Adriel had been dozing, with Iah down for a nap himself and Duncan at work he felt the need to sleep. The apartment was clean the dinner cooking in the over and so a nap wasn't a bad thing right? Chii and Fuu were behaving thankfully and let Adriel nap. They rested lightly on top of the purple and pale skinned man like two boa's just lounging around themselves.
Both had tried to help Adriel relieve some tension but he batted them away not wanting THAT sort of attention from them. He'd wait for Duncan to come home, and even then as of late he was a bit nervous doing it with Duncan ...since well...Iah was the outcome of their first time. Though he was pretty sure that it was a one time thing...he didn't want to risk it just yet. Looking after Iah was enough of a challange. He didn't need two.

Iah woke up feeling a bit odd, not exactly a bad feeling just... not right. He discovered the problem was that what he was wearing seemed to no longer really fit anymore. He stared at the clothing a moment before he set to shedding the items that seemed to be trying to squeeze the life out of him before his next thought was escape. With the held of his tentacles he was quickly leaving the the bed which was feeling a bit confining at the moment. His bare feet touched down and he realized he had a bit more in the way of balance... it all seemed a little odd...
The small boy reached over his shoulder to grab hold of one of his blankets in his bed to wrap it around himself as he found himself a bit cold before he abandoned his bedroom to see out his parents. Daddy was away at work but his Mommy would be around, "Om!" He called out as he headed down the hallway, "OM!" He had to find him, he was around somewhere... and he would be able to tell him what had happened.

Adriel was in a deeper sleep than expected but Chii and Fuu seemed to be awake. Or at least aware.... They lifted themselves as the words carried down the hallway and even turned to look to where the sounds had come from. They knew it was Iah, and Chii went to prod Adriel's side as they knew that Iah was likely wanting out of the crib.
Fuu...just continued to 'look' down the hall as if expecting little Iah to totter around the corner.

Just as predicted the now bigger Iah came around the corner and peeked into the room, "Om?" He said when he saw Adriel laying there before he tilted his head to the side. Mommy was... sleeping? He gave a little sniffle before he walked forward and lifted one of his small hands out, "Cii... Fufu.." He murmured to the tentacles as he reached the side of where he was sleeping and looked for help up. It was easier to climb up of his bed then it was to climb onto other things given the general build of his bed.
His tentacles did a sort of writhing, snake dance as though to show Chii and Fuu that they to had gotten bigger... though their size was still rather lacking in comparison to Chii and Fuu so they did little more then the dance. They didn't want to get smacked after all and both knew that Chii was more then ready, willing, and able to do just that...

Chii was still prodding at Adriel more...feircely now since Iah was there and wanted attention not to mention bigger than before. Fuu lowered itself down to stroke Iah's head and then petted each tentacle as if showing how proud it was that they were bigger.
Adriel grunted at the pokings and finally dredged himself awake. "ung...Chii will you stop that?" He sounded grumpy but wouldn't you if you had been sleeping only to be poked back awake? He rubbed an eye trying to get the heaviness of them to lift and then looked down....and then...down again. His eyes got large as suddenly it hit him that Iah was out of his crib and larger to boot!
"Iah!" he cried out in a delighted manner reaching down to lift his son, who also weighed more...into his arms. "Oh my Iah you've gotten so big!"

Iah gave a happy sound, lifting his hands up to pet Fuu as the tentacle came in close enough that it could be loved on. From there he turned his attentions to watching Chii who was poking at his Mommy until he started to wake up which had Iah smiling in a rather happy manner.
Iah gave a happy sound when he was swept up into his Mommy's arms and happily snuggled against him. This was right where he wanted to be he thought to himself as he pulled his blanket around himself and got comfortable in his mother's arms... then reached a hand out to pet Fuu, smiling at the tentacle, "Fufu... Cii..." He reached over toward the other tentacle when he was done greeting Fuu in an attempt to greet it as well.
The small, red tentacles seemed to accept the petting from Fuu in a grudging manner as they knew when they were beat and the Mommy Tentacles had them beat. For now they would behave.

Adriel was so happy to see his son having grown a small part of him would miss the baby, but he was delighted to hear Iah trying to speak.
"OH Iah! You can almost say their names..." He was surprised that Iah could tell the tentacles apart. but then again Iah had grown up with them...so it was understandable. He noticed just now that Iah was..wrapped up in a blanket. He must be cold he figured and it wasn't until he went to snug his son into the blanket did he realize his son wasn't wearing any clothes.
He supposed the baby clothes certianly wouldn't fit now. Moving to stand up he carried Iah into their bedroom and then laid Iah onto the bed giving his tickles and blowing kisses into his belly before he went to see about finding Iah a shirt.

