I've only seen Negima! right now, but I own all of Negima!?. While I thought the anime was OK, I wish they hadn't cut so much out of it. Or that they had waited for the series to run a bit longer before making an anime. I think the anime came out only two years after the manga started, which meant that they only had 7 volumes to work with at the time. D:. I still don't know why they felt they had to cut Kotarou out, though.

I need to watch the OADs yet, though. I don't know which parts of the manga they cover, but the animation/art is absolutely gorgeous. I wish the other anime series looked like that.

In terms of plot, the original was better. Well, than Negima!?. After seeing Negima!?, I do have to say that the art style is better. And I do like that they've showed Anya more than the original in it. I feel that the OADs are probably superior to all of them, though, as the animation is gorgeous, and the plot is almost exactly the same as the book that the episodes cover, from what I understand. What would be great is if they redid the entire series, and had it look like that. Or at least, Negima?!. I doubt it'll ever happen, though. D:.

I had meant the anime. I forgot that Negima!? even had a manga. ^^;. I don't care for it very much. In that case, I DEFINITELY prefer the original.
I still stand by my opinion for the anime, though. The shading was better, the colors were clearer, the art was a lot cleaner, the style resembled Akamatsu's a lot more, and the characters had their proper hair colors. I wasn't too big on Yue having blue hair, or Chisame having green. Negima!? fixed it. Now, if it's that verses the OADs, the OADs win. Without question. They're like the first anime in the fact that they follow the manga, and have a better art style, like Negima!?. They're the best of both versions. XD. I wish they'd go back and redo the whole thing like the OADs, but that's not going to happen, unfortunately. sad .
