i think the new smg is better because it has better accuracy, longer distance the regular and that POTATOS ROCK

new pistol its awesome my favorite weapon of all time is the original pistol so it pretty much just puts it in the bag for being my favorite new one i mean its pretty much the same thing so it is awesome i think anyone who you ask what there favorite weapon almost everyone would say the pistol and the other percentage would be shotgun or battle rifle

The pistol is the best, it is pointless to have a silencer on a SMG (or any weapon) in a Halo game.

Silenced SMG or Pistol...I love the SMG and it depends if the Pistol is like Halo 2's pistol