Iah gazed up at his Mommy for a moment before giving him a smile. That the small words seemed to make the older spawn happy seemed to make Iah happy. He happily snuggled against Adriel and then suddenly found them moving. His trio of eyes went a little wide as they walked along and he hugged himself to Adriel's chest, curious as to where they were heading.
Bedroom he realized, looking around in a curious manner as he was laid down and his mother went off in search or something. He rolled over onto his side, squishing one tentacle which earned him a jab before he rolled again onto his belly and set to watching his Mommy as he searched.
"Om?" He asked of him, wondering what he was trying to find.

Adriel felt his heart flutter hearing his son call him, he reached out and picked up a rather pink sweater and then moved over to put it over his son's head gently. It already had holes cut out of the sides, it was one of his older shirts.
"Here we go Iah, you will be much warmer now," He coo'd and then kissed his son's....well cheek as the forehead contained a third eye. "It Mum darling, not Om...even if that is very cute." He murmured and he sat on the bed and Chii and Fuu reached out to pet and fret over him.

Iah starred up at his Mommy as the man came over and helped him to dress in something that was both already his size and came with tentacle holes already as part of the shirt. He gave a happy smile and smoothed his hands over the shirt before he nodded. He rather liked this shirt he thought to himself.
A soft giggle escaped him as he got kisses from his Mommy and he lifted his hands up to pat his cheeks gently. He tilted his head to the side as he spoke before nodding, "Mmm... ahhh... Mu...m?" He said, trying to mimic the sound Adriel had made before his attention turned to Chii and Fuu as they started to love on him. He pet them and hugged them, seeming to be quite happy over their affection along with their of his Mommy.
His tentacles wiggled for a moment before giving up as though they considered taking a swing at the bigger tentacles but decided against it before trying. No... still to small, what a pain.

As if sensing the younger tentacles eagerness to take a swing Fuu stroked over them in a soothing manner like one may try and calm an upset child down. Chii followed in suit but it was more use to disciplining than it was showing affection to the two little red monsters so it was a bit more stiff than normal.
Adriel clapped his hands together so glad that Iah seemed to go from Om to mum.
"Very good Iah! Oh but won't your dad be so proud of how big you have grown!" he stated wishing Duncan was home so he could show off Iah to him. He pointed to Fuu who was luffing on Iah still and Chii who was more...luffing on the tentacles but more to keep them in check.
"That's Fuu darling, and that's Chii. Can you say that? Fuu. Chii."

Iah lifted his hands to clap them in a delighted manner at the idea that his Daddy would be proud of him. He wanted to show his Daddy how big he was! He leaned his weight against Fuu who was still loving on him, wrapping an arm around that tentacle while he reached his other hand out to pat Chii in a thankful manner. It seemed his Mommy's tentacles were the only ones able to get his own to behave.
He looked up at his Mom as he spoke again, helping to teach him more words, "Da... Fufu." He said, snuggling Fuu, "Da... Cii." He patted Chii, then glanced up at his Mommy and gave him a smile, his delight showing in all three of his eyes. It seemed that unlike Duncan's eyes they were all of the same time.

Adriel could of crushed his son to his chest in a loving manner, his son was far too adorable for his own good! He patted his son's head instead letting his fingers stroke through his black hair. He loved his son, to the point of complete adoring. He was pretty sure he'd become Duncan # 2 if anyone was to hurt his precious little boy.
"Oh Iah, I can't believe how quickly you have grown...." He murmured leaning in to kiss his son again. It felt like only yesterday he had him squirming and kicking around in his belly. Though he was glad the birthing process was over...he really didn't want to EVER go through that again some small part of him missed having Iah inside of him. He guessed he could blame it on post partum but...he wasn't a woman..so...
He shook his head and then smiled down at Iah who was now wearing a shirt far too big for him but at least he wasn't naked.
"Daddy will be so pleased, you know how to say Daddy?" He inquired hoping to teach Iah the word before Duncan came home.

Iah made a happy sort of sound as he was loved on by his Mother, snuggling up against him as he was kissed. He drew back a little bit when Daddy was mentioned, looking around for a moment as though he were expecting his giant of a father to show up as though summoned. He was slightly disappointed when he didn't before he turned to look up at Adriel once more and smiled. It might be for the best since his tentacles didn't seem to get along with his father most days. It made him a bit sad since he wanted to cuddle with his Daddy like he did with Mommy.
He blinked when the question sank in finally and he tilted his head to the side. Say Daddy? He chewed on his lower lip in a thoughtful manner before he tilted his head to the side, "Ahh... D... Da?" He said in a slightly questioning manner, as though he wasn't quite sure if the word were right or not.

Adriel coo'd and clapped his fingers together to show his delight.
"That's run Iah, Da. Daddy." he encouraged wanting ever so much to susprise Duncan. He reached out to stroke his sons hair moving the locks that fell into his sons third eye. He was glad that the eye didn't glower at him...like Duncan's use to. Though he wasn't too thrilled the anger went into his tentacles instead, at least Chii and Fuu had a handle on things.
"daddy," he repeated though he wasn't thrilled with being called mommy he guessed he was considered the female part of the relationship...he certianly couldn't classify Duncan as a mother figure.
