The little cat wandered along talking to herself, her soft, tawny fur mingled with the soft browns and tans of the savannah and made her almost invisible. She was hungry.She had to hunt,s he didn't have a choice, that didn't mean she liked it though. Stalking through the long stems she had her eye on something, she wasn't entirely sure what it was but it looked and smelled like food.

Kivuli's gaze was set upon the horizon, she was a little bored, genets could get bored right? They were allowed. She gave a nod to herself and a yawn crossed her dark maw. Boredom, it was certainly the big killer. Flumping further down in to the ground, if that was at all possible, she flattens her dark form in to the dirt, bored bored bored…

The serval crouched and pounced just as the genet squished herself in to the ground, landing almost agilely she turns and blinks owlishly. Okay, what was this? It smelled a little funny sure, but she had thought maybe it was for eating. "Uh hi.." She covers, grinning as wide as a cheshire cat.

Kivuli looks up at the serval, straightening herself she blinks owlishly and frowns "didju us' try n eat me?" she snaps flicking her long tail and making a low hissing sound in her throat. She was not best pleased.

"Uhm.." Nekobasu looks embarrassed, her golden eyes looking across the genet, they were a similar size, she had looked a lot smaller from a distance, she needed to look before she let more often. "Uhm, I'm sorry I thought you were a rabbit.." She looks sheepishly at her paws "I was hungry.."

The dark genet snorted "I don't look nothing like a rabbit you silly moggy." She snorts, sitting up straighter to prove she was in fact nothing like any sort of bunny rabbit. "Yer damn lucky you didn't attack I would torn ay belly out quick as." She frowns, not that she cared about this little cat "didn't your mother ever tell you not to just dive at random things?"

The tan servile gave a sigh "No, I haven't been hunting for very long, it's a bit, complicated." She states casting her gaze to her toes, she was clearly being told off by this creature, what ever it was. "Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you? I have never seen en like you before."

Kivuli rolls her eyes and sinkers "I'm a genet, a genet not a bunny!" She snorts flickering her tail, she felt almost sorry for this little cat now,s he was clearly a bit useless at hunting to not know what a genet was and that you didn't pounce one. "Cmon, I'm going rabbiting you can tag along." She shakes her head wondering where all this kindness for something she didn't know came from. "Names Kivuli, and you are?"

Nekobasu blinks owlishly, the genet? had offered to help her even though she had tried to eat her! Yay! Following the little creature she smiles broadly "Oh I'm nekobasu, thank you so much or helping me, I am completely starving." She whispers, her eyes full of blatant honesty.

"Well nekobasu, maybe I can show you a thing or three, I'v been hunting since I was a little whip of a thing, rabbits are my favourite pray, silly little things, virtually walk in to your mouth." She states making a beeline down a trail she had obviously used before. "You leave them for half an hour, come back and bam, there they are again"

The little servile absorbed the information from the clearly older wiser genet, she wasn't a great hunter, but she refused to eat mice so rabbit was ideal, she just wasn't always successful.

Slipping through the long grass, kivuli made a sign to be silent, she vanishes in to the shadows of the lengthy grass, her tail the last thing to be seen before the sound of a struggle and two quick successions of small screams.

Nekobasu peers throughout he grass watching the display, Kivuli was clearly a master at hunting the bunnies. She watched mesmerised at the display, her golden eyes taking int he technique. "Wow." she whispers sitting and waiting in sheer amazement.

The genet lifts her head from the bodies of the two rabbits "Come on then, have that one." She snorts pointing her nose at the second rabbit. "I hep you learned something here today." She snorts, "don't pounce what ay don't know and rabbits are easy targets."

The little serval gave a nod, he mouth watering as she digs in tot he rabbit, she was too hungry to stand on manners "Thank you, yes, you are an amazing huntress! And i will remember your kindness." She purrs, her golden eyes smiling brightly as she settles in to feed on the large rabbit carcass, this would keep her going and maybe next time she would be able to catch one for her self.
