Chatel [Brother]
Chatel is the eldest child, a farmer, of all things. Still, he is quite happy, and has a wife. He tends his lands faithfully, although is fairly remote from most of the world. Ch'dri doesn't see him too often. He is older by 2 turns and occasionally sends gifts of his produce to the family.
Keldri [Sister]
Keldri is younger then Ch'dri by 3 turns, and is a Harper. However, she travels often, so where she is is a mystery to most of the family aside the occasional letters she sends to her parents. On rare moments she's at the same Gather as Ch'dri, but this has only occured twice since he became a rider.
Tellera [Sister] ((is PC))
Tellera is his younger sister, by about 6 turns. She took up the Healer craft, and found a decent calling within it, doing well at her training. She is not the best at ehr craft, but does well enough, with almost no errors. She has a bit of insecurity and tries to do her best, yet never thinks she is doing that when she is. Still, she's a calm collected girl who keeps a level head and prefers to be straightforward - medical professionality on and off the job, with at least some compassion.
Lerrad [Brother]
Ch'dri's younger brother, 7 turns younger. Lerrad is currently learning the arts of the smith, and although a slight klutz normally, seems to do well at the craft. His father approves of his skills at least, ebign not too far from the work of the Tanners. Lerrad envies Ch'dri slightly for being chosen and also Impressing, but he wouldn't give up hsi trainign and work, if it came to it, because he enjoys it too much, even if prone to errors when he gets distracted.
Driera [Sister]
Driera is the youngest, 10 turns younger then Ch'dri. She's currently helping her mother in the hold, having no shining talents towards any of the Craft Halls, although she has a decent talent with animals of all kinds and raising and caring for plants. She's got a bit of a temper as well, and often nags at Ch'dri when he doesn't stay in contact.
T'rin [Uncle]
T'rin is a rider in one of the northern Weyrs, and Teladri's brother. Ch'dri has no real knowledge other then a name and a few scant stories form hsi dad to know his uncle, other then that he's a brown rider. Although soemwhat curious about his dragon riding uncle, he has not bothered prying, as it seems there is slightly bad blood between Teladri and T'rin. T'rin is very traditionalist, despite some of his own personal ambitions. Thankfully, he remains in his northern Weyr.
N'rin [Cousin]
N'rin is Ch'dri's cousin at the same age, and although they have only met a few times, there is a strong dislike between them. Their first meeting was around ten turns old, and they got into a fight. N'rin impressed a blue at 17 turns, and when he later found out at their second meeting that Ch'dri impressed a bronze, he was furious. Ch'dri walked away before it escalated into physical violence, and dreads their third meeting. N'rin, like his father, tends to be very traditionalist.
Takessa [Cousin]
Takessa at least seems to have her late mother's senses and kindness, unlike ehr father and cousin, and has somewhat good relations with Ch'dri. Weaver though she is, she is often travelling between places. Takessa is younger by 3 turns, and is somewhat outcast form her family, having been blamed pointedly by her father for her mother's death and resented by her brother as well. Still, having been selected to learn in the Weaver's hall she escaped the 'abuse' and remains in some contact with Ch'dri and his family.
