Rhythm is easy to get. Practice.
you'd think so but i just cant get it with that gam ei think my controller migh tbe funky cause when i play other ppls it works.
Well, the only suggestion I can make is to get a better set or listen to people play.
The way I learned how to pass 10+ footers on DDR is by listening to people play, watching their feet and how to maneuver. I can still remember the rhythm of many of the stepcharts (most of the old ones I still have memorized).
There's plenty of videos of people playing songs, I'm certain of that. There were certainly enough videos of people playing DDR for me to learn, and I've been playing DDR for 10+ years. (aka before youtube even existed) It was harder for me to learn doubles because it costs double the money and it's impossible to practice at home on soft pads (even if you mod), there were very few people attempting doubles for that purpose.
If you need an example of what I'm talking about, just look at this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kj0U194UtlwYou can see that it's not that difficult of a song if you listen to how it's supposed to sound when you play it. This song is the best example I can find of "play how it sounds" because there's a pattern and rhythm that only goes along with one part of the music.
There are videos for all types of rhythm games, including my new favorite.
