 Elvis smiled happily as he wandered in thr brush. The sky above was overcast and threatened heavy rain again as it had all morning, but for now the sky was taking a break from crying...It must've been tired...
He crawled over a large fallen log before coming to a clearing of a large lake. "ooh.." Elvis said, looking down at his feet as they squished in the mud. Daddy was gonna be mad that he snuck away, but he was tired of coloring because of the weather, he knew his way back and daddy didn't stay too mad if he said sorry lots and lots and lots.
"squishy squishy..." Elvis brethed to himself, wholely entertained with squishing the mud between his toes. He was going to need a bath when he got home anyway, so there was not harm in getting extra icky.

 There was a female fae child just a few feet away from the blue one. She tilted her head, looking at him, playing in her mud.. That looked really fun if the weather wasn't about to blow both of them straight into the sky and only guardians knew where.
"Heeey, it's gonna start raining soon" She told him, splashing into the mud with the male. Sera giggled as the mud squished between her toes. it was fun to play in!

"oh," Elvis breathed, a bit surprised at the sight of the other fae. He stared at her for a moment, be a little oblivious to the fact that she was a girl. "rain...all ready? but i wanted the sky to stop crying allready...if it rains i have to go home before my daddy comes out lookin' for me..." Elvis said and then looked at sera, tilting his head. " where's your daddy?" He asked curiously.

She tilted her head, she didn't have a daddy.. What's a daddy? Sera didn't know. "Whats a daddy?" Sera asked curiously, taking his hand as they walked back from the mud. The sky smelled like rain water. It was gonna start raining again. Fast. "We need to goooo... It's gonna be bad again..." She didn't want someone else getting hurt.

The young blue fae was confused when the other took his hand. " a...daddy, well a daddy is someone who takes care of you and loves you...that's what my daddy does." He explained as he followed sera, but he stopped. " If the sky is going to cry again, i need to go home..." He said softly, frowning at the thought of leaving the other alone out here, she seemed alone any way. " Wanna come over? my dad said he's making soup and sammiches, i like soup and sammiches, it makes my belly feel warm and full and then we take a nap, expecially if the sky is crying. we get out favorite blankey and take a nap!" he explained with a big smil on his face. " my house is that way," He said pointing in the opposite direction, the direction he came from.

Sera blinked, that's what a daddy was? "I wish I had one of those..." She looked down, only to turn around and look at Elvis. His house was the other way? Well if he was sure... "Sure, lets go there. It's prolly safer" She giggled, flapping her wings excitedly as they started to head for the place Elvis had come from. She didn't know where exactly she was heading, but it had to be safer than where she was staying!

"Elvis?! Elvis where did you go?!" Carter called out and sighed. He was a bit of a nervous wreck everytime Elvis went ahead and wandered off. He had already had a scare when elvis was a baby, now that he was older and had more motorskills it was a nightmare!
"Elvis please! where did you go?!"
" hear that? that's my daddy, he's scared all the time. it's funny." Elvis said and giggled, pushing some leaves out of the way and emerging out infront of the house. " Hi daddy!" Elvis said happily.
Carter heard Elvis' little voice and gave a loud sigh of relief. " Elvis don't run off like th-" Carter started, though his eyes fell on the little fae girl holding elvis' hand. He looked around a little, wondering if a caretaker or parent would come around, but it seemed to only be them. The wind picked up suddenly and the rain began to fall. " ah, come now, inside!" Carter breathed, scooping up the little faes and bringing them inside, the hard wind rattling the house a bit, but they were nice and safe in the cozy home.

She giggled, looking up at Carter. he was really really really tall! "Your name is Elvis?" She asked curiously, looking at the other fae. Sera hadn't even bothered to ask his name. "I'm Sera, it's nice to meet yoooooouuuu~" She hummed the last part, amused as Carter scooped them up. It was almost as fun as flying!

Carter set the kids down and finished locking up the windows so they would rattle so much and he sighed, looking over at the kids once he was all done.
"Sera huh? that's a very pretty name. My name is carter, and yes, that is Elvis." he said, Elvis smiling happily. " where are you from Sera? are you all alone?" he asked, frowning a bit. Sera was a bit big to be all alone...how did she manage so long with out anyone?

She tilted her head, looking up at Carter. She was only a little shorter than Elvis was, they were the same age, maybe off by a few weeks. "I'm from the water.. Cept I seep in a tree at night" The female fae told him, only to blink and whine some. Her hollowed out tree had been knocked down in the monsoon. she didn't have anywhere to stay anymore! "Oh... my tree got knockeded down..." Came her gloomy sentence, fiddling with whatever was nearest to her hands.

"oh..." Carter said sadly, frowning a bit. that was terrible...
" My aunty lives in a tree too!" Elvis said happily, but hen he frowned, " but i'm sorry your tree got knockeded down..."
Carter looked at elvis and smiled, petting his hair a bit. " well, we have plenty of room here for another, you can live with us if you'd like sera." Carter offered with a smile.

She perked up, looking at the tall guy when he offered her a place to stay. "Really?" It would be so awesome to have a place near the water! Not to mention she liked Elvis and Carter, that was soooo awesome. It was clear that she wanted to stay, but she didn't want to be a burden..
"I wouldn't bother you two?" The female asked, looking up at Carter still.

carter smiled and pet Sera's hair gently. " of course not, now, lets eat the soup i made..." He said, Elvis taking sera's hand and tagging after carter happily.
"Daddy made my favorite! tomato and grilled cheese!" Elvis said happily, leading sera along and showing her where they kept the bowls. Of course he couldn't reach, but he waited patiently for his daddy to hand them their plates with their sammies. " daddy brings the soup, cuz it's real hot and can give you owies," Elvis explained as he reached up to slide the plate onto the table before moving to climb up the seat to sit.

Sera blinked, looking up at the really tall guy called Carter. "What's soup?" She asked, having only been eating things that came from trees.. And those fish who had passed naturally. She never tried to catch anything, it was mean to kill other creatures who lived in the water.
Curiously, Sera followed Elvis' lead, even more curious as to why Elvis didn't try to flap his wings. "You don't use your wings?" She asked, even she could get one or two feet off the ground when she really tried. Though her reaction to the soup and sammich was that of glee. She had never tasted anything so wonderful before. Whatever this was was amazing!

Carter smiled at the question as he palced the soup bowls on the table for the kids. " Soup is food, except it's liquid, you can make it out of veggies and broth." He explained, helping Elvis up onto his seat, though sera had already found her way up.
Elvis looked over at sera and then back at his wings, wiggling them a bit. He never really tried to fly, because carter couldn't....he never found flying appealing. " No, i don't, sometimes the wiggle, but i don't use them for nuthin'" Elvis explained before taking his spoon and aking some soup, blowing on it to cool it before eating. " Mmm!" he said happily. " I love tomato soup, look sera," He said moving to take break off a bit of his warm grilled chese and dipping it into his soup before eating. " da muh favorite way tew eaddit" He said, carter chuckling and calmly telling him to not talk with a mouthful, he didn't want him choking or something.
