i preffer the rosies for there rivet guns but the bouncers are the awsomest i only wish it would let you use the rivet gun instead of just search but i guess i'll have to wait until bioshock two

i totally prefer the bouncers to the rosies anyday. bouncers put up a better fight and make it personal. rosie stays too far away and just chucks proximity mines and shoots its rivet gun. not that exciting.

i just relized this rozies are deadly at any range the y can through down proximity mines gun hack you when you get to close and shoot you if you get to far away bouncers have to get close to kill you but the bouncers are still the coolest if the rozies had more helth they would be way more dealy than bouncers

While I've had epic fights between both I'll always go with the tried and true Bouncer. They seem to epitomize Bioshock.

Bouncer. They're brute force, just by the way they ram into you, the presence of a close-combat weapon (the drill), the way they can pound the ground in order to create an electric shock... Their weakness is the fact that they need to get close to create proper damage, but they charge at you so quickly that the distance between you and him is shortened in a matter of seconds.
Compare that to Rosies, who just have a harpoon gun and throw proximity mines. The harpoon gun could be lethal at close range, but since it's slow at shooting and only shoots one harpoon at a time, it's easier to avoid. The proximity mines are somewhat rendered useless by the telekinesis plasmid. Unless you run around directly in front of it, they're very easy to kill without getting hurt.
Design-wise, Bouncers are my favourite. Their design is pure coolness.
Fight-wise, I'd say Bouncers win once more, coz it becomes more of a struggle for survival when you're dodging around, using all sorts of weaponry and plasmids in order to avoid him from getting too close or ramming into you.
Mind you, in both cases if you want to be a n00b (or you just can't be bothered to fight them), Electric Gel (Chemical Thrower) is very effective against either, and kills them without any fight..

Neither. I prefer the Slow Pro, which later became the Rumbler for Bioshock 2 (even though the Slow pro was cut from the 1st Bioshock) .

either way, drop a tornado trap down, they can't cross them, and engage a rosie in a game of catch, using telekenisis to chuck his own mines back into his face!

Rumbles. The whole Idea of a Defensive Big Daddy who can abuse rockets an Mini-turrets makes me shutter.
